I ordered a floral delivery online today and the beautiful arrangement was delivered within about an hour! I will continue to support this wonderful local business in the future.

I had ordered funeral flowers From Avas Flowers 2 weeks prior to Jan 24, paid extra for Rush delivery, called to make sure they could arrive before services. Well they didn't. My Ex wife texted me saying no flowers here. I called the CS line . 2 hours trying to get answers. Nothing. Demanded refund. Got this florist here from Ex wife, said maybe send to home of living spouse. So I called 3:36 pm. Explained my dilemma, without me even thinking about having them delivered within a hour . Frankly next week was my expectation. Nice woman said tell me how much ya wanna spend and we will get these there in a hour. Holy F? Really? Gave CC. She sent pic of arrangement when done and delivered them. I heard that it was a big surprise and Spouse was very happy. That's how American businesses were built ! Service, integrity,quality, work ethic, appreciation and dedication. Obviously I live far away from here, but if I was a local? We visited friends in Redding for a birthday celebration. Found this place through Yelp. We walked in & were greeted with friendly smiles. Lots of green plants. Fresh flowers were not available for selection. But, the florist and staff showed several pre-made flower arrangements. They're very accommodating; and, we got what requested, white colored flowers. Then, I saw white Dalia and asked to add onto the bouquet. The florist said the Dalia would not be charged since it had been opened for 4-5 days. It came out Amazing!! Thank you for the beautiful flowers!!

I called in to request flowers for a celebration of life on Friday morning. Received a call back within the hour. Great customer service taking my order. The flowers were delivered before noon on the following day. They were absolutely beautiful. By far the nicest bouquets I've ever ordered. And $10 delivery fee to walk my delivery less than 5 minutes away from their location? No thanks. I LOVE Floranthropist. I didn't know about them until I began seeing arrangements arrive when a coworker had a family tragedy occur. I immediately said, "where are these from?!" I had only seen traditional and boring arrangements since moving to Redding in 2008 prior to this. These flowers were contemporary and unusual and special and "farmhousey" sometimes. I immediately asked my boss if we could start getting our weekly arrangements from Katie at Floranthropist instead of the same one we had been using for years. We made the switch and every week I can't wait to see what she has in store for us. I would never use another florist in Redding. Simply the Best. read more

We had two daughters get married this past September. Eeek!! They were two totally different settings, one being a couple hours away. Katie was absolutely fabulous. The flowers for both weddings were breathtaking, original and such quality. Katie is a true artist with flowers in her hands, instead of a paintbrush. She had us choose the main color and put together a Pinterest board, so we could go back and forth with my daughter who did not live here. She recommended greens and flowers that were readily available for the season, asked the brides what type of bouquet they wanted, and then came up with beautiful designs for them. She was so accommodating and willing to work with us. She was even willing to transport the flowers to Granite Bay from Redding, to set things up for us. And on top of that, we needed a mirror to go over a fireplace in one reception and she walked over and took one off her wall. She told us she didn't care if she got it back. It is still sitting in my garage, waiting to be taken back to her. (Sorry, Katie!) I won't use anyone else for flowers, any more. There is no one in town that can touch her. read more

As a man, I've always been taught you should find and keep three things when you move to a new place: A good mechanic, a barber, and a florist. My wife is super picky with flowers, and when we moved to Redding, I was worried I wouldn't find one that had the style she liked. Man, am I happy to be wrong. Katie and her crew are total pro's, and use all kinds of unique textures and plant things I don't really understand or appreciate but my wife absolutely loves them. They're service is awesome and they've always been super responsive. Can't say enough good things. read more

I had a great experience with Floranthropist. After many unsuccessful attempts to locate a florist I trusted to deliver flowers to a friend in a rural area outside Redding, I was able to connect with Katie to discuss my order. Being out of the area, it was helpful to have a live conversation to convey my request rather than to order online and hope for the best. She was able to direct me to photos of some examples to select from, and we ended up with a gorgeous arrangement that my friend loved. Highly recommend the Floranthropist! Katie supplied the florals for my wedding, and I could not have been happier or more impressed. I talked with a lot of florists at the start of wedding planning; Katie instantly met all that I was looking for in a florist: * Provided expert recommendations based on what was in season and my wedding colors. Katie saw my wedding colors and instantly had ideas -- cafe ole dahlias, burgundy scabiosa, peach stock and much more! Gorgeous! *The flowers are sourced in California *She's just a fun great person to work with. My one ask was pink jasmine, but it turned out that the vine doesn't tend to bloom into August. Katie went ahead and ordered the leafy vines. Amazingly they came in with blooms, and I got my pink jasmine for the wedding! It was just perfect. Katie definitely has a customer for life. I just ordered some flowers for a family member and know it is only one of many repeat purchases to come. read more

Wow. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my future daughter in law who was having surgery. Unbeknownst to me, I had by then left for Europe, her hospital was changed--they tried to deliver it but had no idea where to go when she wasn't at original location. Floranthropist tried numerous times to get hold of me, but to no avail. I called today now that I'm back in the US (5 weeks later) to see if there was any way I might get a discount on "better late than never" flowers--it was my fault I didn't leave a back up plan! I was greeted with a "I'm so glad you called" and offered a refund or a new bouquet delivery. Wow! What wonderful service! They couldn't be friendlier or more caring. Next time I go to Redding I'll stop by and buy something, anything! And tomorrow, my daughter in law will get a birthday bouquet, at no extra charge. That's service you just don't see very often anymore. read more

The floranthropist runs a beautiful business! Her flower arrangements are the flowers of dreams. She combines the best of natural, local beauty with incredible florist flowers. Some of her arrangements have the stunning quality of a renaissance still life, others the ethereal beauty of a wildflower bouquet. I love the little touches like burlap on the vases and the simple beautiful cards that are placed with each arrangement. Highly recommend! read more

I just had the most amazing flowers done by them for my grandpa's funeral. I told them what I was looking for and my price range. They even went above and beyond to find blue flowers because that was his favorite color. They delivered them to the funeral home and had them there and set up before anyone even showed up. It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about. I would highly recommend them to anyone for all your flower needs read more

I had Floranthropist send some flowers to a friend in the hospital. He went home a little earlier than expected, but the delivery person called me to get the address and had no problem going to the second location. She was so kind. My friend texted me after the delivery saying "the flowers were stunning". She also sent me a picture of them and they were indeed stunning! Our son lives out of state but uses this florist to send me flowers. They are always breathtaking bouquets with super fresh, beautiful and unusual flowers that are artfully arranged. This place is not your average florist with average bouquet, the bouquets are long lasting and memorable! read more

What a great surprise to find a business that caters to their customers. We spoke with Kate, who designed the most beautiful arrangement for our Aunt and it was in her hospital room within two hours. So happy that we didn't settle for less. A huge step up from the chain florists. read more

Went in to buy flowers for my mom's funeral. Looked through catalogs and couldn't find what we wanted so the owner drew up designs of arrangements. The 2 arrangements looked nothing like we talked about and paid for. We paid far too much for what we received!!! read more
