Unfortunately for the good people of Franklin, their experiences with this local flower mart have not been nearly as pleasant as mine. After receiving, without question, the worst flower experience of my entire life thanks to 1800-flowers, I decided to simply find a local florist and do business with them myself. It was my grandmother's 85th birthday this year (God rest her soul), so after finding Rebecca's website and reviewing their merchandise, I ordered one of their orchid plants, and wrote a note that implored them to take good care of my order. The result was better than I imagined, a gorgeous and full orchid plant that bloomed all year long and helped make my grandmother's final birthday a happy one. Next, I ordered from them a nice dish garden plant for mother's day, which exceeded my expectations and is still thriving to this day! Finally, I decided to call them up for my Aunt's birthday. The ordering experience over the phone was the most efficient conversation I have ever had, in my life so far, calling a florist. They were on it, they were friendly, they made me feel like I was in capable hands. Linda asked all the right questions, listened while I gave input about what colors and flowers I desired, and helped me craft the language for the card. (I was so excited about the impending birth that I really struggled with getting the message just right.) As for delivery, Linda was prompt in getting the bouquet to the hospital within an hour or two after I provided her with my daughter's room number. If I had had any lingering concerns (I didn't), they quickly would have dissolved once I saw a photo of the arrangement. I was more than happy and satisfied with the flowers, colors and vase used. My only suggestion when you use her is specify very clearly when you want them delivered. There was a little problem with that - supposed to be delivered in the morning, didn't arrive until the afternoon. Wanted to leave them out in the wind and rain. When I said no, suggested the neighbor's house. When the neighbor wasn't home, they asked to leave them under her awning. Told them no, they'd need to come back. They did. They made it right. It all worked out in the end. I wish the owner - who I don't know/never met/don't even know her name - much success.
