This bus services charges entirely to much for the low quality of service they give , paying 100$ + for a bus ride or more, to still have to ride a filthy stinky bus & get terrible service. So not worth it , go to Vonlane or Red Coach . They should have better drivers who don't harass their customers because there miserable. This driver harassed the shit out of me about a backpack, that was the correct size for a Carry on , I intentionally bought it to carry on . Because the backpack was full he felt like it should go under the bus , I told him no , it's the correct size to carry on . The he harassed everyone the entire ride about seats & everything else . He's a terrible driver & needs to be removed.

Without a doubt the worst traveling experience I have ever had. I bought a ticket in the direction of Atlanta, scheduled to get to Greensboro at 1:30 pm. The company suggested arriving at the stop 15 mins early, but the bus arrived a few minutes later than scheduled. Everything was going smoothly until after we stopped in Richmond. We made a stop at Pilot right outside of Petersburg to get gas and were forced to unload the bus for some reason. We got back on and everything was fine until shortly after we pulled over on the side of I-85. Sat there for about an hour. Once we got moving we drove at about 10mph for 2 miles until we reached the closest gas station where we sat for 4 hours either waiting for a mechanic to come or waiting for the mechanic to fix whatever was wrong with the bus. Hardly any communication was given regarding time estimates or even what was wrong with the bus. FlixBus only sent an email offering to reimburse us for $15 worth of snacks. Additionally, Wi-Fi is advertised but no information on how to access it is posted. I will never be traveling with them again. read more

No wifi, too long ride! I booked my flixbus bus ride from Sofia to Vienna as a direkt ride with wifi. On the busstation I found out that we do not just drive by, but also stop three times in Hungary and my journey will be a bit longer than with the other companies. Besides this there was "an issue" with the wifi, so my both reasons to choose this company camw out to be not happening at all. I will not buy a ticket for 4th time, because from my first three times -2 times I did not had wifi, but one of the rides Zagreb - Vienna had connection... I would not repeat or recommend to my friends! read more

This review is for the US FlixBus. Bus arrived 45 minutes late. The app didn't refresh and calls to their office didn't help because they couldn't locate the bus or find it via GPS. Was incredibly frustrating and confusing for passengers, not to mention made me late for the event I was traveling to. read more

I had terrible experience as a result of travelling from New York to Toronto. The bus was broken 3 hours drive for New York at 12 am. First, The bus drivers told people that mechanic is coming to fix the bus. In 1 hour, they mentioned that a bus from Toronto is coming in 6 hours. The drivers kept pouring water on the bus. I appalled when a rude bus driver refused to give water to the person who was a diabetic . No bus arrived in 6 hours. I spoke with the bus driver , and he refused that the bus driver would come in 6 hours. The bus drivers continued sleeping in the bus, and refused to cooperate . I had to call to 911, the police came . The police officer forced the driver to call to management, and the bus came in 30 min. The customer service is absolutely impostures. There were children, people with diabetes in the bus. We did not have access to food, water , medications for almost 12 hours. The customer service kept telling us "We understand your frustration , but we cannot do anything ". I absolutely don't recommend to travel with the Flixbus. It is more advantageous to spend slightly more, but save your time , energy and don't destroy your health . read more

This company is a scam. Avoid taking their buses at all cost. We waited in Brussels for a bus that never showed and once the next one showed (supposedly ours) the driver brushed us off in French saying we should have taken a megabus proxying as flixbus (which also never showed). This is a subpar company offering very poor service. Take a train or drive instead and avoid the headache. read more

I'm highly upset. This Bus company is new to the Texas & the rest US cities it service. I know the prices are cheap but customer service is still important. I had a round trip tickets from Houston to Dallas and reverse. The Bus to Houston had electrical problems and was stuck in Houston waiting on a mechanic to come out and fix it.The mechanic never showed up after waiting for 4 hours. To get a refund for the trip you have to write a letter and wait. I also lost a hotel stay because i never made it to Dallas that night. The company should reimburse for the tickets. Also should provide some thing or me being so inconvenient I had a lot of respect for the bus company but as of now, It's not looking good for Flix bus read more

