Maybe if they had walk in hours vs they're busy hours (such as morning rush to get trucks out) it would be more helpful. Must admit, first time walking in, the shop is very old and resembles many of the antique/junk shops up and down Hwy 70. There are boatloads of what looks like yard sale rejects from 15-20 years ago sitting around all over the place collecting dust. I honestly didn't know what to make of all that at first. Also in complete transparency, there aren't many flowers for a florist. They must do most of their business in the back and/or custom, as all they had were a few roses and a small handful of other common flowers (less than 5 different types) on display - along with about 3-4 pre-made arrangements in vases. For what I was needing though, the flowers and price (and the service/friendliness) were outstanding. I got a dozen freshly-cut red roses for the walk-out price of $12.95 (no vase, no other accoutrements e.g. babys breath). The lady checked me out expediently and I had no problems purchasing or receiving exactly what I walked in looking for. The only other thing I would have purchased, if it would have been available, was a Valentine's Day card. We are 3 weeks out from V-day, I get it, but with a GIANT wall of cards (all of which look to be about as old as the decor and "junk" laying around) there wasn't a single V-day card on the shelf. Otherwise, I had no issues and the flowers look great! Would stop in again with no hesitations if all I needed was a dozen roses.

There was no plant on my front nor back porch. I called this morning to explain it had not arrived, and the manager, Alex argued with me that it had been delivered at 2:00PM. I told him that I needed to receive another one so that I could tell my mother about it and thank her. I offered to pay for it if necessary. He said the driver had delivered it, but that they would send a replacement " free of charge". My husband went outside to bring in a box and we saw the poinsettia down the driveway next to the road at the mailbox. When he went down to get it and to take a photograph, the new delivery gentleman pulled up. My husband told him what had happened. He apologized stating that the other driver " should not have left it there". When I called Alex back to say the mystery of the first poinsettia had been solved, he cut me off stating his driver never would have done that! I said well he did. He then argued with me that I should've been home yesterday in the first place, but that I had pushed them to drop it off. He then said, My driver left it at your door. I don't know how it ended up down at your mailbox". I said ask your driver from today. He and my husband saw it at the mailbox. He then said again they had replaced it " free of charge". He was extremely rude and defensive. Obviously, the first delivery man did not leave the plant in a safe place. That is not my issue. My concern is that the "Operation Manager" implied that I was lying about the situation. Mistakes will occur. What matters most is how they are handled. I never post reviews positive or negative. However, this was too egregious to let pass.
