Title: Baptist Health Primary Care: Where Low Expectations Go to Die…read more I went into Baptist Health Primary Care with realistic expectations - I mean, we're #37 in healthcare globally (thanks, World Health Organization) - so, you know, not exactly expecting the Ritz-Carlton of healthcare experiences. I just needed my cholesterol checked and my prescription renewed, which, by the way, my insurance (thanks, Cigna!) covers as "preventative care." But apparently, at Baptist, "preventative" means "prepare to be fleeced." My "appointment" with the doctor lasted maybe 10 minutes. He shook my hand to bolt out the door before even doing the standard chest-listening routine - because apparently, even the theatrics of care are too much effort. Then came the kicker: they mis-coded it, and Cigna kicked back the $400 charge. For ten minutes of this clown's time. Now I'm getting bills with no way to talk to anyone from Baptist about it. They hand you off to a billing company that literally has a pre-recorded message telling you they can't help you before you even get a person on the line. They say, "Call the doctor directly." So I did - and guess what? Clueless. Complete shoulder-shrugging. But I have figured out a solution - call it "arbitration" if you will. I sent them 10 percent of the bill. In my mind, this was a $40 job, and that's what I paid. I figure, if I take 10 minutes of this guy's day, I'm not paying him four times what I'd tip a barista. So, Baptist Health, you've been informed - consider this my formal response. If you have an issue with my math, hit me up here on Yelp.

Refused to take me as a Walk-In Patient to help resolve the issueI I had to go to another Urgent Care just to get a simple Prescription Refill. All of this while in PAIN. I will be filing a Formal Complaint with Baptist Health.

I wish I could give zero stars! I would strongly caution…read moreanyone considering working with Galina/P3 based on my experience. I paid $6,000 for maternity care and only attended three appointments before deciding to transfer to another provider. After leaving, I requested a refund minus the cost of the care I actually received, which I felt was a reasonable request. Initially, I was offered only a $1,000 refund, which I did not feel reflected the limited services that were provided. After nearly two years of back-and-forth communication trying to resolve the situation, Galina eventually agreed to refund $3,000. However, despite that agreement, the refund was never actually provided. Over the course of this process I repeatedly followed up politely by email asking for updates or a timeline, but the situation was never resolved. Meanwhile, I had to seek care elsewhere and even pay out of pocket for emergency care through another provider. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I paid $6,000 and after months of trying to resolve things respectfully, I was left without the agreed refund and with very little care provided.

So, when I moved to the keys I had hoped to find that here and instead I was met with the worst service ever. Things were looking up when I had a short wait time in the waiting area and was able to get moved to an exam room quickly where my vitals were checked...but it was all downhill after that. On these two separate occasions I had to wait 45 minutes to see a doctor and both times I had to get out of the exam room to ask for a doctor because it seemed as though they had completely forgotten I was there. Then, both times I had different male doctors which did not bother me except for when they were telling me that being on birth control is not my body's natural state. Then when I explained why I was on the birth control (bad PMS issues) they responded with unprofessional looks and had to leave to get a female OBGYN to finish the conversation with me. Later, they would not refill my birth control pills and I would have to call the center once a month and ask them if I could get on a constant refill basis (every time I asked this they would say yes) but sure enough come the next month I would have to ask again. The one star they earned was for their nice nurses and great secretarial staff along with the once nice female OBGYN. I will be looking for a new care provider immediately.