Last week I took Flixbus from Berlin to Amsterdam. I checked that trains have no wifi but Flixbus has. Perfect! I have a presentation in morning so I planned to use those 8 ours on the bus to prepare. As soon as I got to bus my first question to the driver was how to connect to wifi. His reply was sorry wifi doesn't work. Great, I arrive at Amsterdam at 23:00 and my presentation is at 10:00! As I found out from driver wifi never works. I contacted Flixbus customer support and I got this empty answer which doesn't say anything, feels like written by a robot and basically says sorry technologies are complicated. I call bull-shit, I used a bus in Latvia between two small towns and they had wifi which was better then I have at work. So I contacted them back saying that is not an excuse, please stop misleading people that you have wifi on a bus or fix it. Next what happen made me share my story. I received exactly the same email! That means there are getting constant complaints about wifi and instead of fixing it they start to ignore it and created an automated reply for that. Great job! Hope this saves someone disappointment or maybe a real person from customer support picks this up and makes some changes. read more

It was the most horrible experience I have ever had!!! If no star is possible, that would be my rate. NEVER try the FlixBus no matter how cheap the ticket looks like. I booked the ticket from SD to LA at 4:30pm, and after 3 hours waiting, it still didn't show up. During the waiting, I kept getting "updated" through email, the same "update" saying "the bus is approx 1 hour and 5 minutes late." The first update email was received at 5:35pm, so it seemed make sense. Then the second updating email came at 5:59pm, and the third came at 8:45pm. Three updating email with exactly the same content at different time, how ridiculous it is! Other people waiting at the same stop called for the custom services, and they were told the delay was due to the traffic. What kind of traffic could stop the bus for more than 4 hours, while the stop was supposed to be the very first stop of the whole trip?! Totally NONSENSE!! I left after 3 hours waiting. I am not sure whether the bus came or not on the same day anyway. But for me, a delay for 3-hour without real updating means "the bus NEVER show up at all" ! Again, NEVER EVER RIDE FLIXBUS! read more

Ok so a friend recommends Flixbus for my xmas trip to visit my grandbaby. I'm traveling Las Vegas to Palm Springs Ca not too far. Flixbus got 1 star because they have hire other charter busses that are horrible. Drivers that dont care about their passengers, their busses or their reputation. 1st bus nothing worked no wifi not one outlet worked to charge phones and the whole drive sounded and felt like the bus was going to fall apart. So we reach my transfer point and I exit bus set down my carry on and hand this young lady my phone so she can call her father and the bus takes off with my luggage. I run chasing it and it doesnt stop which I know I seen. Then i call customer service and the gentleman says well if you can meet the bus in San Diego then I can grab it. If i had a ride to take me an hour and a half the opposite direction of my destination then i wouldn't be on your rickety bus in the 1st place. He said there was no way to call driver but when I boarded the bus in vegas the drivers phone was ringing. No customer service what so ever. I was also told if i dont get it then I had to file a claim and when they got to it I would be contacted. So horrible experience never again!! read more

Never again!!!!!! We took the flixbus on March 21, 2022 from Paris to Bruges. This was the worst experience ever!! Less than an hour after we got on the bus, the driver stops at a gas station on the highway and says we have 15 minutes to pee, eat, drink, smoke! When we came back after 5 minutes, the bus had left. We weren't the only ones. Together with 2 other passengers we were left to our own devices and we had to find a solution ourselves to get home. The service department promised to call us back but we never heard from them again. Fortunately, our own family was able to collect our luggage and that of our fellow passengers, because everything was still on the bus. When we removed it, there was still more luggage than ours, so we suspect that there were probably still some left behind. The driver was rude and very arrogant. Our family, like us, had the impression that he had been drinking or at least too tired to do his job properly. In the end, we joined forces and looked for solutions ourselves. By taxi (€60), the train (€99) and collection by family (€30 fuel) we got home safely and our fellow travelers at their destination. But what should have been a cheap, fun bus ride turned out to be a very expensive fiasco! read more

