I can't stress enough how much I'd recommend this company. Sean is great to work with, as I had an issue with my shipment being damaged in transit. He provided a quick resolution to my issue with strong critical thinking skills. On top of the that, the pricing is nearly unbeatable and very fair and received the shipment on time. I highly advise purchasing flooring from this company. Ryan Florida read more

After looking for my Engineered wood flooring materials from 2 different vendors, I found Floor Variety Dot Com. I called & Sean took my order. Well, it turned out this particular material was discontinued. He went above and beyond by calling the manufacturer & found what I needed at a very reasonable price. I placed my order on Monday & pick it up on Tuesday. What a pleasant experience. I do strongly recommend them. read more

Quick rundown: -CHEAP! They beat any other place that I could find by at least $1-$2 per square foot for my engineered wood flooring. The price was just $0.20 above my friends cost. That alone saved me thousands. -Discount for using check/cashier's check. More savings. -Service was excellent and my questions were answered promptly both by phone and e-mail. -Product shipped on-time as quoted. Cons: Shipping was a bit unorganized though I think that was the fault of the trucking company. It is still worth mentioning though since it's part of the whole buying experience. I was supposed to have a delivery date/time coordinated by the trucking company but didn't get a call until they were 3 blocks away. When the truck finally showed up after a quick reschedule, I was asked if I have a forklift. Crazy that I was fresh out on that day so I unloaded a few pallets myself. But someone less physically fit and/or without arms should definitely make sure they use a truck with a lift gate. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to order through them again. Great savings and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the extra workout too! read more

So much variety!! Finally found the light colored white washed, large planked laminate wood flooring for my condo! Super selection and really good prices compared to others read more

Very competitive price and outstanding service. Every time I call or email, Sean is always there to help. I was able to save a bunch from a local store where I was a previous customer. They jacked up the price and shipping charge for a returning customer. So they lost my business. I was able to save a bunch on shipping charge where I still need to pick up from the local shop. The SoCal wholesaler/distributor has a distribution center in Norcal where I can pick up for a small project without having to pay for shipping. Really appreciate Sean's service! read more

As a first-time home owner, I was looking to purchase floor material. I found FloorsVariety.com through a Google search needing a specific hardwood floor / matching laminate. Sean was very assistive and was able to offer a competitive price (I checked three other local dealers). My husband and I visited the store (entrance and parking in the back) and found our matching laminate thanks to Sean. He assisted us with our endless questions and made the process very easy. He made a few phone calls and placed our order, allowing us to pick up (shipping is possible too) the floor material at the retailer on the SAME day. I am very satisfied with the services of this dealer and can recommend anyone to purchase their hardwood/ laminate floor here! read more

In, out, done! Flooring was in stock and price beat every other thing I looked at today(5 stores). A little hard to find but most best kept secrets are. Knew what I wanted and didn't want a sales pitch. This place delivered! Sales person was prompt and friendly. Thanks. read more

I was looking to purchase some hardwood flooring for a continuation project and I found Sean at Floors Variety on the Internet. He was extremely helpful and patient with my requests and I was able to pick up the flooring the very next day at a nearby warehouse. I had been searching for flooring to match my existing floor and was told it was no longer available. I found Floor Variety on the internet and spoke to Sean. He was so helpful and went above and beyond to find the exact flooring I was looking for. He even found a warehouse to ship my flooring close to my home to avoid delivery fees. I am so happy with the communication and helpfulness of Sean. This is customer service at its finest. read more

My wife found Floor Variety on the internet after the subcontractor wasn't cooperating getting the floor product she wanted. Talked with Sean and he was great. They had the exact floor she wanted for significantly less than other subcontractors' quoted. I admit I was a bit nervous about mailing off a check for $7500 for a delivery to be made in a couple of months. Whenever I called in with a question, Sean was there with a straight answer. When ready, shipment was arranged. The shipping company struggled with delivery instructions (be prepared, that's just how they operate), with no fault on Sean's part as he did everything he could to facilitate. Great product availability, great service and fantastic pricing. Thanks! read more

Sean is fantastic! My sister-in-law needed laminate flooring that was discontinued by the manufacturer. After numerous calls to other companies I located Sean. He went to the warehouse, located 5 boxes, took pictures of it, and after approval shipped it to Arizona. Great man to work with. read more

