I tried hard to take public transit in San Jose because I had a free bus pass through Americorps and got paid next-to nothing, making it less than gas in my car. But hanging out here waiting for my connection was always a little on the scary side. Getting on bus 22 was an even more special ordeal, considering the characters I met. Most people were just normal folks trying to get to work or the mall or whatever, but the few people who ranted and raved to all of us that the bus looked like Mexico City, or something along those lines, made our trips truly memorable. The area where this center is is not the greatest, the platforms are narrow and lack sufficient protection from the rain, and seating is very limited. The maps and locations of which bus goes there was always very confusing to me, too. I also can't forget the constant delays of buses, which made me late to work many times. If you have the choice, use lightrail or take a different transit center. I grade this one a big fat D.

We went to few locations like in Oakland, SF, South SF. We were never lost and even better, he knew how to take short cuts when there was severe traffic on the freeway. The ride was very smooth and quick. I felt very safe riding with the Henry all day. He was very good with the communication aspect as well. He texted me the night before to confirm and once again in the morning when he arrived at my house. He always asked to make sure where we were going next every time when we get back to the car. Every time when we got back to the car, the whole car would be cleaned and new bottles and cups would be replaced. So pretty much, every time when we were done with each location and ready to head back into the car. There would a new bottle of champagne for me each time to get the party started it in the back.