Planned a trip from Berlin to Munich with Flixbus and I really regret that decision! The bus was 40 mins late and there was no information on its whereabouts nor its actual arrival time. The screen only said "estimated delay 30 mins". So we had to stand outside in the cold and wait for the bus.. Also, no message (email/sms) was received notifying me of the delay! Lastly, the staff working at the counter in the Berlin ZOB was extremely rude.. I asked a guy there to point me to the correct platform (as there as no bus to Munich, I didn't really know where to go) and he just pointed me to the nearest platform where a random FlixBus bus was ready for departure.. Then the driver of that bus pointed me to the right direction.. When again we went in later to ask about our bus' whereabouts, another guy looked over his shoulder, pointed to a random FlixBus arriving at the bus station and said "That's it!". Guess what, it wasn't :) read more

A friendly bus conductor and a nice bus with individual power plugs made this journey a pleasant one. It was easy and basically free of charge to cancel and rebook my trip online just a couple of hours before departure, with many departures to choose from. Very inexpensive. Feels more reliable than french railway which are often on strike or have technical problems. My trip with Flixbus was from Strasbourg to Karlsruhe read more

This bus company sucks. We tried to buy tickets and the website crashed as soon as I hit submit for the payment. So then we booked with greyhound instead. I come to find out that they charged me for the bus tickets that I never got an email or notification for. So I called them to cancel cause we already bought other bus tickets from greyhound instead and they said they would refund us. We go to greyhound thinking we were good and then I get a confirmation email saying they booked the trip. Called back and they said they don't do refunds, that instead it's a voucher. Such an unreliable company. Please avoid!!! read more

Worst bus service ever, bus was late, they don't answer the phone if called, they don't have offices, was denied boarding to bus while I have a valid ticket, I had to book a train to get to my final destination, in bus stops they have no representation and drivers does not help, DO NOT TRAVEL WITH FLIXBUS. In details: my trip was supposed to leave Leverkusen Germany at 13:30 today the 7th of July 2016,bus was late 90 minutes to arrive, bus in Brussels said we don't have the right tickets while other drivers said yes we do, they didn't allow us on our connection bus to Paris, and we had to book a train ticket to get there tonight. Also they don't answer the phone and they put you on hold, I paid extra since I was calling roaming. read more

Terrible bus company!!! Your money will be better spent elsewhere. They sold my family 12 tickets from Prague to Budapest. They somehow forgot to mention that we had to bring our own child seat even though they knew that one of the passengers was one and a half years old. We ended up being escorted out of the bus by a rude driver and an even worse security guard. They refused to refund our money. We had to purchase a child seat to continue our travel. We lost four and a half hours waiting at the terminal. What a bunch of low lives. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Flixbus!!! read more

We waited in the cold (with a kid) for our 7:15am momtclair-los angeles schedule not knowing their bus was delayed til 10am. I didnt know about the delay until I called their customer service, no notification through app or email. i asked to cancel all our trips because they ruined our schedule and asked for the refund, they promised me full refund because of the inconvenience and since it's the first time, but when i emailed their financial services they would give me what they promised. This is cheap, but this is such an unreliable and heartless company. They wouldnt even understand yoursituation and what happened and insisit on giving you a voucher even if you couldnt use it on where you live. This company ruined our trip and at the same time wouldnt make up for it. thumbs down for both the company and its employees who cant even understand the hassle they brought to the customer read more

Horrible customer service and you only have a small chance to get where you booked a ticket to go. I booked a ticket for my son to go from UCLA to San Diego. They bus never showed up and they never notified me. I called customer service and gave them all the details and the agent said he couldn't give me any details (if the bus was coming or not) because my name was not on the ticket. This is not private medical information I just need to know if your bus is coming or not. Could you imagine calling Southwest, Amtrak or any other form of transportation and not being able to know if they were onetime because you don't have a ticket. WTH! Anyway, the bus never showed and never contacted me. I asked for a refund and they said I could put in a complaint to finance and they would do an investigation and send a check....um what! Rant over, I will not be using this service! read more

