During my final interview, the director told me, "We'll get back to you within today or tomorrow." After hearing nothing for a week, I followed up with HR, who then told me I would have an update by the beginning of the following week. Since then, I've received no decision and no feedback despite multiple follow-ups. It feels as though candidates are being kept as a backup plan instead of being treated with the respect they deserve. A simple update, even a rejection, would have been far more professional than leaving someone waiting for over a month. Please be more considerate and communicate your decisions in a timely manner
