This expensive arrangement looked nothing like the one I had ordered. The arrangement needed some adjustments (to actually look like the one I had ordered) and I would have been more than satisfied to keep it. If not, I would have been better off buying flowers from Kroger and making my own. I was going to be giving it to my mother that evening at her birthday dinner, so I wanted it to be extra special. It was the owner's attitude that blew it for me. It really caught me off guard. I truly hope she was having a bad day and unaware and she was taking it out on everyone around her. For this reason, I will never be using them again.

Sunnyvale Wild Orchid Florist -- Prom night coming up, grandson wanted yellow tulips for his date -…read morea bouquet, not a corsage. Looked online, then called a week ahead to order 15 yellow tulips in a vase, with a yellow ribbon, delivered to my grandson's house to carry to his date. Customer service - 5 stars. Called in; person took my order; all went well. About 10 minutes later, she called back because she thought something was wrong with the message -- it was subtle, but she was right; a few words were missing, and it made a big difference. Bless her for noticing!! Come prom day, grandson had a mandatory ball game that he'd forgotten, so no one was home to accept flowers. The delivery person ended up making two trips to the house, on a very busy day -- bless her, and all was done without a moment's hesitation or complaint ... I could not have appreciated them more! Wonderful staff here :). Flower arrangement - 2 stars. Made a quick trip to grandson's house about an hour after flowers were delivered, to put them in the fridge. The blooms had opened slightly -- as expected, and not Wild Orchid's fault. But the flowers themselves were not the classic pure yellow blooms in the photo, the kind you think of when someone says "I love yellow tulips." These were smaller, gold-ish, fringe-topped tulips, and they looked a little more tired than could be explained by the delay getting into the fridge. So did the leaves. Also, some of the most visible leaf tops were missing, leaving ragged, brownish edges. (I've never had a florist feature ragged leaves in an arrangement before.) Finally, no bright yellow ribbon, as described and shown in the photo; instead, a coarse, rough, sticky (??) tie - imagine burlap with a touch of gold spray paint. Changed the ribbon, trimmed the leaves, chilled the flowers... they were okay, but not at all what any of us expected from the photo online or previous experience with florist tulips. A girl has only so many prom nights... it would have been good to have been told "our tulips probably aren't really up to par right now." That was pretty obviously the case. Otherwise, wonderful people. Maybe it was just one bad day.

This review is solely for their landscaping design services based on the designer I worked with. I…read moreinitially started conversations with them in Fall 2025 and we developed a beautiful plan that included reshaping and expansion of my front flower bed. We also decided that late February was the better time for installation. Through these initial conversations, my designer was great. Easy to get a hold of, super nice and friendly and just very easy to work with. As we got closer to February, I decided I wanted to keep my flowerbed shape and size. Well, that meant my project was less revenue, and that's when service went downhill. I asked for a redesign to keep my flowerbed at its original shape and size. If expectations were set up front that it would take as long as it did to get the new quote, it wouldn't have been an issue but this designer consistently promised dates and deadlines that were never met - and I had to be the one to follow up every single time. When the designer finally responded to me (multiple texts and a couple calls just went unanswered), it was mentioned (for the first time) they have a dollar minimum and after I asked to leave my FB shape/size as is, I would be under that minimum. We were now just a few weeks out from my install date so I was very frustrated. I finally had to call the owner to complain about the continual promises for a new quote that continued to not get sent my way, and now this apparent minimum that was never mentioned previously. The owner was great and assured me I'd have the new quote within two business days and that he'd waive the minimum for me given my poor experiences thus far - and I finally received the new quote as promised. Install day came around and some of what was planted wasn't even what we agreed to in my quote. Now knowing what I know after working with a new nursery designer, some of what was planted shouldn't even be getting full sun which they are - so naturally, those aren't doing well and need to be replaced. I would think this is bare minimum for what a designer should know. Sometime after the install date, I reached out because I felt the FB looked too bare when I wanted it to look full (and I realize the plants still had a lot of growing to do). They agreed to add a few more grass plants along with additional ground cover to fill up space. All three grass plants died within days, and the ground cover looked so randomly placed, it looked like a child did it. Plus, The ground cover is supposed to be a shade only plant and has been getting full sun. This is in addition to the fact that they had to replace a skyline holly tree twice within just a couple months. And the new grass plants they added weren't even the same varieties as the others and looked wildly different in every way possible. After the second install where those additions were planted, I was really unhappy with it all. I repeatedly reached out to my designer to try to figure out a plan and it was pulling teeth AGAIN to get a response. I know people are busy, but there's zero excuse to not even take two seconds to send a text. There was at least two instances where they were supposed to come by to discuss issues and my disappointment with the finished work and completely no-showed, not even a text. If I did this more than once to my clients, I wouldn't have a job. She finally came by one afternoon to discuss a plan but at this point, I'd had too much disappointment and lost trust in this designer. I never received another quote as discussed (which sadly I didn't even expect to at this point), so I just gave up and called Calloway's and paid to work with a new designer. Sadly, I feel as if my project was simply too small for them to warrant decent customer service from the designer. I've attached several photos of my FB, which looks like work I could have done myself - or any other non-professional. It just looks terrible. The first several photos are after the first install, and the last are after the additions. Extremely disappointed, but I'll reiterate that the owner was great.

The team was professional throughout the process, and I appreciate the effort that goes into creating these keepsakes. DB Andrea has built a strong reputation in the flower preservation industry and offers a wide variety of customization options. However, I was ultimately disappointed with the final resin piece I received, especially considering the premium price point. The photos and videos showcased on Instagram set very high expectations, but my finished product did not resemble the level of detail, fullness, and overall appearance that I expected based on their portfolio. Some of the flowers appeared more crushed or flattened than anticipated, and the arrangement did not have the polished look I was hoping for. Additionally the pressed flower frame I had paid extra for no glare and reflection in the glass but as you can see you can see the glare and reflection still in the glass which makes me think that type of glass was not used. Flower preservation is an art form, and I understand that every bouquet dries differently and results can vary. Still, for the amount charged, I expected the final product to be much closer to the examples used in their marketing and social media. The cost is significant, so I believe it's reasonable for customers to expect a result that closely reflects the quality shown in promotional photos. While I did like some of the smaller pieces such as the pressed flower frame and ring holder and appreciate having my flowers preserved, I don't feel the resin centerpiece delivered the value I expected for the price. Overall, my experience was mixed, professional service, but the final product did not fully meet the expectations created by the company's online portfolio. I even reached out personally to Tiffany the person I worked with for resolution but no resolution was provided. For this reason although a Starbucks reward was provided for a positive 5-star review I cannot recommend this company and will not be using them in the future.
