Got an initial quote, and chose different flooring. Requested an updated quote and never received one. Paid for materials and labor, and was told we couldn't get an updated quote with labor listed even though the initial had labor listed. Nothing but problems. First the date of when we needed it done was a week off even though we explicitly explained when we needed the work done. Then there were issues with the baseboards painting not being listed. Also some of the materials not being in on time. At the end of the day we spent a lot of money and there was a lot of delay and miscommunication. I've never had so many issues with flooring in the past... The installers contracted were awesome, though. They did a fantastic job! read more

Crappy service. NOT THE INSTALLER, but the company. Waited almost a month for a flooring install in my kitchen & it was finally started on Friday. Not finished, however because warehouse shorted my order and coudn't get the materials delivered until the next day. The installer said he could come back on Saturday but I got a call from "Daniel" in scheduling who told me they would have someone back on Monday. Completey unacceptable. Baseboards were removed and a significant portion of the floor unfinished. Called back & asked for an explanation. Was transferred to a phone tree with no idea who I was suppose to talk to because Daniel just pawned me off. Ended up dealing with "Joe" who essentially blew smoke up my @$$ & said he would talk fo "Max". Joe advised I call back Saturday 4:30/5 if no one had called me about coming back out. Of course no one called me & @ 530 when I called Joe he, of course, was unavailable. Bob, the rep who answered the call couldn't help & said he would try to contact Max to clarify if someone was indeed coming back out today. OF COURSE Max could not be reached & Bob stated per email trail that he was viewing someone is supposed to come back Monday. Nothing but a run around & no resolution. Completely unprofessional. No apologies for the inconvenience. No consideration that a mistake was made on their end & that they needed to accommodate the customer. No one seemed to care at all. I've lost faith in Flooring Liquidators & they have lost a customer..not that they care. Beware! UPDATE: Jen in the main office swooped in & made everything better. If we could do it all over again... we would NOT go through them. The product was ok but the service was not. When the install day came is when it went bad. They started the installation at 7am but then they decided to leave a few hours after they started the install to go do other jobs but didn't come back to finish until around 7pm. Imb ytt/= ok to not complete our job during our scheduled time because I made fuuame nasty and basically told me oh well. Also, the installer guys went into our garage during the installation when we were not home and openedopenedb up another box of product that they were gnot installing without permission. You can't trust this company. I had an insurance restoration project after a huge flood in my kitchen, and the restoration company recommended these guys. I wish they hadn't. Flooring Liquidators told me that I would have to purchase with them, because purchasing anywhere else would incur a "big markup" in price. Later, I come to find out that this was a blatant lie to manipulate me into buying with their company. We have been trying to get flooring for over a month now and have been jerked around and given multiple different dates on when to expect flooring to be in stock that we have already paid for. We have had to call them to figure out what's going on. The first time we called we got a certain date of when our flooring would be in and then called to check in and make sure that that was still the case and then they told us that it got pushed back a couple weeks because it was on back order. Which once again WE HAD TO CALL THEM TO RECEIVE THAT UPDATE. Then just called today to check in and make sure the flooring that was promised to be here next week and the employee told us that it WONT BE HERE FOR ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. And once again we had to call them to receive any sort of update. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Would have much rather ordered through Sams Club and would have gotten it in a lot quicker. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Will NEVER come back here again. read more

Ease of appointment set-up and customer service on the phone were great. However, once I walked into the store things were a different story. I was told by the sales person on the phone there were wool carpets in stock. In the store the salesperson said they didn't have any wool. I also waited for ten minutes with my three small children without being approached by anyone. When I finally asked for help I was treated coldly and the salesperson couldn't be bothered to bring up my measurements or help me any further. Truly terrible customer service. My husband and I went and checked this place out and were not impressed with how dirty it was, but we were looking to save money so we gave it a try. We were looking at hardwood and carpet, and we quickly realized why they are called "Liquidators". 2nd rate products. We left frustrated. Our real estate agent suggested we go over to 3D floor covering in town, and wow, what a huge DIFFERENCE!! Quality products and lifetime warranties are exactly what we got with the hardwood and carpet we chose at 3D and less in cost!! I also noticed a review on here bad mouthing 3D... And I wonder if "Chad" is sure that the EXACT same product 3D quoted him for is the EXACT same product liquidators got him for 10k less... We purchased wood flooring, tile and carpet in 2016. Spent over $15k. I told the Associate we have 4 kids and a Labrador, so I needed the most durable products for an active household. We had 85% of a 2800sqft home done in the wood flooring including stairs. After only a couple months the stain on the wood easily scratched off showing extreme wear. Even putting covers on furniture bottoms it would scratch. It has been very disappointing to see a product that we were advised would accommodate our family to turn out to be such poor quality. A expensive purchase I wish I never made. It looked as if we lived in the house for several years after only a couple months with the wear and tear of the deep scratches showing and the removed top layer stain of the wood. A couple of the wood stairs cracked as well after a few months. I reported these issues and they waited months to finally come out to take a look and file a claim. The associate stated we had plenty of time to send in the claim. The Manager was supposed to come out too, but never did. The associate who came out agreed it was a bad batch of wood, would work with us and sent the claim to their corporate office. They denied our claim stating we waited too long , scratches happen and only use a chemical spray to clean the floors! I do not use chemicals in my house and use a slightly damp norwex( natural ) mop to clean the floors. They would not return our calls after denying the claim. I'm beyond disappointed with this company. read more

