So, why do we 'have' to pay before receiving 10- 20 minutes of physiotherapy, which usually consists of being 'relieved' of pain with an electric pad? Because of Covid, there are almost no others in the waiting or any of the empty 5+ rooms. However, 'new' 'canadians' often 'ask' for payment before. yesterday, a 30 yr old male 'receptionist' immediately 'asked' for me to pay as soon as I set foot in the office, without 'noticing' or 'caring' that this senior citizen was out of breath from rushing 30 blocks for the 5th 'vi$it' in 2 weeks or 'caring' that I said I would pay after the session as usual. There are not even an paper cups or water coolers available either. After holding me 'hostage' with his repetitive "I don't know what to say", after he ignored my asking how long the office would be open (which he finally answered would be until 6:30 pm, 30 minutes after I would have been finished at 5:50, the Physiotherapist, who was the only other person there, 'asked' me to 'please' pay now". I left and later saw the masked physiotherapist walk passed me 10 blocks west of their office an hour later after I left and then fell off my bicycle. Thankfully a woman noticed and asked if I was ok. I thanked her and although I am in more pain today, I shall not return to that physiotherapist fir his 'help' again.

I was feeling pretty discouraged at this point after being told there wasn't much I could do unless I wanted to get a cortisone steroid shot in my tendon. Since my work prevents me from resting my hands/wrists properly, I knew healing would be a long road. After 5 treatments, I am happy to report that my tendonitis has been resolved! Kevin is a a great physiotherapist, with plenty of empathy for his patients. He used different treatments on my wrist such as shockwave, cold/hot laser, ultrasound, suction cups, electrotherapy, etc. On top of that their rates are very reasonable.

Since then, I've returned a couple of times, once for a hip issue that I had struggled with for years, and once for chronic stomach problems that had persisted for almost a year. The stomach medications from my doctor weren't helping and seemed to make things worse, and no one could give me an answer. After just one session with Alp, my stomach pain was completely gone, and a month out have not returned. I had no idea how much fascia can be involved with such a wide variety of health issues. Alp is an expert in fascial manipulation, using the Stecco method. Unlike other therapists I've seen, where the FM was either too painful to tolerate or caused flare-ups of my chronic pain, Alp approaches everything carefully and thoughtfully. His method works wonders without causing any discomfort, and I've had the best results with him by far. I feel so lucky to have found Alp, and I'm amazed by the pain relief fascial manipulation has brought me.

I was greeted with a warm welcome from staff and some forms to fill out to explain my pains and issues with my shoulder/neck. I was then taken into an examination room where Dr. Rod questioned me and took history of my shoulder problems and other ailments/issues in my health. Very thorough! He then suggested B12 shots with Trigger Point Therapy for Myofascial Pain which I was skeptical about at first but they made you feel so comfortable that I said go for it!
