I spell happiness P-A-L-E-T-A-S! Paletas are the Mexican version of popsicles but are far more superior. It's more of a sugar, water & fruit combo. There's no ingredients you don't recognize. The rainbow of flavors makes one drool immediately. Did I make La Flor de Michoacán was my morning breakfast or afternoon snack!?! Yes, indeed it was. I'm a sucker for a coconut paleta but the strawberry mango layered paleta was mind blowing. The lady nicely would run through the flavors. There was a large freezer filled with tons of paleta deliciousness. The service was always friendly and quick. I never had to wait too long to order. The patio here is a gorgeous oasis for paleta devouring. There's a stunning fountain and iron white tables. I little escape in the hustle bustle of Downtown Tulum. Review based solely on paletas as we had nothing else. Well that was disappointing as I was really looking for it to be tasty. Ordered 4 different kinds to try and only the soursop was just ok. It's cheap and I would go back to maybe try their juice. read more

We came here 3 times while we were in Tulum for 6 days. When I tell you this place needs an extra star. It does!! The best cold pressed juice I've ever had and will have in my life!!! Something about the fruit in Mexico is just like divine or something. Even their cold coconuts that I took to go on our walk down the street shopping was the real deal! They have so many options from juices, smoothies, regular food, breakfast, to even a deep freezer at the front of the store with homemade Paletas (popsicles) and frozen chocolate covered bananas with sprinkles. Like you could stay here all day and eat like 5 or 6 items for a total of $10 usd and enjoy it all in the back in their lovely courtyard, vintage style patio. They offer free WiFi in that area so it's a plus you can connect, enjoy your treat, good conversations and listen to the trickling of the water fountain and chickens clucking in the back somewhere lol. It's so quaint but shaded which gives a nice breeze because it is so hot in Tulum! Come here. I swear you will make another trip. read more

I felt the very large selection was really quite impressive. The price per popsicle was a bit high compared to what we had just paid for an entire dinner at Antojitos la Chiapaneca. Super cute spot off Av Tulum where you can grab a paleta (popsicle) to save you from the sweltering heat. There's a wide variety of flavors to choose from so you're bound to find something you like. It was hard to choose just one since they all looked delicious! Space is pretty limited indoors so i'd recommend just grabbing a paleta and eating it while you're shopping along the road. For those that need a little rester, there's an outside courtyard where you can sit and take in the scenery. read more

The epic breakfast combo came with our stay at the hotel next door (Hotel Flor) SÓ DELICIOUS! The combo comes with choice of fresh juice, coffee (I chose cappuccino! yum) omelet ,toast,beans, and pastry. Tasty food ,great quality and lovely prices. Suuuuuuuuch a cute little place!! So happy we came here. It was HOT and humid in Tulum and there is no better way to cool off than with a paleta! I just started learning so my Spanish is pretty rocky, but the woman who helped us was so sweet and spoke English pretty well. She pointed to and listed off all of the flavors without us having to ask. I opted for the yogurt and fruit paleta and it was delicious! We took our treats and had a seat in the adorable patio and enjoyed them as we chatted and listened to an owl in a very nearby tree. We got a couple coffees to go and unfortunately they spilled everywhere in our rental because the take away cups weren't great. Nonetheless, I would absolutely recommend coming here if you are in the area! read more

Got to this place a bit after 8AM on a Wednesday (this morning) for some traditional Mexican bfast and coffee... Three of us ordered a regular coffee but only one came out; moreover, after pressing for the other coffees, the server told us they had ran out (at 840AM)??? Sugar, creamer, utensils, all brought at different times AND AFTER REPEATING OURSELVES... Food: Two of us ordered traditional bfast of chilaquiles, after having placed the order only ONE was served because they also "ran out". At this point I was just waiting for my people to be done so we could bounce, I went to OXXO where the selection and service is up to par. The rest of the food came out at different times as well, many people around us were PISSED OFF (we were all sharing the same experience). At least three people got up and LEFT, good for them! This place was on my list of places to check out. We both had a fresh juice. I had the Tulum and my boyfriend made his own combination with coco fresco mango and pineapple. We sat in the cute patio in the back and enjoyed our juices. So delicious and refreshing. We came back another night to try the paletas that I read about. (Ice pops) I tried the cookies and cream one, and once again it was delicious. I wish I came every night to try a different one. They have so many flavors to choose from. read more

We absolutely loved this place-- stopped by twice while in Tulum Pueblo, and once on our way back to the airport - it's conveniently located across the street from the ADO bus station and a cheap option for a cool down drink or dessert. The owners are super nice and helpful in explaining the plethora of options when it comes to their case full of paletas, aka fruit popsicles made with a variety of fresh fruit. We also enjoyed the agua frescas that are blended to order, including my favorite, watermelon. They can hack open a coconut for you and pour out the juice and scrape the coconut meat into a cup for a take-away drink. Super cute little garden in the back with a wrought iron gazebo and fairy lights if you'd rather enjoy your drink/dessert at the place. My friend said it reminded her of a Mexican version of Serendipity (in NYC). read more

This gelato spot is a gem. Located right next door to Antojitos la chiapaneca. They serve coffee, gelato and a variety of homemade fruit Popsicles that are all natural, refreshing and just heavenly. The perfect dessert on a hot balmy afternoon or evening. The lady who makes the Popsicles was lovely. We came back multiple times to, not only try a different kind, but ask her for referrals for restaurants in the area. I tried the mango & salsa Popsicle the first time and the yogurt, kiwi and strawberry Popsicle on my second trip in. There are a few tables in the front of the store to enjoy your treat, or better yet, go sit in the charming courtyard in the back. She's been open for 15 years. Best paleteria in Tulum, period! We went pretty much every day for paletas - fresca was my daughter'a favorite, my son loved the Oreo paletas (and also the regular ice cream), while my wife and I enjoyed the spicy mangoleta flavor. The lady behind the counter is wonderful and the paletas are made fresh each day right on site. Cannot beat that kind of freshness and flavor. read more
