I have been SO IMPRESSED with everything from our initial conversation with Luis to his crew and their quality of work. They have the highest standards and have done such an amazing job. They show up on time and work throughout the day. They are so kind and polite. I happen to be working at the other end of the house and they have no issue when I need to walk through. I trust them in my home if I need to step away. The drywall work alone looks amazing. Then the painting of a lot of room sin the house. This crew works hard and stays on task. Luis checks in on them and checks in with us too. They have provided suggestions and shown us pictures to give us ideas of changes we may want to change. When there was a paint issue, they said no problem and were able to get the colors for us. They are getting ready to start working on the floors. I had requested tat they do it on a Friday, since we would need to be out of the house, and they honored my request with no issue. I have a bunch of other jobs that I plan to hire them to do once this big one is completed. I could not recommend them more!

That being said, their selection is extensive, and after visiting the store, I didn't even end up using Oceanside because I found so many other options. Meaghan Phelps was the person who helped me, and she was amazing. In the end, with her help I picked out a nice large format linen-textured tile, accented with a nice bamboo-inspired mosaic glass tile. Meaghan was awesome in providing some design sketches, and together with my contractor she helped make a great shower!

My builder used Stocco for the flooring in my brand new home. While the guys who have come out have…read morebeen nice, I would not recommend this company. The tile in my master bath was several shades of grout color and they came out several times to try to fix it. The final time coming to dig it the grout to start over. I wish I'd never let that happen. There are scratches all over so so many of my tiles. They came back to "fix" that and just put something over the scratches that not only didn't repair the scratches but just made my tile look dirty. I've basically been told about the tile that it looks fine. But this is not what brand new tile looks like. The vinyl in my laundry room is bubbly and they've already been out twice but it is still bubbly. The carpet in my master needs to be stretched. The carpet in my loft area had to be stretched. Sounds like some have had a good experience. I definitely haven't and am left with flooring that doesn't belong in a brand new home.

We did a LOT of research and interviews before hiring them and they did not disappoint! They have excellent communication and are very responsive to every question and concern no matter how big or small. They are punctual and follow through on what they say. They have the ability to help you with selections with the freedom of letting you decide what's best for your space and budget. They do quality work and pay attention to details. They truly care about making sure their customers happy and made sure every aspect of our job was done exactly how we wanted it. They have very reasonable prices and a wide variety of flooring options to meet any preference and budget. They even met with us after hours to help us with a selection and didn't make us feel pressured at all! The installers were very respectful of our home and made sure they cleaned up after themselves every day. We needed a bathroom upgraded in an 80 plus year old home that did not work. The tub was cracked…read morethe plumbing was shot. I asked Chateau Sept Renovations to come out and provide a quote and to explain if the bathroom had any potential. Jose came out like the next day (IMPRESSIVE)! He explained what needed to be done, how long the job should take (unless they ran into issues with the home being this old) and all we needed to do is pick a day when they could get started. Since I did not have a clue as to what I was doing, I gave Chateau Sept Renovations, full control over renovating the bathroom. What I mean by that is they picked the tile and the flooring; we picked the paint. Even with authorizing them to create at will, Jose still sent several pictures of flooring and tile to ensure we were included in the process and to make us feel like we were truly getting what we wanted. When the project started, Jose and Matt came out to get everything in order. Products, materials and supplies started arriving at my home, so Jose and Matt created a staging area in the front of the house (my living room) ONLY because the day the project started a storm popped up and I mean it was storming. Although the interior of my home was used as a storage area, they covered the floor and everything around the supplies to ensure my carpet and furniture was protected. As the project progressed, Matt treated my home as if it were his own. When he didn't like how something turned out, he wouldn't leave until it was done the way he thought it should look based on what we requested. I mean the attention to detail surpassed my expectation. An example of that would be when the paint dried, he did not like how the dry wall appeared so the section he had a problem with, he sanded and painted again. I thought the room looked wonderful, but it was not where he wanted it to be. When a contractor takes that kind of pride in his work, then I will always use them in the future. My house is over 80 years old so they took their time to understand the potential problems with upgrading a house that old. Matt and Jose were transparent when they advised the potential problems when renovating older homes. They were correct, we ran into an issue with the plumbing and like professionals, they advised us of the issues, developed a plan and executed without even delaying the completion. It was certainly one of the best experiences I've had regarding contract work in a very long time. I will certainly use them for all my contracting needs.

I was very apprehensive going into this project but Jose was there every step of the way. He helped us with everything from deciding the layout of every room right down to the end when the last doorstop was installed. Jose was a joy to work with, even when we threw some ridiculous requests his way. He never said "I can't do that." Instead he would say "Sure thing. Let me figure out a way that I can do that for you." If you are thinking of doing any kind of home renovation, do yourself a favor and call Jose first.
