Huh? They explained that they would do their best but I asked for a refund instead. Apparently there was a website issue that allowed the purchase to go through but shouldn't have. Disappointed and frustrated, I placed a last minute birthday order with a large corporation and tried to put the matter behind me. Well color me surprised when the Flowers & Fancies team sent me an arrangement to apologize for the error. I was shocked, surprised, and necessarily reminded that mistakes happen and it's best to have patience and understanding, especially for local, well meaning businesses. Given that vendors often try to double as event planners (especially caterers, venues, and DJs), Diana had the difficult job of coordinating the coordinators. She did so with aplomb: building positive relationships with the other vendors, soliciting input on the master schedule, maintaining flexibility, and helping cultivate a sense of joy on the big day. She could easily charge double or triple for her services. Diana helped with the following decisions and more: creating a floor plan, hiring transportation for the wedding day (we used three vendors: a hotel shuttle, an all-purpose van, and a limo), hiring and negotiating a better rate for drapes, brainstorming ideas, communicating with other vendors, buying small items that we forgot (tea candles, a car decorating kit, and a guest book), lending us some common wedding items (a ring pillow, candle holders, and a "bird cage" for gifts), delivering ribbons for the wedding cake, and creating a master schedule. We also appreciated that Diana was fine with the unusual gender roles in our planning process, as the groom handled most of the planning. We found that some vendors were quite sexist in this respect, but Diana was fine with communicating with both of us. In short, we can't emphasize enough how thankful we are for Diana's help.

The bill actually ended up at 111.00. When they were delivered my friend sent me a picture. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT. Scrawny daisies. No shape.. NOTHING like the picture!. I called, spoke to Jasmin. She saw what was sent and apologized. Offered a replacement the next day. GUARUNTEED they would be what I ordered, said they would use another florist. They arrived and the same lame arrangement with a few different flowers. No shape and not even close to what I spent 111.0 on from the SAME florist! I know that they think then sender will never see what is delivered. NOT THE CASE HERE! Both arrangements looked like someone took a hand of flowers and shoved them in a vase. I apologized to my friend after sending her a picture of what I had ordered. NO COMPARISON! My advice... DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! You're. Better off going to a grocery store and carrying your own flowers. This is NOT the first time this has happened, but rest assured it's the last!