Poor Service. They are nice in person but have no follow up skills. An estimate that was promised to me over two weeks ago still never received. The store manager was the one that assisted us but when they failed to provide an estimate the first time we went back into the store. The manager advised he was off on Monday but would call us Tuesday morning with our estimate so we showed him what we wanted to use. Tuesday came still no call so I called him. He admitted he remembered us but still had no estimate prepared and even though we picked out the materials with him he had no idea what it was but would look into it and call me right back. He did call me back and advised they had been extremely busy with a warehouse move he advised Brandon the guy that did the measurement for us had never updated the change to laminate. Unfortunately this company doesn't want the new business enough to even pull an estimate together so I have let them know I would rather pay more money and deal with reliable service. I'm sure the manager wasn't lying they are moving the warehouse but that move exceeds the importance of new customers. I'll be going where the service is more consistently reliable. read more

Think twice before you come here! We ordered our flooring from here and we never got a courtesy call to notify us that it had arrived and was ready for pickup. When we called to check on it they said it was ready so we told them we were on our way to pickup and they ok'd. Upon arriving they said we needed to come back in 30 minutes since they had someone else arrive to pickup. When we went back the guy told us he couldn't help us load the flooring because of the kind of trailer we had which had a ramp so we would have to do it by hand without their help. This meant we had to load 1.5 pallets of poorly packaged laminate flooring that kept coming out of the boxes since it was boxed on one side and thin plastic on the other side. After that intensive work we still had about 12 boxes left in their stockroom which were at the very top of other pallets by the ceiling so he asked us to carry it by hand to the trailer. Even after letting him know we could get hurt he didn't care and continued to hand us down the boxes. I'm very disappointed, upon purchasing they told us they would be loading it for us for free. We had no idea we had to do the loading by hand. We Will never return here again, it's not worth spending a couple thousand dollars here. I would recommend to purchase your flooring with a company who cares. read more

Without a doubt the worst service I have received from any business ever. The scheduling with the installers is an absolute joke. They give you a few hour range of when they will show up and I was told they would call when they were on their way so that I could go home and meet them (as I work and can not afford to sit at home for three hours). I had called 2 days prior and the day prior to confirm that my appointment was still set and was assured that it was. Day of my appointment and my time window was up and I had not heard from anyone and nobody showed. They ended up being late which is totally fine I completely understand things happen, but if that's the case they should call and inform you. Installation was done on a Friday and I signed off on the carpet (not knowing what to look for after an installation), Saturday morning I walked in the room and the tack strip went straight into my foot so I called Monday to inform them and the response I got from Flooring Liquidators was "Well we didn't install the tack strip so there really isn't anything we can do, but I will make a call and see." Never heard back from anyone, called the next day spoke with Frankie the manager who said they could in fact take care of it and he would get a hold of the people and have it taken care of. I got an email from accounting a few days later because I still owed a balance so I explained to Jennifer was going on and she said repairs was her department and nobody had informed her of anything, so she had no idea and nothing was scheduled. She was great and scheduled it right away (This is a week and a half after install). Well again here I am today on my appointment day 10 minutes from my appointment window being up and no call from installers. So I call her and she said she would call them and see was going on and call me right back, I waited 40 minutes (I only had a certain gap of time that I could leave work to meet them, which was the appointment window I was given) and no call back. I called at least 15 times and she would not answer my calls, I called the Yuba City store to ask for the installers number so I could call him directly. I called Alex 15 times and no answer or call back. I finally get an answer and he informs me he showed up yesterday and no one was home so they just left (which was not my appointment day). At this point I am beyond frustrated and drive to the store to talk to someone and what they told me was the owner of the store was out of state because his father had cancer so his son was running things and they were having lots of problems with the son being in charge and the scheduling. And they then inform me that the installer called them and said he was on the way to my house before I arrived at the store (AGAIN NO ONE INFORMED ME OF THIS!) so I went home. Sat at home 30 minutes still no installer or phone call. He shows up and I complain and he says I told Jennifer and she said she was going to call and tell you I was coming. Their scheduling is a complete joke, their communication is terrible. And they don't seem to care if they inconvenience your work schedule or make it difficult for you. read more

Our experience at Flooring Liquidators was very good. The staff in the store was patient and helpful. They explained our options for new the new flooring we wanted. No pressure, and they gave us time to think. Brandon P. was great work with from start to finish. Once install came along, I was impressed. Max and his crew were on time and started ripping and cutting within minutes on day 1. They kept hustling until the job was done. By the end, my wife and I were THRILLED with the final product. flooring liquidators call me 10-25-2016(12:45 pm) were suppose to come and finish cutting floor and put a moulding strip across the door way.. they were to call me back, i waited all day long and i try to call them at 5:05 pm to see why they never called or show up to finish their work. they had put in carpet in the bedroom saturday(10-22-2016).. they are rude business to deal with..never pay in full before the work is finish.. very unhappy customer. read more
