I remember thinking as I waited for the evening train from Madrid to Valencia, "I bet I'm the only person in this line who has no idea where they're sleeping tonight". There was a motorcycle grand prix in town and every sub 150 Euro a night place in Lonely Planet was booked.
So upon arrival around 9pm I walked out of the train station just trying to feel my way around and ended up here in short order. About 40E a night.
The rooms are clean and well appointed. Not much of a view or anything just a safe good place to lay one's head that is convenient to most parts of the city
It's a good thing the room was decent because I got nasty sick and spent several nights very ill here. Important note if this happens to you: the bathroom door slides, it does not swing open. That cost me a valuable second on the way to the toilet. read more
