George and his team are excellent carpentry and construction workers; their expertise in deck construction has made my deck safer. The only aspect I disliked about the construction was the industrial appearance of the toggle bolts connecting the beam. I plan to apply plastic bolt caps on the studs for a more aesthetic result. Management never provided a detailed invoice. The estimated parts cost was $4000-$4800, while other quotes fell near $2500. I sourced retail costs of #2 grade lumber from Home Depot, and even with shipping, handling, fuel, and fasteners, the total would not approach that range. I will hire them again for another job but will want more detailed costs to budget.

I can't recommend Richard from Patch Wizards Contracting highly enough!…read more He did drywall repair and painting in my home, and from start to finish, the experience was flawless. I was referred by a friend, and now I'll be doing the same thing... The quality of his work is excellent. He paid attention to small details I never would've thought of, and those finishing touches made a huge difference in how the final result looked. His communication was clear and frequent, and he showed up exactly when he said he would (always professional and respectful). He finished the project on time and left the space immaculate. Seriously, he cleaned up so thoroughly, it was actually cleaner than before he started the job. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond. Without me asking, he offered to dispose of several old paint buckets that had been sitting in my garage for ages - something that had been driving me crazy. Overall, it was a really good experience and absolutely worth the money. I would recommend Richard to others without hesitation because of everything I mentioned above.

I know it's like a joke getting contactors in but it's not terribly funny when it happens to you. The quality of the work was 5 stars. no ifs ands or buts. hole fixed, ceiling painted no fuss no muss no mess. It looks great. The office paperwork side was less so. it was a 2 maybe a 3. It was hard to get an estimate, e-mails sent were apparently missed, the office staff was disorganized- and I'm being polite. it was disorganized to the point I felt like they didn't want my business. and setting a date for the work was only marginally less stressful than Noah booking seats on the ark. When the workmen showed up, they had no work order, I got no receipt or anything at all, and they barely spoke English leading to a few misunderstandings. We contracted for exterior paint in 1998 prior to a Christmas House Tour and then again in 2013 for a "spruce up" prior to our daughter's wedding. November 2015, we brought Mohr Painting back and they are now in progress of painting the 1st floor interior of all walls, ceiling, and trim in powder room, mud room, dining, living, family room, kitchen, foyer, hall and stairwell. Bernie and Frank Mohr and assistant painter, Steve, are courteous, accommodating, and take pride in their work. They clean-up after each day and take care that furniture and floors and interior closets are protected from preparation stage through final enamel of trim. The job is coming along as scheduled (with 4 areas completed in 2 days) and should be completed within one week from start. We took the time to get additional estimates from painters in 1998, however, Mohr was the most reasonable with excellent references. We haven't felt the need to get estimates from anyone else to compare since then because we are extremely satisfied with their pricing, skills and service. Five stars!
