Florabel has found a new home and a new look at its Capitol Commons branch. We used to eat in Florabel a lot until it's Podium branch closed which is why when we saw it was open near our house we just had to try it. I entered Florabel a bit shocked and confused. Their décor was confusing and a bit off putting for my taste. I can't even describe it but it would be a clash between a Greek Plaza, a 70's disco lounge, and a modern designed restaurant. I didn't care much for the interior BUT the food was SPECTACULAR. They changed up their menu and leveled up on every level. One of my signs that a restaurant is good and based on their house bread which is served free at the beginning of the meal and let me tell you this is one of if not the BEST house bread I've ever had. I was seriously tempted just to eat the bread and nothing else, it's that good. The food at Florabel let me warn you now is EXPENSIVE, this is some real fancy ingredients coming at you but you're sure to get your money's worth because they make sure to get the best quality ingredients out there. What to order? EVERYTHING. From appetizers to mains to drinks to desserts, you can't go wrong. I fell in love with every single thing we got, and I cannot wait to come back. read more
