I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. The entire experience was incredible from the phone call to place the order where they were lovely, to the flowers themselves that arrived on time and in perfect condition. My mother is a stickler for flowers and she was blown away by the quality of the arrangement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

I called late in the day before I absolutely needed flowers delivered for my Mom's Birthday, only on the basis I mapped this location was close to her work. The employee who answered the phone was kind and knowledgeable both about the selection of flowers they had (which were a lot) and delivery estimation. End result the flowers arrived right at the time she said they would, and apparently looked just like I had been promised! I will definitely call on Blackshear's for all my Houston flower needs. read more

Their customer service and quality has gone down. I ordered a floral arrangement on a Friday for delivery on Tuesday for bosses day and let the person placing the order know which arrangement I wanted. The flowers didn't get to my boss until 3:3 in the afternoon, every time we called we couldn't get a straight answer as far as an eta. When I called to complain about how the flowers looked nothing like the arrangement I placed an order for one of the ladies wanted to argue with me. They finally offered to send another arrangement of my choice so I chose something in the same price range I had originally ordered and again nothing like what I ordered. I won't be ordering from them again. read more

I grew up in North Shore and remember fondly of Blackshear's making our homecoming mums and prom and dance corsages. When I wanted to get some flowers delivered in the area, I immediately thought of them. I called and spoke with Angel who was so personable and sweet on the phone. She got everything set up quick and easy over the phone. I'd ordered the flowers around 12:30ish and they were promptly delivered around 3pm. It was a nice spring mix arrangement but nothing to exciting. The customer service that Angel gave along with the prompt delivery is definitely the big winner here. read more

This company has the absolute worst customer service on the planet. This is not the old Blackshear's florist that we all remember from growing up in the north shore area. The quality has gone down tremendously. And as I mentioned the customer service is far from what you should receive.Trust me you are better off purchasing from one of the vendors online like 1-800 flowers etc. read more

My husband's grandmother is in the hospital, and is 1,000+ miles away. I found Blackshear's due to their close proximity to the hospital. The lady who took my order was very friendly. I called when they first opened, and the flowers were delivered by noon. I gave her a price range and told her I'd like a colorful spring mix. They did exactly what I wanted and the recipient loved them! Couldn't be more pleased. read more

The worst service out of any florist I have ever experienced. Order was placed 2 weeks prior to valentines & pre-paid. Was told they would be delivered at 9am on Valentine's Day and they never came. Nor will they answer their phone. Don't waste your time to even contact this crooked company. read more

Never get your flowers from here.... planned a whole week ahead of time and for them to deliver the day after Valentine's? Yeah fck this place read more

Blackshear did the flowers for my bridal bouquet, all of the bridesmaids bouquets, and the men's boutonnieres and they were AMAZING!! I went to Blackshear with some ideas, but they really helped me pick flowers that fit with my budget and were even more beautiful that the ones I had picked. They really listened to what I wanted for my bouquet and made my bouquet memorable for the rest of my life. I had so many people complimenting my bouquet at my wedding and to this day. I was and still am extremely happy with the services Blackshear provided. I would highly recommend them and I will continue to use them for special occasions. My wedding was in January of 2018. read more

I don't recommend this florist. Obviously they are way to busy for more business. I called today to order flowers for my best friend which works at the local middle school. I called to see if it was to late to have flowers delivered today. She ask me what I was looking for. I told her, well her favorite color is purple. She said, we would have to go into the cooler & everyone is busy today. I told her thank you & I would call another florist! Wow! Guessing they are rolling in the dough to not need a new customer. Don't waste your time with these people. If I could give them a negative star I would. How ever I did find a great florist down the road. Which I will be yelping next. read more

I've been a customer for years and suddenly they decided to stop doing my same arrangement for valentines day and they now say my choices are either plain red roses or for me to give them a price I want to pay so they can see what THEY want to sell me. They just lost a customer! read more

Valentines day ruined! what kind of business would take your money and have the nerve to say 'oops sorry we couldn't deliver it on the day you paid to get it delivered it on, it's just that we got so many orders...tell you what we'll deliver it the next day free of charge" ... and I said 'Oh great let me pay the 'valentine's day' price while getting them the next day and then I said wouldn't this be something you should have prepared for? like you guys didn't know valentine's day was today? like seriously what's the point of getting them the next day?!? the whole point was that it VALENTINES DAY! and My special someone felt left out as she saw her other co-workers get flowers from obviously more dependable florist shops. I was a long time customer for years, but now I must look elsewhere for my floral needs. if you need something delivered during a holiday STAY AWAY from Blackshear's Florist! read more

I tried to order flowers for my girlfriend through Blackshear Florist last year. When my girlfriend hadn't received the flowers by mid afternoon on Valentine's day I called the florist. I was informed that they were not going to deliver to downtown this year. I will never use this florist again, and I hope I can save someone else from doing the same. read more

I just want to acknowledge Mr. Darryl from this flower shop. Yesterday(4/23/2018) I stopped by to pick up some roses for my wife to just surprise her. It was no special occasion or anything like that. I get off of work at 6:00 p.m. Well, I called the flower shop to see what time they closed and Mr. Darryl told me they close at 6 and also told me that he'd stay open for me till I got there. So I got there and there he was. I got my flower arrangement and when it came time to pay, their computer was down and he just told me to take the flowers and just to pay him back when I get a chance. That made my day. Good to know there are still nice people out here like Mr. Darryl. Thanks a lot. You helped put a smile on my wife's face. read more

I wish I could give a minus star because this place is very unprofessional and rude to their customers. I wont ever use them!! When they couldn't deliver flowers to a friends family funeral, my friend called to see what happened to the delivery and asked if the flowers could still be delivered to the family. She was then cussed out and called very bad names. Dale needs a lesson in business etiquette and should have tried to make this right!! read more

I ordered a standing spray for my mother's funeral. When I called in the order they were very professional and helpful over the phone. The arrangement they delivered was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have been more pleased! read more

I went to Blackshear's for my wedding flowers and it was a big mistake. I had horrible customer service from the owner, Kim. She took forever to respond back to me on a quote for my wedding flowers. Then I had some minor changes that I never herd back from. I had to call her to see if she still wanted my business. She blew me off on the phone and never called back. I recommend not doing business with Blackshear's read more

Not thrilled with this place at all. The first time I used them they used the wrong flowers on a order I placed. When I called to ask why they informed me they were out of the flowers that should have been used in the arrangement. I believe that is something that should have been stated when I placed the order but I gave them another chance because we all are human and people make mistakes. I ordered again for Mother's Day and when my mother received her flowers they looked like they had just been thrown together quickly and were no where near the same as the arrangement I seen online. So, I called them to let them know I wasn't happy and sent them a picture of the arrangement that was delivered. The lady stated she would call me right back and I never received a call but I did get an email stating to call her first thing in the morning. The next morning I call and was told I would be called right back and 2 hours went by so I called again and was rudely addressed by Trish. I don't recommend anybody to use this flower shop. They are very unprofessional and over priced for crappy arrangements. read more
