Love the store and products…read more Mike, the salesman is a deterrent. He bombards you with his political beliefs, his enjoyment of shooting, the reasons he left New York (he didn't want to live with their ammunition limits) and the projects he has going on at his property. The most recent visit we were trying to order new cabinetry for a kitchen remodel. After I declined his offer to go in the back room to look at the cabinets he bought for his kitchen he got rude. He was so unhelpful and condescending-He didn't want to help with the layout, he didn't want to give me a visual rendering and finally said he would pass me off and they MIGHT be willing to give a rendering but only one. We took our business elsewhere and spent more money on cabinetry to avoid the hassle of dealing with him. Right on the desk it says they help design. What's the problem? He's rude. He makes me uncomfortable.

We use them mainly for the cabinetry. They have several difference option on the stains and designs. They mainly deal with contractors and condo renovators, so they do not delivery. It is pick up for yourself only. But there is a UHAUL rental right down the road, which rents trucks for about 25-30 a day. Bottom line, you can get good quality cabinets cheaper than pretty much anywhere else around town, but it more of a do-it yourself-er place.

We called them to remodel master bathroom. Natalia & Robert (Contractor) came to the house to look…read moreat project and then we went into Pro-tops & picked out counters/cabinets, received our estimate and we agreed on price & start date. Natalia set up text with herself, Robert & myself. TILE: Robert suggested we go to Flour & Décor; we went there & had a horrible experience. I tell Robert about the experience at Flour & Décor he said "Well you should have gone to the ProDesk" Why did you NOT tell us that before we went. PAINT: told to pick out paint color we go Lowes & get color & I tell Robert paint we want & he states they only use Sherman Williams Paint from their store so we wasted our time. He said to rehang accessories is NOT in the contract. I asked him to hang mirrors & he agreed but said "Customers always want things for free". My husband hung all other accessories. Robert is contractor but he subs out to Daniel which in turn subs out his work mostly to Spanish speaking people which was hard to communicate. During project saw Robert about 3 hours total & Daniel maybe 6 hours total. The Electrician put a NON GFI outlet which is not straight by sink & the other outlet he put high up so cover does not fit. I told Robert about the outlet; Electrician came back & fixed it & put GFI by sink. The drywall guy comes & leaves my windows open in bathroom & leaves out the back door with all the gates open & does not notify me. Between him & Electrician leaving a huge mess on floor. I complained & Robert said "Well that is the way a construction site is". The next week the Plumer was supposed to show up & no show so I text Robert & his response was things happen so my hubby came home from work for nothing. Next was Gus tile guy with his men & tile and shower came out great. He was a no show one day. Next up cabinets were installed but counters the holes not correct so Natalia ordered new counters & they were switched very quickly. Then painters showed up & they worked hard getting that bathroom into shape. We did have a problem with a wall & the corner trim was pulling up the paint I texted Robert and he never texted me back but painters showed without notice which I was not available so they came the back next day. The painters hung the lights, painted walls, baseboards & hung the mirrors. Robert shows for a total of 10 minutes & took a few pictures & left & never heard from him again. NO one did a final walk through in which if they did would have realized that inside marble on step of shower had not been caulked & beyond wall by the shower where the counter ended is an opening. They put flat paint on all walls & it already dirty & not using that bathroom yet all you have to do is lean against it & it leaves a mark. When Natalia was here collecting money, I asked her why bathroom was painted in flat paint & she said she never heard of that either. Robert told her he would NOT repaint the bathroom. Pro-tops are responsible because that is who the contract is with. I just want everyone to know what kind of service you will get when you when you remodel with this team. Natalia said she wanted her field manager to come to look over everything but no one has gotten back to me yet. As for Robert the way he does business I do not care for & if something is wrong you fix it and make it right, period! If you want to remodel, I would make sure it is not his team because he really will have no interest in your job. Robert was hardly around during project & his communication was lacking in sometimes no texts back, calls or one-word answers. In the end the project came out beautiful with the help of the Tile Store in Matthews, Natalia for being kind and professional, Tile installers (Gus and his people) & painters (they did a lot of work getting those walls ready). Also, to my hubby, who now has to repaint the entire bathroom in semi-gloss because they refuse to repaint it. I had to shorten this due to character limitations for Google Review and everything is not in full sentences due to that. They go by two different names. So be sure to look under Pro-tops when looking up this company. I only looked up Complete Kitchen and Bath by Pro-tops and people are leaving reviews under Pro-tops.

An excellent solution for my two ugly frameless bath mirrors, which measured 4' by 6' and would…read morehave cost $750 each to replace. One factor to consider is the possible need to remove the mirror for redecorating or drywall reconstruction, as was the case for us after Hurricane Helene. Once the frame is on, the mirror cannot be remoced without removing the frame first. As such, we had to reinstall the frame onto the mirror once our restoration was complete. MirrorMate provided excesllent assistance in this, giving us a new set of adhesive tape and positioning blocks at no cost, not even for shipping. But it is a thought worth considering, if you foresee ever having to remove the mirror for any reason after the frame goes on.

MirrorMate Frame - Buyer Beware. Not What You Order Is Not What You Get…read moreHere's what you can expect: * They may change the frame dimensions you ordered--without explanation or notification. * Poor customer service when something goes wrong. * Frames made of MDF material, which does not tolerate moisture (even light dampness can cause swelling). I had previously ordered a frame from this company a couple of years ago with no issues. Knowing the product is made from MDF, I installed that one in a dry area. This time, I wanted a matching frame for a hall bath that sees minimal moisture and had just been redecorated. The measuring process is straightforward (or so it seems): A. Measure the mirror width (same applies to height). B. Add extra width so the mirror edge is covered. They recommend 5/8" per side (1 ¼" total). I chose 1/2" per side for a slightly tighter look. C. Enter the dimensions into their order form. Simple enough. However, there's a new and poorly explained graphic at the bottom of the order form asking whether the mirror runs across the back of the vanity. Since mine does, I checked it. Here's where things go off the rails: If you check that box, they may override your measurements and change the frame size--without telling you. I reviewed my order confirmation carefully. The dimensions, price, and style were all correct. No indication whatsoever that anything would be altered. When the shipment arrived, I followed their instructions: inspected the box, checked the frame components, and reviewed the invoice. Everything still showed the dimensions I had ordered. At no point--before or after delivery--did they disclose that the frame had been resized. After assembling the frame and bringing it to the mirror, it was immediately obvious: the width was short. Not even close to what I ordered. I contacted customer service within their required 3-day window. Their response? Since I checked that graphic, they assumed my mirror ran edge-to-edge and decided to cut the frame to mirror width--completely ignoring the dimensions I provided. That assumption is flat-out wrong. Not all mirrors are installed edge-to-edge, and more importantly, you don't get to change a customer's order based on a guess--especially without explaining it or notifying them. Even more frustrating, they continued to show my original dimensions on both the order confirmation and the invoice. Nowhere did they document the change they made. My position is simple: they made an error and should replace the frame with the correct dimensions. Instead, they've taken the stance that it's my fault for checking an unclear graphic and have refused to make it right. End result: I'm stuck with a frame that's useless for my application. Final takeaway: If you order from this company, don't assume you'll receive what you actually ordered. And remember--this is MDF, so moisture (even minimal) is not your friend. You've been warned. Proceed accordingly... or better yet, look elsewhere.
