Our install was not the best experience due to the distributor cancelling our order for some…read morereason. We picked out our flooring two months in advance, and Abraham said that the distributor must have assumed that it was canceled because the install was not until two months later. I did not hear from them in the weeks leading up to our install so I called a week in advance to see if we were still good to go and they assured that everything was still set for the date we picked. Anyways, my husband had taken the week off of work and they only had enough engineered hardwood flooring to do one room. They went ahead and did the carpet in the bedrooms by Friday of that week. They didnt start on the rest of the house until the following Monday. So we had to takeoff work again, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The workers showed up on time on Monday to rip up the flooring. They didn't show up until noon on Tuesday to install the new flooring so they were still working up until 8 o'clock that night and were still not finished by that evening so they had to come back out Wednesday morning to finish. Needless to say this drug on for almost 2 weeks with our house being turned upside down, not being able to get to our stuff or Cook in our kitchen. I requested that Abraham hire a cleaning service to clean our house because we both had to go back to work and didn't have time to put it back together until the following weekend. He agreed and he did send someone out the next day and they did an impeccable job cleaning the house and getting rid of the dust. I will say had the distributor not canceled our order, we probably would've had a better experience and it would've been done in a timely manner. I think that it's a reputable place and they're honest people. They could work on their communication skills a little better. Would I recommend them again yes because overall the work was good and they did try to make it right after the mistake happened.

Jeff Cappon came to our home to assess the damage and provide us with an initial estimate. After we accepted him as our contractor, he worked directly with the insurance adjuster and answered all questions and concerns the adjuster had. The letters GC in the name should stand for Great Company, Great Contractor, or Great Communicators, because Jeff and his staff kept us informed every step of the way. They communicated what to expect, timelines, and any unexpected issues needing to be mitigated. They were quick to respond to any questions we had regarding the project. They accommodated changes we wanted for our kitchen vent hood and were really helpful and patient with assisting us with flooring options. Renovating our home after water damage was very stressful and inconvenient. GC Flooring Pros made that transition much easier and less stressful because of their great communication, and the quality of their work. Exceptional Quality: All facets of our Flooring installation…read more Having any type of floors installed is an involved process with many phases and each phase must be completed exactly right. In terms of securing a contractor and as a standard of practice, I would never suggest just getting one quote, but in this rare case I can state unequivocally a person can exclusively select Texas Best Flooring Company and not have to look elsewhere. This company and our experience is the exception and not the rule. Keep in mind, there is a great deal that goes into installing a floor. It encompasses many steps to do it correctly and it is a trade that requires precision. When we purchased our house in 2016 it had been a remodel with one of the rooms having hardwood floors that were not sealed and secured properly. Consequently, there were issues with moisture that exacerbated the original installation. Something a buyer could not detect initially. Fast forward to March 2026 and we interviewed two contractors who claimed from their website they had years of experience installing floors. I am sure those contractors had years of experience installing floors *incorrectly.* With Texas Best Flooring, David using specific instruments for moisture detection and moisture movement was able to analyize the data and then ascertain the root cause issues along with the subsequent impacts to the previous floor. What followed was one of the best proposals we had seen from a contractor that offered a comphrehensive solution for our floor. This proposal explained the methods and scope of work necessary to accomplish this installation the right way! The way it should have been done the first time around. The thoroughness of this proposal was indicative of the work that was to follow. From the grinding of the concrete slab phase, leveling, buffing, application of specialized expansion sealants, adhesives etc...the hardwood was ready to be installed. Every step of the process was completed with utmost quality and attention to detail. Their customer service is highly knowledeable and a pleasure to work. And David's technical team is cordial, considerate, clean and professional throughout. To summarize, Texas Best Flooring Company is a turnkey operation that provides exceptional services from cradle to completion. We will be recommending David (Texas Best Flooring Company) to everyone we know and if we encounter someone talking about needing a floor installed we will let them know as well to contact David and not waste time going elsewhere.

I had wood flooring in the den and bedroom (20 years old) so we selected a product that closely matched the existing wood. Took about a week to get the product in from the manufacturer. Doug called about three days before scheduled installment date and wanted to drop the wood off so that it could get acclimated to the house ( wood expands and contracts based on the humidity etc of the house). They have been in business for 30+ years so they know about the products. The two installers showed up on time, moved the large furniture and began removing the existing carpet. These two brothers are great. My fireplace has a rounded brick hearth that required cutting the brick so that the wood could be placed under the hearth instead of trying to cover it with 1/4 round wood. Now it looks like the fireplace was built on top of the wood floor. Total job took about four days. No way it could have been completed in less time. If a large franchise company says they can do it in one day. Don't believe them. It takes 24 hours for the glue to dry, so be ware. Recommend Carpet Connection without hesitation.
