Prior to finding Paws of Love I searched all of Miami for one, admittedly, I even checked puppy shops and ended up being horrified by them. When I stumbled across her website I knew that I had to reach out for more information. She set up a phone call with me after I provided my contact info and I knew from that first conversation how much passion and love she has for golden doodles. She shared so much information with me and made me feel so comfortable, that day we set up a date for me to go meet her at her home and the Mom and Dad of my soon to be Madeline. The experience was wonderful and I then committed to buying through her. Throughout the entire process she was in communication with me and sent me regular updates even prior to the due date. After the litter was born she sent regular pictures and videos of their progress and even sent "pawtography" photos. I knew my new puppy was in great hands. Sandra went above and beyond, she even took care of Madeline for a few extra days for me since I was on a work trip on the "take home" day. After Madeline came home she was always available to answer my questions and provided me with the tools I needed to be successful bringing a puppy into my home. I am forever grateful for the experience I had with Sandra and am so happy that I stumbled upon Paws of Love. I still keep in contact with her and she stays up to date with Madeline's and my adventures. I also want to add that Madeline is in great health and never had any issues that are common with puppies. We train, equip, and deploy, worldwide as necessary, personnel to assist local groups in animal rescue after disasters." I found out about this organization through a friend. She put together a volunteering event through Benevity on Cinco De Mayo (May 5th). A lot of us showed up to volunteer. Paula and Lloyd, who are the owners, were not expecting so many volunteers, so they were a bit shocked and did not know what to do. However, we were able to get a lot done. After Hurrican Irma, the property got destroyed a bit. Debris was everywhere. We got to help clear the porch area, clean the cages/crates, pressure clean the floor and outdoor cage areas. We also organized some tools and items into several bins. Some of us cut the grass by the porch with scissors so that it'd be easier to maneuver around for now. We really tried our best in making a dent during this volunteering event. We learned that they rescue wildlife animals and release them back to the wild. While taking of of the animals, they do not let them get used to human contact and affection, so that they will survive better in the wild. We got to see baby raccoons, a baby fox, a baby possum, a baby owl, baby birds, chickens, and few other animals. We learned that a lot of bird moms purposely leave their babies on the group for a few weeks so that they can learn to fend for themselves. However, a lot of people mistaken that the parents are purposely neglecting their kids, but they are not. So if you see baby birds on the floor, do not pick them up and do not assume that they are lost or neglected. It's really great to see what Paula and Lloyd are doing. They are truly genuinely good people who try to help the community on top of their full time jobs. They could definitely use all the help they can get. This is a great place to volunteer for. If you find an injured animal, contact them first before bringing them to the Wildlife Rescue location.

At half the price which included her second dose of vaccinations & a microchip, Appointment is not needed, however, be there before 8 am on the event day as there are people with not one but up to 4 cats per person waiting. If you have community cats you can trap them and take them to the meow mobile which will help the over population of stray and feral cats. They will either tattoo or clip the ear of the stray / feral cats so that if ever picked up they would know that cat has been spayed or neutered. Since ours is a pet they don't do that but make sure you write on the cat intake form and tell them when they check you in. I will update my review once I pick up my Nala this afternoon. Drop off is 8:00 and and they will advise you of the pick up time to which is usually between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. Keep in mind that they are able to provide this low cost service thanks to donations to the cat network. When I adopted my dog from Animal Services this year, she was dog reactive and difficult to walk on a leash. After my 6 sessions with ACA, Penny is an entirely different dog. My boy, Rex, is super smart and eager to please, but he is also a fast-growing and powerful animal, so I knew that I needed to be absolutely sure how to best handle him. I did a ton of research and completed a few evaluations at various training facilities before deciding to go with Rush K-9 Doral. They were definitely not the cheapest option, but I could tell from just the evaluation that they truly know what they are doing and that they genuinely care about the dogs they train. Now that Rex has graduated from their basic obedience course, I can say without hesitation that this investment was well worth every penny and then some! Rex is a different dog and I am a different handler, both for the better. He no longer pulls me on our walks and no longer barks, growls or lunges at strangers. He is much more attentive to me as his handler and much more responsive to commands. Best of all, the trainers at Rush K-9 helped me learn how to improve the bond between me and my dog.
