More than a year after our wedding, we continue to receive kind words and requests for wedding advice/ reviews from friends and acquaintances. We hope our review here is helpful to you as well. The presence of fresh flowers at our wedding really added to the day, and we are glad we had them. We worked with Erin Reed at Floral Events for numerous bouquets and table centerpieces for our wedding ceremony and reception. She was kind, helpful and efficient in the initial stages of designing everything despite covid issues that kept popping up. She also spent time with us to talk through details of our order and to show us a demo of the bouquets. Erin was even able to incorporate some heirloom items into the bridal bouquet. That bouquet was absolutely lovely and just outstanding. The flowers were much more yellow than we had requested, but it was still nice. She prepared the heirloom items by hand and ensured they looked elegant with the flowers in the bridal bouquet, which meant a lot to us. The other bouquets and centerpieces, however, arrived on the day of the wedding with mixed, disappointing results. A couple were lovely but the majority had clearly been hastily put together and not in the form we had agreed upon in our contract and invoice. For example, vases were used for bouquets where we had asked for them to be wrapped in paper and vice versa. Many of the flowers were dyed in an odd color we had not requested. They also looked nothing like the demo bouquets, which was disappointing and confusing since the bridal bouquet was so exceptional. None of this ruined our wedding day, but we have not hired Floral Events for other milestones we have had since working with them. We have avoided hiring them again as quality control seems to be an issue for them internally. read more

I had to postpone by big wedding for 2021 and instead had a micro wedding at my parents. Let's just say, Javier is beyond amazing! I couldn't thank him enough. It was such a short notice and he and his team were able to deliver everything I had wanted for my backyard wedding! The arch, centerpieces, and bouquet were perfect. He even added on a Boutonniere for my fiancé! THANK YOU!! He also used the same color palette as for my big wedding next year! Planning a wedding is a LONG process. You've got to pick so many different vendors, and some are good, some are bad, and some are GREAT! Floral Events is another one of those AMAZING vendors, that I truly have to share my story with. I personally, did not care about flowers, because I know myself and my friends won't remember them, as long as the food was good and there was plenty of drinks, that's all that is needed for a successful wedding in my book. However, that's why I got married, because now I have a better half making better informed decisions when I falter. One of my wife's biggest MUST HAVE's was beautiful decor, ie: flowers! I had searched for different vendors all around town, we met with several different ones, but when we met with Erin and her staff at Floral Events, I was sold. Their professionalism, as far as calling and emails was one of their biggest pluses in my book. I am all about that out of a potential vendor. During, the first meeting, what made it easy was they have flower books based on color! It seems so simple to have, but they were the only ones to actually have it. So if you want blue, they have a book you can go through and pick all the naturally occurring blue flowers. We were no flower experts, so this made it more easily to visualize. In addition, to these color books, they have plenty of books of previous weddings where we can actually see their work on display. Once, we picked our flowers and designs now came the jaw dropper, the price of course. In all honestly, their prices are very reasonable, but the initial offer was still outside of our proposed budget. Erin and her team are VERY flexible. They are willing to made adjustments and substitutions to reduce your design based on your budget. After, some back and forth the final price was agreed upon. Going into the wedding day my wife and I had a certain expectation out of the arrangements, we must say they went ABOVE and BEYOND as far as their final product. It turned a nice venue into a simple stunning one. And I was shocked, but I actually got comments about how beautiful the flowers were, from my friends, even after a long night with an open bar. That goes a long ways. If you are looking for a flower vendor that delivers and will communicate with you throughout the process these are your people! read more

Floral Events and Javier did a marvelous job with our rehearsal dinner and Wedding and reception bringing a festive, lively vibe to the day. I wanted bright, saturated colors with lots of texture. I asked for gerbera daisies and got such amazing creativity in the bouquets and centerpieces. They make me smile still. I appreciated that we were able to repurpose flowers from the rehearsal dinner for the reception. It all went very smoothly. And it was beautiful. read more

