Flow Collision in Charlottesville hasn't been a great experience so far. I was told the repair would take 5 days so I brought it in on a Friday (with appointment) so they could start 1st thing Monday. I didn't think it would be a problem as I had rental coverage on my auto insurance policy. After 10 days I was informed that a part was on back order until the end of the month (15 more days) by which time my rental coverage was exhausted. I couldn't drive the car without the back-ordered part & I needed a vehicle, so rental continued out of pocket. After a week the part was received and installed. When I picked up my vehicle, I was not satisfied with the repair. I wasn't willing to continue the rental out of pocket, so I took it home to await the availability of a loaner. Three weeks later, still no word. After a couple of attempts to reach out, no response. The last attempt, I was told the estimator was at lunch, to call back in an hour. I called back an hour later and was told that he had just walked out the door for lunch, to call back in an hour. I called back an hour later, they didn't see him at his desk nor in the lot, "he must have walked to the building next door". They took my name and number for him to call me when he got back. No word that day..... It has been 2 months since I first met with the estimator. Communication is horrid. I constantly feel as if I've fallen between the cracks or I've been completely forgotten. My only consolation is that I still have the 2-party check from the insurance company. Unsure how long they can float that expense. read more

I've had two experiences with this company. The 1st was to repair minor damage and they performed well. The second most recent experience was just awful. Original estimate was to complete the repairs in 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks before it was repaired. I was told 3-4 times that the car would be ready on a certain date only to have that date come and go without any communication with me. When I picked the car up I believe my rep and his manager was intentionally unavailable to speak with me as they knew I wasn't happy with their efforts. No one was available to review the repairs with me. When calling their telephone system keys on caller ID to route your call. A couple of times I received a recorded message saying that I was calling after hours when clearly I wasn't. I guess they simply didn't want to talk to me. At pickup the car wasn't washed there hindering my inspection of their efforts. At pickup I asked my rep and / or the manager to call me. No one ever called. I'm leaving this constructive criticism in hopes that the business will improve their service to promote their business and to improve customer experience. I dropped my car off at Flow Collision Center on Wednesday, October 15 around 3:40PM. My rental contract with Enterprise in Charlottesville started shortly thereafter. On Tuesday, October 21, I received a text message from Flow that they have ordered the parts they needed for the repair. I was right away concerned and somewhat frustrated that it took them 6 days to order the parts. I immediately called them to find out how much longer it would take to get my car back. I left a voicemail for the estimator with the request to call me back. She didn't. I called again on October 23 and was informed that the parts would be delivered on the following Wednesday. I immediately expressed concerns as I had just been informed that my rental reimbursement insurance was going to run out on the 30th. The estimator assured me that she would do what she could to have the work completed within a reasonable time frame. I called her again yesterday, October 31, after I had received a text message that the repair was nearing completion in the hopes that I would be able to pick up my car the very day. She then informed me that they are still waiting for some parts and again she couldn't give me an estimated completion date. In the meantime, I'm stuck with paying out of my own pocket for the rental car. My issue with the Flow Collision Center is that they were dragging their feet to get the car looked at the Thursday after I had dropped it off to order the needed parts right away. Instead they waited until the following Tuesday to order the parts. I do need a car to get to and from work every day, so I have no choice but to pay for the rental out of my own pocket, however I feel that Flow Collision should be made liable for delaying the process. read more

Flow Collision in Charlottesville was a hideously bad experience. They said a repair job would take 8 days. After 15 days, they had not even started the work. Communication was poor, and they repeatedly overpromised. A very poor experience. read more

I got hit by a deer on passenger side bumper, fender and door and since they had it, I had them repaint the hood because of road chips and install a new driver side headlight. I dropped my very nice Honda Accord off with them on April 22 finally got it back sept 26. The first time they said it was ready they didn't do all the body work and the new grill had a crack in it. The second time I picked it up, there was trash in the paint and the hood looked like it was painted with a flat white and a pinky space between fender and hood and the fender and bumper smashed together to make it fit and they didn't put all the parts back on under the hood. The third time you could see red dry erase under the paint from where I circled the trash. The fourth time the paint didn't match. Finally the sixth time I just went with it there was still some trash and the windshield and sunroof and side mirrors has over spray on them and part of the bumper wasn't attached all the way and the headlights were never adjusted and shine in the sky. I spent 1800 dollars out of pocket for this. No I would not recommend them. I felt sorry for Jennifer and Copper. But while I was there waiting for my car I looked at a 2019 Jeep wrangler at the Audi dealership thats connected to it, I've had it for 4 months now and it has oil seeping out from under it, the guy said I can't say oil leak because it hasn't sprayed onto other parts under the jeep, and it MIGHT not be covered with the warranty and there is a light that continues to come on that I spoke to someone about when I went to get my car, but I felt it was blown off and when I called about the seeping oil the guy was rude and short with me. I've had a terrible experience with this place! I just hope I have a better outcome with my Jeep read more

Purchased a car from Flow in Charlottesville. Less than a year later, it failed the state inspection. We had two garages look at the car -- both concurred that it would take about $1500 to get the car to standard, plus another $1800-$2000 to fix the A/C. We contacted Flow to see if their service department could help us out -- they were unable to fix any of the issues, but charged us another $450 dollars for looking at the car and trying/failing to fix it. This is the stereotypical rip off used car dealer -- there are many other better options for car buying in he Charlottesville area. Steer clear of this place! read more

I have my Bug serviced at Flow and have had the pleasure of working with Robert. I believe his last name is Wagner. The first time I worked with him, he was working in the tire department and the second time, I got the impression he was in charge. He is truly a professional. He is pleasant, detail oriented, and if he does not have the answer, he is sure to find the right one and he FOLLOWS up--yeah, believe it! Have not had this kind of service in a VERY long time.
