It's been awhile since I had some gelato and we walked by two of these gelato shops and other gelato shops about a dozen times or so. It was the perfect stop on a hot summer day. The guys are the counter were great and the gelato was sweet, cold, and delicious. I ordered the Ferrero Rocher and my girlfriend ordered the strawberry cheesecake; both were great!
Delicious!!! Wow ! Awesome place !! We ask which place had the best ice cream - gelato in Tulum and they sent us to this place. Omg! Exquisite gelatos ! Unic flavors and ofc regulars flavors too. The place is small but they are really fast serving. You can try as many flavors you want but it's impossible to don't fall in love with banana Chocolate. All the gelatos are Mouthwatering !!! Just come here and see for yourself !
I think I just had high expectations. I ordered the chocolate ice cream because that's what I heard it was well-known for. The chocolate ice cream was good, but nothing extraordinary. It tasted like a generic Baskin Robins chocolate ice cream cone. It had the same super sugary sweetness to that of most regular US chocolate ice cream. I'd try a different flavor next time I visit. Get something new if you've already had US chocolate ice cream! You're in a different country anyway, might as well!
Very cute ice cream parlor in downtown Tulum area. Someone recommended this place, so we took our large party of 18 people here to enjoy ice cream, after we had dinner. There was a line, but the workers worked diligently to move the customers along. The shop is small, and not a place that you sit in. They had several different flavors of ice cream and different cones. The macaroons were not good, but the ice cream was pretty good. Id day almost everyone in our party was happy with their ice cream. I definitely enjoyed my selection and it was a nice way to end the night.
I am so sad I found out about this place my last night in Tulum. They had the BEST I mean BESTTTT Coconut ice cream and Dulce Leche I've ever had in my life!!!!! Omggg if I could I would go there everyday! FYI - get the cone. I'm usually a cup girl but I'm so happy I went with the cone. They taste amazing and it's actually durable. Will definitely be back for all my sweet tooth cravings! Afraid to walk with your ice cream? No problem there are bright yellow benches outside to enjoy your treat!

Small and narrow, twenty daily flavors arranged in front of a functional Chocolate studio, guests will find everything from Gingerbread to local Fruits imbuing a base not quite so smooth as Campanella, plus an assortment of novelties ranging from dipped-Cones to Cookies including a particularly enticing Alfajore. Featuring friendly service, plus limited outdoor seating, fans of Coconut will find Panna e Cioccolato's version pure without much Sugar, though those seeking something sweeter should consider Caramel a must while also considering Corn brightened by Honey or the Cookie-sandwich "Taco" dipped in Chocolate and Pistachios.
During my recent vacation in Tulum, I had bar hopping with my travel group. I am a true ice cream lover and coinnessure. I had an urge for a sweet savory treat but it was 9:45pm at night. I looked around using my trusty Yelp app and Panna e Cioccolato was the only establishment still open and within walking distance. I immediately walked over and was met with a long line that was heading outside the establishment. Granted, the business space is small, so it may seem overwhelming to see a line that long. But, nope it didn't deter me lol. The line went by fast. I ordered a small cup of cookies and cream. It was tasty, not as creamy as I would've liked. Overall, it took care of my craving but I've had better. I'd definitely return and try another flavor. Staff were very kind, spoke English and service was speedy. I also think the fact that they are open late is a plus! I'd definitely return and try another flavor if I am in Tulum again.
So it's 5000 degrees and I saw a line of people waiting outside this shop. The line went by fast and then it was my turn. The gentleman helping me was very polite and let me try the chocolate chile flavor. Ooooh yeah. It has a burn! I decided on ferrer Roche and cookies and was not disappointed. 2 scoops for 60 odd pesos. Not bad at all.
Highly recommend this gelato shop. Some of the best gelato I've tasted. We visited in the heat and let me tell you the cold gelato was so enjoyable and hit the spot. The prices are cheap too! I tried the lemon cake and mint on separate trips. I'm a lemon lover and mint fan, but between the two - mint took gold. We experienced friendly service each time we visited. Tip: on Wednesdays they offer BOGOs for single scoops. read more
A definite visit for me while visiting Tulum. I typically gravitate towards the pistachio flavored gelato, but last night visit I was feeling the mint and it was absolutely delishhh! Next visit I'll likely get the pistachio. I tried my best friend's lemon flavored gelato which I was hesitant about as I'm not huge on lemon and that's the best lemon flavored gelato I've had. It also had chunks of cake in it. Talk about kickin' that up a notch on the gelato game. Staff were friendly and patient with us while we made our selection. They even allowed us to try a new flavors before making our decision. It was so lovely to walk into this nice icebox and cool down. It was brightly light and inviting. I'll definitely be back for more visits during my time in Tulum. read more

Love it!!! Yummy yummy ice cream! Lots of flavors. Got the pistachio flavor and I forgot the other flavor. Quick service, great environment. It was a good stop for our night walk. I also ended up getting a magnet bc it was wayyyy cuter than the magnets I saw at every other souvenir store read more

Accidentally stumbled on this right now and omg so freaking delicious. I picked strawberries and mango flavors. So refreshing and big bold flavors. Only takes cash. We got three 2 scoops and total only cost $3.00. Make sure you try it. read more

Excellent service and delicious ice cream! On a hot day like today, it was nice to have some nice cold ice cream for our stroll. Upon entering, we were greeted with smiling faces and were able to sample multiple flavors before buying anything. There were a lot of interesting flavors like the dragon fruit and Baileys, but I went with the mango and vanilla. It was fantastic! read more

I had a delectable cone here at the beginning of my stay in Tulum and vowed to go back before my trip was over. Somehow I was never able to and I'm still regretting it. There are two locations on the main strip in Tulum, pretty close to each other actually, and close to lots of the local restaurants so it's a perfect choice for dessert after your dinner. The staff is very generous with flavor samples as well as their scooping. I got a huge cheesecake flavored cone after ordering the smallest size. I'm still dreaming about that damn cheesecake gelato!! Don't be turned off by the somewhat obnoxious branded car they have driving around broadcasting ads about the store. Once you step into the monkey-themed space and have a taste of the frozen deliciousness that awaits inside, all will be forgiven. read more
Wow one of my favorite parts of my one day trip to Tulum (and believe me there was a lot of great things happened that day). I'll keep this short - do yourself a favor and stop here before you head back to the bus station. Convenient location, good service, and boy the ice cream... This is a chain that serves a Great ice cream selection. With 2 conveniently located places in downtown Tulum strip - it makes for a must stop for ice cream cone when you are out and about in the sweltering heat of Tulum. The store across from the town square is my favorite of the 2 downtown locations. For no specific reason as such. They carry some really fun flavors and are super duper cheap to boot. I don't have a favorite flavor when it comes to ice creams. But this place really had some flavors that I had never come across anywhere in North America at least. Talk about Nocaola, Giotta, Mamey, Guanabana. They all taste just as funky-good as they sound. I am not an ice cream in cup kinda guy. So I really appreciated the fact that you get an ultra crisp waffle cone at no extra cost. The U.S. chains should take notes - I would be getting more ice cream on the go than I usually do. The staff at both the stores are really nice. Very warm and courteous - they make this simpler experiences of being out and about such a joyful one. Also - if you want only one scoop, they never turn the pushy button on - reminding you that the second scoop is for 15 pesos extra only. I like when retailers trust their customers to choose what they want. This is my kinda place! read more
