After all repairs were made by me the carpenter Saul was to paint the repairs and then put a second coat on the entire deck. I was asked by Pete to come back and help Saul finish painting.. All Saul and I painted was the new wood"repairs" And where the lake water had rubbed off paint at water level. The day were " claiming" it's fished, the sweetest homeowner of the year "bringing us cold drinks, homemade cookies" Asked Sual "lead man and in charge of the painting portion" did you paint two coats to the entire dock, like I wanted..? He replied YES.. He straight up lied to the lady and I'm pretty sure she already knew the answer to the question she raised, just wanted to confirm.. I brought it up just like stated ^ the same day Pete out of nowhere proclaims to be a Christian from left field, oh ok then.. let's see.. I told him of the dishonest bold face lie that his lead guy had just performed in my presence of eyes on facts and he simply shook his head while looking at his feet.. rest of the week it never resurfaced. My last day of work, I asked Sual, " did you ever go back and paint that deck with the final coat..? He lol'd me.. They also paint with zero prep work done, in Walden homes.. no caulking, sheetrock repairs or even sweeping cobwebs.. I brought this up personally on site with Pete and he just said paint it.. I was disgusted that these people are in business somehow and they reside in my race, so sad

On my latest install, they were professional from start to finish, although not perfect in some areas (more on that later). I'll start with the issues, and then close with the positives. On our first house, I encountered some disappointing challenges during the execution/installation phase. Our garden was trampled on, one of the windows were installed on the wrong spot, and a light fixture was damaged and the crew tried (poorly) fixing it without notifying me (all caught on CCTV). With all that said though, the company stands by doing the right thing and resolved everything on a timely manner. How it was handled was much appreciated and influenced me to use them again and refer others. On our second house, almost everything went smoothly. All windows were replaced in just two days! Just encountered a minor hiccup when a wall was damaged and a worker claimed it was pre-existing. Luckily, I purposely took before-photos and was able to provide evidence that it was not pre-existing. In the end, it was fixed within satisfaction. As for the positives, I really have to give credit to Milton, the supervisor on the second house. He was very professional and accommodating. On one of the windows, he found water damage and pointed it out to me instead of trying to cover it up. The damage and source were all fixed. Seriously, he could have moved on and I would have never known! All the windows were installed to my satisfaction. Few minor quirks remained, but possibly due to the window manufacture (or so I was explained). Also appreciate how floors snd countertops are covered to prevent/reduce damage and dust. I recommend this company. Here are some tips before using them (or any other window company): - Take lots of photos of each window before the work starts. Ensure to get several close ups and different angles of the trim and corners, both inside and out. Ensure good lighting for a useful photo. - Check with your HOA to see if it's the window replacements are allowed. Some care about colors of trim and grid vs non-grid. - Expect the order to take several months to come in. Get your quote early if it's a house you plan on moving in.

Here are the key problems I encountered with Chad and his crew: * Substandard Insulation: Despite my explicit request for new insulation in the living room, Chad instructed his crew to install the new drywall directly over the original 54-year-old insulation. I had to intervene and ensure that new insulation was installed before the drywall work could proceed. * Inferior Paint Substitution: After I selected a specific brand and color of paint, his crew arrived with a lower-quality "color-matched" brand. I only noticed the substitution after half the living room was painted, making it difficult to rectify at that point. * Extended Flooring Delay: Chad's crew demolished all existing flooring in my home without having the replacement materials on hand. They left on September 23, 2024, and no one returned to install new flooring until October 4, 2024. This left my family living on a dirty concrete subfloor for 11 days due to what Chad claimed was an issue with his supplier. * Incorrect Flooring Quality: I explicitly requested 20-mil flooring, and Chad assured me he would "never install anything lower quality than that." However, the first pallet of flooring delivered was only 8-mil, which I refused to allow them to install. * Neglected Subfloor Preparation: When the correct flooring finally arrived, his crew intended to lay it directly on our uneven subfloor without any leveling or floating. I had to insist they float and level the subfloor before installation. * Unpaid Subcontractors: To make matters worse, one of Chad's subcontractors approached me midway through the project (while Chad was unresponsive) to inform me that Chad had not paid him for his work at my house. The only reason the project was (mostly) completed was because I had paid via credit card and threatened to dispute the charges if he did not rectify the situation. He still owes me an electrical outlet installation and has ceased all communication. **Since this review was posted, Chad reached out and had our electrical outlet re-installed. He followed through and finished the job in a professional manner.**

I based my decisions on the amount he quoted and the time he quoted. Seemed reasonable.... until... Instead of working 16 hours, they only worked 8!!! Day one. They showed up at 10am and left at 2pm. He left a huge hole uncovered and stuff everywhere! We came behind them, cleaned up the covered the hole where the window was. Day two. Again, showed up at 10am and left at 2pm. I literally asked him if my home was nicer, would he have done a better job! I also asked him why he was leaving early and he said that they were done. I asked him to caulk around the door and he said it is not included! They did not clean up either. Not included!! The doors are not right. Locking them requires pulling and lifting! The lock on the French door is almost impossible for me to open because it sticks and it leaks when it rains! Then, he asked me to leave him a review!! I told him that it would not be in his favor and I told him why. He was sincere at the time and said he would come back and give me a better deal and do a better job next time. Next time never happened. We've called and spoken to him twice! Set up times for him to return to fix several problems with the doors he installed and for a new door on our other home. He never showed. TWICE. He and his helper are not worth our money. And, I was very uncomfortable that he felt the need to carry his gun while at my house. I waited a long time to post this because of the fear of retaliation! He seemed confident that his job was successful, yet never made it right when I complained.

He recommended some other options for me to look at doors that may be a little bit more affordable and I did. So thankful for that piece of information. He picked up my doors for me within the three day grace period of where I bought them from and was out in the same week to install . Confirming time and date with him was a little stressful because his day fluctuates with what he's got going on so I was a little nervous that it wasn't going to happen right away . But he is a man of his word and called me on Friday morning to let me know that I was going to to have my doors installed in the morning . His crew was so professional, nice very clean tidy worked efficiently He charges $475 per door, which is a little expensive, but I believe it was worth it.
