When my MIL texted a photo of the bouquet I thought they're may have been a mixup, so I called the shop. The woman I spoke to said they didn't have orange roses, so substituted the red, which was understandable, and she says they had no daisies. In my mind that doesn't explain the difference in number of stems but she said I got something comparable to what I paid for. I'll leave the photos of what was ordered and what was received so others can judge that for themselves.

She also said I should have let her know sooner. I hung up. I found this gem of a florist Sonya's. Her arrangements were absolutely gorgeous. She even went to the warehouse got fresh flowers. I sent everyone there to get flowers. The casket spray was white roses and I have never seen such a beautiful spray. I kept the flowers on the porch and they stayed fresh for 3 weeks. Flowers are more than just a gesture, they are a compassionate gesture. I know how it feels to get a card or flowers when I was mourning. Their flowers are beautiful. I get a bouquet every year for Valentine's Day. This year, I was feeling under the weather, was leaving work early when my boyfriend said the delivery window was 8-5. I called FFD and spoke with a staff member who let me know we couldn't reroute the delivery but they would make me a new bouquet to pick up. The staff member was so patient as I had almost completely lost my voice. I showed up to their shop with my mask on and a barely audible hello. They knew exactly who I was and got my package ready for me. I love that they partner with other small businesses to create fun bundles. The candle accompanying the flowers smelled amazing and the chocolates were delicious. Over a week later and the flowers look just as good as on day one! They also have fun workshops to build your own bouquets and seasonal wreaths. Highly recommend them as a quality, ethical florist.

And was told that the roses were $8 each and then the lady said 8x8 is 64. Like I can't do math. She then proceeded to tell me that since I live in NeYork city that I would be paying more. While I'm all about patronizing local businesses, this is not one of them. Most recently I received an advanced delivery call from them and indicated I was out of the country and asked for delivery upon my return. They refused! They then contacted the sender and insisted on an alternate delivery location. The flowers delivered to my neighbors were nothing more than what could be purchased at a grocery store for under $10 and the sender was charged $85.