Floral Events was one of my absolute favorite vendors at my wedding! The florals and centerpieces pulled our white, gold, and blush 1920's wedding theme together perfectly. I worked with Erin throughout the planning process and couldn't have asked for a better consultant. She never pressured me to go over my budget; in fact, quite the opposite! I came in right on budget with a laundry list of flowers (including covering an entire arch in our church with white flowers on the front and back!) I loved that a final look was included in the package prior to the wedding, so I could see all the arrangements, centerpieces, and décor items together. I made some changes to the florals at that last appointment and Erin made sure they were incorporated effortlessly. On the big day, Floral Events arrived on time for set up and take down and even sent two different deliverers to my getting-ready location and my soon-to-be husband's getting-ready location. They were very organized and made sure they didn't create any extra stress for me or my wedding planner! Overall, I cannot recommend them enough to any bride! I was so happy I found Floral Events Inc. and worked with their amazing team, especially Erin, for my Labor Day wedding. Erin is knowledgeable, helpful, responsive, and so sweet. She is a stand out. I can't say enough about my flowers. My bouquet was beyond beautiful. Like many brides, I don't know much about flowers but had a very general vision. Erin took my description and created the most stunning arrangement - it was exactly what I wanted. We got so many compliments on the centerpieces and florals for the reception too, including our sweetheart table and a gorgeous fireplace garland. We had a Jewish wedding and our Chuppah arrangements were a huge stand out! Erin and the team handled my last minute requests for aisle/pew markers, and extra arrangements for my bridal brunch. Overall: great to work with Erin and her team, beautiful modern/bohemian/rustic vision, gorgeous flowers, and much more affordable than I was anticipating - extra bonus. read more

I cannot stop dreaming about my flowers from my wedding! Erin and Floral Events turned my thoughts into a reality. My flowers were so elegant! My bridesmaids and I were so excited about our bouquets - they were simply STUNNING! How they included pinecones into the boutonnières were so clever and classy. I had an appointment with Erin at the warehouse that I scheduled weeks in advance and even received an appointment reminder the day of. I drove 25 minutes out of my way to go to the warehouse and as soon as I arrived all the doors were locked. I rang the doorbell like the signage on the door said and still no one answered. I called several times afterwards with no response and even sent an email and got nothing. After about 18 minutes of waiting I decided to leave as this is a true example of how these people run their "business." I can't even imagine what the service would be like on my actual wedding day, what a disaster. Erin finally called me about 20 minutes after our original meeting time that was scheduled and said she was in another meeting as if that was an appropriate and understandable response to make someone wait who is potentially planning to give you thousands of dollars for flowers on one of the most important days of their lives. Do not do business with this company, they are extremely unorganized and forget about their appointments. Worst customer service and experience. read more

Good things that stick out: offered a second reveal when I was not pleased with the first one due to not having worked with the right rep. Contacted me about having a bouquet for my bridal shoot when it had not even crossed my mind to connect with them. Understood my vision and was able give me what I wanted despite my limited vocabulary in articulating. Bad things that stick out: We were missing some flowers. Still unsure if that was on the venue or not. At the end of the night, the cleanup crew from the vendor threw out our flowers. No one asked us if we wanted to keep them. read more

My wedding planner referred Bill after meeting with several big name florists in Houston. The florists I met before Bill were insanely expensive and unwilling to work with my budget. I had a decent budget of $6000. Bill LISTENED to me and was empathetic to my stress. Flowers were important to me but I felt like vomiting with the thought of spending thousands of dollars for them. After our initial meeting, he invited me back and made a mock up table scape of the flowers I liked and the colors of my wedding. It was incredible! I highly recommend Bill. What a beautiful flower, What a talent to put them together and what a great taste. I have looked and looked and looked for flower arrangement and bride bouquet for days and days and I couldn't find one that my heart fall in love with totally!! Finally I found one that was close to what I thought and dreamed of, I showed it to Bill on our meeting and OH MY GOD when the bouquet was delivered to me the day off I couldn't believe my eyes it was so beautiful that took my breath a way..
