Quick rundown: -CHEAP! They beat any other place that I could find by at least $1-$2 per square foot for my engineered wood flooring. The price was just $0.20 above my friends cost. That alone saved me thousands. -Discount for using check/cashier's check. More savings. -Service was excellent and my questions were answered promptly both by phone and e-mail. -Product shipped on-time as quoted. Cons: Shipping was a bit unorganized though I think that was the fault of the trucking company. It is still worth mentioning though since it's part of the whole buying experience. I was supposed to have a delivery date/time coordinated by the trucking company but didn't get a call until they were 3 blocks away. When the truck finally showed up after a quick reschedule, I was asked if I have a forklift. Crazy that I was fresh out on that day so I unloaded a few pallets myself. But someone less physically fit and/or without arms should definitely make sure they use a truck with a lift gate. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to order through them again. I had a kitchen flooring project, and suddenly discovered that we didn't have enough wood flooring. We didn't want to lose too many days, so I fervently began searching online for the exact wood. Local companies quoted a long lead-time. Somehow, I came across Floor Variety which was across the country. I called the phone number, and reached Sean. We spoke, and he said that he would check if he could find the wood. Sure enough, he called back a little later that day that he had cartons of wood that could leave CA the following day (or same day possibly). I then paid, and should have received the wood (2 days Fedex priority freight), but Fedex trucks couldn't make it through one of the worst Winters in modern memory. This was neither the floor company's fault, nor Fedex's. Later, I needed even more of the same wood, and purchased again from Floor Variety, and got it in a blazing 2 days by Fedex. Sean was always responsive by phone and email, and it was reassuring to get the tracking number when it became available. The price per carton was also cheaper than the two local companies who offered it. We then completed the kitchen flooring with just the right wood materials. I trusted Sean Bar with a wired pre-payment in full without meeting him and the full order arrived within the week. If you read the rest of my positive review it reinforces the great service of www.floorsvariety.com I required an expedited shipment of 1300 sq ft of hardwood floors. I found www.floorsvariety.com through google, contacted them via email and received a response within 24 hours of availability and the best price. Their price was the best of all my inquiries and many companies never even replied. I ordered the flooring, wired my money and the floors arrived 5 days later. Problem - I, me, the person typing gave Sean an incorrect part number for the floors and they arrived the wrong color. This was 100% my mistake and as you can imagine enormously stressful when we were trying to get them installed before thanksgiving not to mention it's a significant amount of cash. I called Sean and explained the mistake I made and he immediately set about fixing the issue for me. Found this guys on the Internet. They were almost 40% less cost than our local store for the exact same wood flooring. Delivery was a flat $99 to San Diego and got in 2 days. Our local store said 1 - 2 weeks. Everything was perfect...except for the molding was not the exact color.
