Stayed 2 nights here. Very nice high end hotel. Located about 5 minutes walk from the Turia Park, 2 minutes walk from Aragon subway station and about 15/20 minutes walk to reach Plaza de la Reina in downtown Valencia. Friendly and helpful staff. If you rent a bike, they have a bicycle parking spot downstairs into the parking lot to accommodate you. Buffet breakfast was good but in the bad part, service was a bit slow to get our coffee. 5/5 visited in October 2016

Hotel - 3 stars Service - 5 stars…read more Adequate small boutique hotel about 15 minutes driving outside of town center. The rooms were not anything special. We had a suite with a bedroom, living room bathroom. The window in the living room did not open but the one in the bedroom did. No USB outlets so we bought an electrical adapter with 3 USB plugs. They gave us 2 twin beds that were pushed together. The beds were very comfortable and firm. The water pressure was a bit low and the bath tub required you to raise your legs about 2 feet to enter. Not conducive for the elderly or handicapped. The entire suit had 1 trash can and no tissues. Pro Tip: The entrance has about 5 steps up so you need to use the elevator on the right side of the entrance to bring up your luggage. However, you need to enter the lobby and send the elevator down to the street level. Or you can ask the front desk clerk to help you with that. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were magnificent. A big shout out to Maria and Mariam in the lounge. Super friendly and professional. Each glass of wine comes with a tapas and the prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is $15/ person. Nothing special. Typical eggs, small array of hams and cheeses, some parries, bread and espresso/ coffee machines. I would save the $15 and spend it on better food outside the hotel. Overall very good experience. We would stay there again. Happy Traveling!!

Got a last-minute room here when our Airbnb was not meeting our standards for cleanliness. Overall,…read moreit's a pretty low frail hotel, but it was clean and quiet and the room was pretty large in my opinion (keep in mind I'm from New York, so maybe two others it isn't a large room). Price wasn't bad and they had a cute little pool on the roof. Front desk staff are very nice and spoke English. the location definitely is an extremely central to all stuff in Valencia that you may want to do but walkable or a quick taxi ride to everything.

5 Stars - A Gem in Valencia! What a great experience we had…read moreat this hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating -- truly on par with what I've experienced at the Waldorf in Rome and Amsterdam, and in some ways, even better. Our room was on the smaller side (a standard room), but it was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were just right. What really set this stay apart was the attentiveness and warmth of the staff -- they made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, tucked into a lovely part of Valencia with easy walking access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. When I return to Valencia, this will be one of the first hotels I check for availability. Highly recommended.

Specifically Chiara, she and the rest of the staff are continuously trying to deceive guests by vague pricing and vague descriptions of rooms. I was charged €184 for only a few pieces of laundry. Chiara literally told me it was my fault for not knowing the prices, even though they required a document to fill out for the laundry, because I didn't do it, they filled it out for me and charged me a ridiculous amount. Meanwhile as I'm arguing the charges, there's an older couple next to me that is arguing that they booked a room with a balcony, Chiara said to them that not all rooms have a balcony and even though it has a picture on the reservation doesn't mean they will get the room they want. This place will deceive you and cheat you out of money. Don't go.

The hotel staff is friendly, accommodating, and extremely helpful. The rooms: Fairly self service but they're a unique departure from your standard hotel room and are beautifully acclimated to the environment. No fridge or ice or vending, but it would be a disservice to have these amenities as it would conflict with the aesthetic. There is AC and plenty of markets around the corner for your needs. The location: Ideal. Literally around the corner from Plaza de Virgen but you'd never know it as the hotel itself is quiet and discretely tucked away. Great walking city so location is a must and I felt consistently that Ad Hoc Carmen was an ideal starting and ending place for seeing the most of the city. Hundreds of great restaurants - Pappardella was a favorite. The staff: Friendly and super helpful. Personalized experiences where they help you to make the most out of your time in Valencia. Esther era mi favorita - tan linda y amable - gracias por ayudarme a hacer un video!

Also, the price is right particularly given the location. Staff were pleasant but very reserved. The beds were euro style (two singles combined into one) and the showers delivered a good stream. The rooms were basic and there was some odor from the bathrooms almost like sewer gases. I would stay again.
