While there, family members raised concerns that she might have a UTI after observing a significant change in her alertness and condition. We were told a urine specimen could not be sent on Sunday and would be handled Monday. On Monday, the day-shift nurse was unaware of the concern, and we were then told the lab pickup had already occurred and the specimen would have to wait until Tuesday. Our family insisted that a specimen be collected. By Tuesday--more than 48 hours after we first raised the concern--we insisted that Mom be sent to the hospital. She was diagnosed with a UTI and remained hospitalized for 9 days, it took 3 antibiotics to clear the infection. We also have serious concerns about the accuracy of her rehabilitation documentation. Facility records document speech and physical therapy on August 31, including a bedside speech session and extensive physical exercises. A family member was continuously with Mom beginning at 10:04 a.m. that day and did not observe those documented services. The facility's own "Recent Encounters" record also does not list an August 31 PT encounter, despite a separate detailed PT treatment note bearing that date. We have requested that these discrepancies be formally investigated. There were other troubling incidents. Shortly after admission, Mom was found wearing a nightgown labeled with another resident's name. Later, we witnessed a staff member enter Mom's room and address her roommate as though the roommate were our mother. We removed Mom from this facility and would not place her there again. Based on our family's experience, we believe families considering this facility should ask detailed questions about nursing communication, infection response, resident identification, rehabilitation services, and how treatment is documented.

The two lovely ladies at the front desk were calm, collected, welcoming, and professional. The wait was not too bad. They were able to get everyone in and out within an hour and a half. There was roughly 7 or 8 people who had come in and gone since my visit. I required an EKG and chest X-ray. The young lady who first visited me was professional and reassured me along the whole process. Despite having to undress, she made me feel comfortable, which to me is a big deal! The doctor was wonderful! I wish I had caught her name. She was very detailed in her check up. She was attentive and gentle, she asked many questions, even about preexisting injury's or health concerns to ensure all the information was accurate. If you have an injury, I highly recommend coming here ! 10/10

I was very concerned that he would not Want me after receiving a bottle. Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.

Candace is one of the best nurses I've ever encountered. I've been to many care facilities, but she stands out for going above and beyond in every way. Lea is also an exceptional amputee PT director and a true leader. She deserves a well-earned raise and promotion--her professionalism and care should be a model for all other rehab rehabilitation facilities The facilities are outstanding, and Elvira and her team are incredible. The physical therapy team is top-notch--I've never experienced anything like it. interim healthcare told me if one of their caregivers did not work out they would get me a backup…read moreperson which they did not. let me go over some things that were discussed at or shortly after my initial discussion with Andrea. one thing Andrea did not discuss is having the care giver cleaning poo or doodoo or shit.that was not on Andreas list and that was number one on my list. my problem is not being taken care of by cleaning me up when I go poo and since Andrea charges about 11 dollars per hour more than I am paying, I want to be assured that this poo is taken care of because a lot of hospital people even at advent hospital make me wait 10 hours on a few occasions and that is with a lot of complaining to even nurse supervisors . Niki working for interim healthcare on wednesday and Thursday only cleaned me 50 percent. this person whose name is possibly Ruth whom would not show me a drivers license at the request of Andrea asked to leave early on Saturday.she could sense I was getting ready to take a poo and 10 minutes after she left I took a big poo. I was a bit worried if she could push me to my side . I did askm Andrea for a larger stronger person which Andrea did not listen to my request to me and gave me 120 pound weak person that lacks strength. when Ruth came in Sunday she said shee cannot turn me to my side and said Nikki is in the neighborhood and she can help. Nikki did not show up and Andrea called me to say no one in her co can turn me over and I should go find another agency.ihave spent 10 hours in poo and all Andrea can say is go find another agency.i had to wait several hours to get my nighttime nurse to show up. interim healthcare did not attempt to help and when their caregiver with no experience working at all with interim healthcare when Ruth saw my big poo she looked terrified. it turned out she is studying to be a pediatric care giver and quit on the spot when she saw that big doodoo. Andrea talks like a big shot from New York but all she gave me was a big rash on my butt. she did not supply the emergency help I needed. Andrea is also unwilling to put the door up that was knocked down by her employee.