How is Flixbus still operating considering the shockingly bad service they provide? Buses are ALWAYS late (i mean NEVER on time; connections are never met either), the phone advice is ridiculously misinformed and the bus drivers don't even try to do a good job. Worst experience ever! You are better off paying the 10 extra dollars to ride with greyhound or ANY other transportation. This bus is the MOST unprofessional service you can ride with, there is a class action suit against them now because they left 25 passengers stranded and would not send another bus for us, nor would they provide a refund and another ride. They made that day hell for everyone. Their customer service is clearly based outside the country so they could really care less about the complaints you have, like them never even showing up to take a group of passengers home! read more

I booked a return from from Eindhoven to Bruges with Flixbus, thinking that it would be more convenient and less stressful than driving. However, that was a mistake. A few things to be aware of if you're considering booking Flixbus: 1) The bus can run extremely late, and they won't inform you of it accurately. From Eindhoven to Bruges, the bus arrived 30 minutes late, and on the way back, I received a text message from Flixbus saying that the bus would be 21 minutes late, but it ended up being an hour late. If I had known earlier, then I could have spent more time in the city rather than sitting at the bus stop for that hour. In the end, I arrived in Eindhoven 2 hours later than the time given by Flixbus. A journey that would have taken less than 2 hours by car, ended up taking nearly 5 hours. 2) Nothing works. The toilet wasn't working, the Wifi doesn't work outside of Germany, and the air conditioning was off for all but the final 30-40 minutes of a nearly 4-hour trip. It was hot and stuffy inside, as the outside temperature was 25-27 degrees C and extremely sunny. 3) Extremely unfriendly staff. The bus driver snapped at passengers who asked why we had to have a 45 minute stop at a remote gas station when the bus was already running 1.5 hours late. My guess is that it's a legal requirement, but an explanation to passengers who are understandably frustrated due to the long delays would have gone a long way to quelling rising tempers. Also, it would help to acknowledge the fact that the bus is running extremely late, and apologise on behalf of Flixbus, even though the driver isn't personally responsible for the lateness. In conclusion, whilst Flixbus is a great concept and appears to offer a convenient alternative to driving or trains, I would advise users to think twice before booking because they have a lot of issues to iron out. read more

Don't bother taking FlixBus in the U.S. Their buses will not show up to pick you up. This happened from Henderson, NV to Phoenix. The following week, this happened again from the Las Vegas strip to LA. There were about 20 people waiting for that bus that never came. Called customer service and they couldn't find the bus. I'm sure they run just fine in Germany since they've been operating there for a few years. In the U.S., they've been operating for a few weeks and they have unreliable bus partners. Save your time and money and book with another company instead. I've used Megabus on many occasions and they will pick you up on schedule. read more

I cannot recommend Flixbus if any punctuality is a requirement. I have traveled few times by myself with Flixbus. In addition, I have taken my friend by my car to the bus stop several times. On average the busses seem to be late at least 20-30 minutes and once the bus was late 1.5 hours. Many busses seem to be canceled too. I needed to go once to Airport and I tought that I could use Flixbus. A bad idea. 10 minutes before the estimated arrival time, I got a message from Flixbus that the bus is late 50 minutes. I needed to take a train in order to get to airport on time. I never got my money back from Flixbus. Although it is cheap, if you need to hurry, you might lose lots of time and money.. and miss your appointments. I will travel by trains in the future. read more

