She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

Every person who came out was professional and respectful. What really set them apart was handling both our full roof replacement and solar installation together. Their pricing was competitive, and their substantial warranty sealed the deal. Highly recommend them if you're considering solar!

I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

Synrg Solar / Sean Demarinis you are dealing with Sunpower. Synrg/Sean Demarinis is to the point and will get your Solar System spec'd out to your needs. Installation will be completed by Sunpower Employees not a sub-contractor. Throughout this process Synrg Solar / Sean will keep you updated on your progress in regards to updates on parts and city permits. We met Sean in Oct/Nov 2022. After many discussions and price comparisons, nobody came close to Synrg Solar/Sean pricing. We signed the documents and were set to go forward. Installation took 1 day for 15 panels. Sunpower crew started 7am and completed by sunset. My system is a little different than others. This is an additional solar system (2 Solar Systems) on my residence with 2 Tesla Batteries. Cash purchase which will give you the cheapest price quote. There were some little issues in regards to monitoring due to the 2 seperate solar systems, but was all rectified. You can always go directly to Sunpower by calling the 1-800 numbers, but I cannot guarantee you'll get personalized service updates of your project as I did with Synrg Solar/ Sean. I wanted this system in-place up and running before NEM 3.0 took effect and also take advantage of the Federal tax credit of 30% . I give Synrg Solar 5 stars for the service that was provided. Thankyou Synrg Solar. I'll provide Photos at a later date.

I signed a contract with Sunergy in early August 2025. I planned to get solar installed before the…read moresolar energy tax credit ended. The sales representative said the job including PTO would likely be done in October and assured me that it would be done before December 31. It is now late July 2026. The permit was submitted to the Buildings Department in October 2025 and I still do not have an installation date. I have over 40 single spaced pages of communications (email, text, phone) with various representatives from Sunergy, but I will not bore with details. Here are the main takeaways: First, the amount of turnover at a company is incredible. I have had 7 project managers. Unsurprisingly, I have to restart from scratch with each project manager because they do not seem to have a record keeping system. Second, they do not pay attention to details. I had to raise concerns about their proposed design which would not have worked for my property on three separate occasions. Each time, I had to raise the same concern and they reacted as if this was the first time they heard about it. This issue is related to point #1 above. Third, their communication is excellent when they want you to pay for a milestone. Once you pay, most project managers and senior leaders are unresponsive. Fourth, they obfuscate and employ delay tactics. I have been told since October that my installation date is just around the corner. They are sticking with this line even now. I asked how they determine where a job lands in their queue. They insist the primary criteria is how past-due a contract is. I asked how many contracts are more past-due than my own (~1 year). They refuse to tell me. They also say it is impossible to provide a firm installation date because there are "so many factors" to consider. I suspect they are either prioritizing jobs that have a larger margin or are nearing bankruptcy and stringing people along until they go belly up. Fifth, some of their representatives knowingly lie. For instance, in October, I was given a choice: 1) stick with the original panels and install in 2026 with a workaround involving a third-party company to receive the tax credit, or, 2) install another kind of solar panel by December. I chose the latter because I did not want to deal with a third party company. In late December, I was told they never had the other panels in stock and that I must proceed with option #1 with assurance that installation would occur by February or March. The failure to install the panels on the planned installation date in late April is an even more egregious example of an outright lie. The day before installation, the weather forecast predicted rain. I wrote them to ask what would happen if it rained. Should I still expect the panels to still be dropped off in my driveway? When would installation be rescheduled? A couple days later they called and used the rain as an excuse but subsequently said they needed to work out some more details. They clearly did not have the technicians or materials to install on that day and never informed me until after the installation date. Obviously, three months later and I still do not have a new installation date set. I now have a responsive project manager, but that person is just the messenger. Their senior team continues to make excuses and I am no closer to getting an installation date than I was in mid-October 2025. I WOULD NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

I originally had a positive experience with California Solar Electric during my 10.12 kW solar and Powerwall 3 installation last year. Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business ethics are nonexistent. I referred a friend who completed their installation months ago. I was explicitly promised a $500 referral bonus for this. After months of waiting, I tried following up multiple times privately to give them a chance to make it right, but I am now being completely ignored. It's a shame because I have several neighbors here in Fountain Valley who are currently shopping around for solar and battery storage. I was planning to refer them here, but I cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its own written agreements and ducks communication. Buyer beware: the installation team does good work, but do not trust a word management says about referral incentives or post-sale promises. Still waiting for my $500.

Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

After we decided to move forward, the process was handled professionally from start to finish.
