We had a brand new he/she "shed" that we wanted designed which included everything...and I do mean…read moreeverything... down to electrical, exterior color, walls, window cover, floor, lighting. What we thought was a pretty big undertaking Carter made it look simple. She's very efficient and knows the process of construction and design extremely well. No detail was too small, and it was the little touches that really proved to us that she is really good at what she does and she enjoys it. What's great about Carter is that she really does expect perfection and she really honed in on what we wanted for our design based on conversations we had with her from the get go. We now have an amazing haven on the canyon that perfectly matches the surrounding scenery and provides us a getaway in the middle of the city of San Diego. Thank you Blythe Interiors and big thank you to Carter! When we get ready to design more of our house, we know who to contact. We have since that learned Carter has moved to Spokane, WA and opened a Blythe Interiors there. Carter moving to Spokane is a loss for San Diego of course, but a huge win for Spokane to have access to such a seasoned and knowledgeable designer. You won't regret using Carter/Blythe interiors for all your design needs in Spokane. ....ben

Carter was able to meet with us first in person and then plan, design and work with our contractor virtually during the entire 8 month project. Having Carter as our designer through this process was truly a blessing and her talent and knowledge was worth every penny! She really helped us to understand our style, narrow down design decisions, get the most bang for our buck, and answered SO MANY questions for us which made us feel supported and confident throughout the process . We love everything about our "new" home and have Carter to thank for the care and details throughout!

They wanted my elderly husband with a broken wrist and myself to try to take the blind down and drive 1.5 hours to a repair place Tom offered to send out his blind repair man to fix it for us We would Highly recommend this company for all your design and blind needs Bob and Lynne Dewar

These people really know what they are doing. I hired a contractor that in turn hired them to do…read morethe tiling and build the shower. So in this case, Wallflower was the subcontractor. But my contractor was doing very poor quality of work in building a subfloor. (I get into that later.) Once I realized that Wallflower does great work, and my guy sucks, I stopped my guy and waited the two weeks for Wallflower's staff to take over framing and fixing the poorly installed subfloor. Ron and Al are amazing and really know what they are doing. Now that they have completed the floor, I am totally happy with the results. In the future, they will do all my flooring, no need to hire anybody else. Wallflower also built my shower which was just measured for glass. River City Glass was impressed with it being straight, level, and sloped in all the correct places and angles. Beautiful work. To give everyone there at Wallflowers their kudo's, Tom is the owner and is amazing at customer service. Tracey is our designer and she is awesome, but I hear Liz, who is the other designer, is awesome as well. The quality of tile and products they use are top notch. They use the Schluter system for water sealing. I think that's how it's spelled. That system also has a floor heater that uses a large rubber mat that also acts as a sound barrier for those living downstairs under the tiled floor. The tile is all premium porcelain. Here is the biggest reason I trust this company. They know how to install the products correctly and they don't take shortcuts. My original contractor was trying to do "cost saving" shortcut and did so on the subfloor. Wallflower fixed Bill's shortcuts, cost me an extra $1000, then did the remaining job correctly. If you ever have a thought to hire Morin Construction, owned by Bill Morin, I would just move on to someone else more knowledgeable. Subfloors have tongue and groove. When you don't use the TNG, it leaves deflection problems in the floor that you just can't tile over without adding addition proper reinforcing support. Well you can, but the floor won't last very long. The other problem Bill did not know how to solve was the joists were not level. Instead of adding shims or planning a joist, hundreds of pounds of leveling concrete is his go to. I have done enough remodels in my life to recognize when someone does not know what they are doing, thank God we had Wallflowers to get the job fixed correctly.