For Older travelers the Flixbus might provide a good alternative to trains when making shorter hops between cities in Europe. The cost per mile is approximately $.12-$.18 per mile. Distances longer than 4 to 6 hours in length are probably best served by flying. Entry Heights on trains are somewhat determined by platforms. The height variance can be enormous from country to country and even station to station. It can be quite a haul to get your luggage on and off the train depending on these factors. In general, train fares are slightly more expensive than FlixBus. For the most part flick buses use the central railroad station in the various cities that they serve. So getting to the departure point or arrival area is easy. One advantage of the bus is storing your luggage is underneath rather than having to haul it on to the train. Flick bus has an easy to use smart phone application that allows you to find routes and purchase tickets all on the smart phone. This is very convenient if you're going to be making several stops in Europe. It takes about five minutes to set up the application and provide a credit card. You can either print out a hard copy of the ticket or with the application the ticket is embedded and all you have to do to get on board the bus is show the driver the facsimile of the ticket and Bob's your uncle! You might also consider having a look at the phone based application called Rome2Rio for obtaining very quick alternative routes that you might be interested in. You can get an overview of pricing between FlixBus and airlines or even other slightly more interesting alternatives. Try it out, you might be surprised! The Flixbuses are relatively new, clean and the seating is very comfortable; probably comparable to most economy class plane seats. Maybe even a little better. Do keep in mind that the FlixBus is mainly application based. That means that when you arrive at your jump off point there will be no where to buy a ticket or anyone to communicate with. When the bus arrives the driver will scan your smart phone ticket and you will self store your luggage underneath the bus. This self store idea is probably the least appealing if you have very heavy or cumbersome pieces of luggage. The bus driver does not assist. Schedule departures and arrivals are kept reasonably tight and in most cases a 5 to 10 minute variance is all that you would experience. A wide range of people utilize the FlixBus. So you will encounter young people, old people and in between aged folks. On our several trips we did not encounter any children. Interesting. Free Wi-Fi is generally available. Sometimes however we encountered particular buses with technical problems. Probably an idea for a person to have a MiFi with them so that they can communicate anytime they want. A decent MiFi runs about US$50 on Amazon. Other than a few major capital cities, Most areas in Europe are easily accessible on a 3G MIFI. Team this device up with a Skype account and you can call virtually any phone in the world for two or three cents a minute. Sure beats some of the expensive phone company plans. This whole idea works well if you're going to be traveling for more than a week or two. You will need to get a Sim card with data only to operate a MiFi. These SIM cards run anywhere from five dollars to $10 for a monthly plan. Amazingly you really don't need a huge amount of data if you're going to just do some surfing and make a few phone calls. read more

I have the worst experience of my life with Flix bus. We travelled to Berlin with Flix train which was good but when we returned from there we had a booking with Flix bus. First of all because we were new to the city we had no idea where the Central bus station was. We were under the impression that it will be near to Berlin Hauptbahnhof as it is in Frankfurt. But it was 7 kms away from the Hauptbahnhof and the location was also not updated in the Flix bus app. It was saying that the location will be updated 15 minutes before the departure. Our bus was scheduled at 17:00CET on the 4th November 2018. However we had to reach the place 15 minutes before. By paying extra taxi cost we managed to reach the Central bus station at 17:00CET but because of the misbehavior of the person at Information Desk we missed our bus and we had to pay extra amount for another booking at Flix bus. This new booking caused us lot of discomfort in terms of money and travel because the journey had a HALT and we had to wait for 3 hours at "Neuenburg" and we reached Frankfurt in the morning at 07:00 in the morning which caused us in one business day lost as it was a "Monday". It was just a matter of providing us with the right information by the service center executive but he chose to haraas us with his behavior. He could have informed us with the location of the bus because the bus was still in the Central bus station when we reached there. He was the reason we were unable to board our bus or may be he has sold the tickets to some other people and he didn't wanted us to board the bus. This is the worst bus trip I have ever been on!!! I don't care how cheap it is!! On this trip to Paris from London & it's a pretty full bus of at least 50 people. There is no air on this bus & sitting in the back, I feel like cattle stuck all in 1 tiny spot. No air to breathe. Asked the bus driver to give us air. He says it's broken. Asked the bus driver for drinks they offer to sell to us. Doesn't have that for us either. This is a looooong bus trip & yes we have stops, but this is unacceptable. Save yourselves & book with another bus line!!! read more