Sean has performed every phase of my order and delivery exactly as promised. The price quoted was very competitive. The flooring arrived at my destination earlier than I was told and in perfect condition. Sean followed up with a call to me on several occasions to confirm that the shipment was delivered and in good condition. Finally, Sean needed to issue me a credit back for a return and that too was done quickly and a copy of the credit was sent to me for my records. As far as I am concerned, I could not be more pleased. Bruce Vincik read more

A couple weeks ago I bought 2,000 sf. engineered wood floors through floorsvariety.com, and I just got them installed. My floors are in four different colors and Sean worked with me on pricing, and gave me best price on each one. The delivery is on time and products are in very good condition. I strongly recommend it to all of my friends and anybody, especially if you already know what you are looking for. The sales person Sean is easy to work with and always does his best to help. read more

I needed flooring to match what I already have. I called several places, and they all said it had been discontinued, and they couldn't help me. When I called Floor Variety in Van Nuys, I spoke with Sean. He said the flooring had been discontinued, but he would check with the warehouse to see if they might have any left over. The warehouse had some, and he worked with me over several days and phone calls to get the flooring delivered to me. He was so patient and helpful. Great customer service! read more

I had a kitchen flooring project, and suddenly discovered that we didn't have enough wood flooring. We didn't want to lose too many days, so I fervently began searching online for the exact wood. Local companies quoted a long lead-time. Somehow, I came across Floor Variety which was across the country. I called the phone number, and reached Sean. We spoke, and he said that he would check if he could find the wood. Sure enough, he called back a little later that day that he had cartons of wood that could leave CA the following day (or same day possibly). I then paid, and should have received the wood (2 days Fedex priority freight), but Fedex trucks couldn't make it through one of the worst Winters in modern memory. This was neither the floor company's fault, nor Fedex's. Later, I needed even more of the same wood, and purchased again from Floor Variety, and got it in a blazing 2 days by Fedex. Sean was always responsive by phone and email, and it was reassuring to get the tracking number when it became available. The price per carton was also cheaper than the two local companies who offered it. We then completed the kitchen flooring with just the right wood materials. If I need wood flooring again, I will strongly consider purchasing from Floor Variety Dot Com. read more

Can't believe how smooth the entire process went. I found Floors Variety on a Google search. Never heard of them before. Knew the wood floor we wanted and asked Sean for a quote. Already had two quotes from well known reputable dealers. Sean beat my best price by $2,000. I was thrilled, but nervous. Checked reviews. Very good. Customer service from Sean was excellent with great follow through. At the end of the day I figured it's a commodity and placed my order. Just picked up the wood. No surprises, no Hitches, no glitches. One week, start to finish. Would have been quicker if I had payed with a credit card instead of check. If I need wood flooring again, Sean will be my first and only call. read more

Before I get to the detail of my positive review for www.floorsvariety.com yes they are a very legitimate business. I trusted Sean Bar with a wired pre-payment in full without meeting him and the full order arrived within the week. If you read the rest of my positive review it reinforces the great service of www.floorsvariety.com I required an expedited shipment of 1300 sq ft of hardwood floors. I found www.floorsvariety.com through google, contacted them via email and received a response within 24 hours of availability and the best price. Their price was the best of all my inquiries and many companies never even replied. I ordered the flooring, wired my money and the floors arrived 5 days later. Problem - I, me, the person typing gave Sean an incorrect part number for the floors and they arrived the wrong color. This was 100% my mistake and as you can imagine enormously stressful when we were trying to get them installed before thanksgiving not to mention it's a significant amount of cash. I called Sean and explained the mistake I made and he immediately set about fixing the issue for me. He was able to negotiate the return without a restocking fee of 25% - I was told by my contractor that is almost impossible to return flooring and he was amazed www.floorsvariety.com were able to do that. There were definitely many bumps and hurdles in getting the new flooring none of which were caused by www.floorsvariety.com and it was almost as if someone did not want us to have those floor boards. I must have spoken Sean 4-5 times a day for near on 3 weeks and never once did he get frustrated he only focused on fixing my mistake and always returned my calls. Big thanks to Sean and the team from www.floorsvariety.com for fixing the the mistake I made. They are 100% the real deal! read more

Found this guys on the Internet. They were almost 40% less cost than our local store for the exact same wood flooring. Delivery was a flat $99 to San Diego and got in 2 days. Our local store said 1 - 2 weeks. Everything was perfect...except for the molding was not the exact color. I worked with Michelle at Floor Variety...and she was very professional and fixed the issue and sent the correct molding at no cost. Very highly recommended to work with. read more