Currently (March 2nd, 2020) on the 4:15 PM Flixbus from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando. 1. Our driver was approximately 20 minutes late to pick us up. No explanation was given. 2. The bus was unusually warm inside and it did not appear the air conditioning was working sufficiently. Approximately an hour and a half into our trip, a young man who appeared to be in his early thirties requested to be let off of the bus due to feeling ill. He appeared hot and it wouldn't surprise me at all if the temperature on the bus had something to do with it. Our driver pulled off of I95 south of 714 and the passenger exited the bus. At this point the driver informed all passengers aboard that he would be dismounting the bus to "check on" the ill passenger, who at this point had made his way into the covered area of the truck rest stop we had pulled into. 3. Upon exiting the bus, the driver closed the door behind, effectively locking us inside of the bus. Bear in mind that the bus has already been uncomfortably warm for the past 90 minutes or so and the driver failed to give us any idea how long it would be before he returned from checking on the patient who had taken ill. 4. Myself and 3 other patients aboard attempted to exit the vehicle to purchase water from the rest station. Upon realizing the door was locked, we decide to wait for the driver to return instead of returning to our seats. Once he returned (appx 5 minutes later), we explained to the driver that we needed water. One female passenger to my immediate right stated no less than four separate times that she "needed water". We explained that it did not feel as if the AC was on at all, and that we were concerned about continuing the trip in this fashion. All of our concerns were dismissed. The driver kept repeating that no passengers were allowed to leave the bus and that the only reason we stopped in the first place was because of the sick passenger. Exasperated, the female passenger asked when would she be able to purchase water if not right then. The driver stated dryly "When you get to Orlando". 5. We are currently en route to Orlando. No plans to stop for water, despite repeated requests. The temperature in the bus has improved slightly due to the sun setting. So disappointed in the customer service (or lack thereof) provided to us this evening. Through it all, this particular driver has maintained an argumentative attitude and shown a shocking degree of unprofessionalism. I hope that using the information I have provided you are able to identify this specific driver and take necessary action. None of us currently riding this bus will benefit of course, but there is no reason for anybody else to have to sit here and tolerate this laughably bad experience. This will be my last time taking a Flixbus and I'll make sure to share my experience with everyone I know. read more

I'm a tourist from Hong Kong. This is the worse experience I ever had: The trip was scheduled Venice 20:25 to Milan 23:55 Milan 03:30 to Nice 08:00 I was arrived 30mins earlier than the departure time at Venice. Finally arrived at Milan, it was a cold, outdoor place. And I have noticed there are a 2hours delay, and we can do nothing but sitting on the bus station to wait for the bus. The bus came eventually at 05:30, I'm already missing 2hrs of my trip, after passing Genoa. The bus had some issue about the engine and stop for almost 3 extra hour on the highway.it was Already 8:47am I was keep expecting there are a bus coming to pick up us, but nothing happened!! The bus driver keep telling us the another bus are coming to pick us, we want to know when will it come, but he said.he don't know. Then the repair truck came and we thought the bus will be fixed, but they only took our BUS out of the highway to another location. Again, the driver telling us the another bus is coming but don't know how long it takes. We finally arrive at Destination at 6:00pm, which is 10hr delay, we lost our whole day trip. We missed our hotel check-in time, we miss some Spot we planned to go, we need to pay extra fee for Transportation. After we back to Hong Kong, I try to let FlixBus to know how disappointed and upset we are. They reply very slow, it takes a week for each email reply, feel like they don't care about their customer. We mentioned that we are tourist, but end up they offered us a free ride. The matter is we would not go to Europe that frequently, This is how they offer us for ruining our trip. For others who want to travel by Bus, please pay attention to this company - Flixbus. read more

Our trip to Halle was great, a great driver was there to board us and drive well. The trip from Halle was from hell. The driver was condescending and told us we didn't have front seats. Our tickets begged to differ. He told us we got lucky. Um. Ok. He then proceeded to talk the entire ride with his colleague, loudly, and on and on and on. He was texting on WhatsApp. Super safe. He told us we couldn't eat right before the audio played saying that they would be selling food and drinks. So we can buy them and eat them later? They didn't sell though. He and his colleague could eat all they wanted though. Food trash from the previous ride in our seats. Nice. read more

I would like to warn all the other passengers for a very unpleasant and I believe unacceptable situation which took place on my trip from Nice airport (18:45) to Turin (22:40), line 404. First, despite the Covid-19 regulations, no temperature check was performed on the passengers. After leaving Nice, I noticed that more than half of the passengers wasn't wearing any mask. I decided to notify one of the drivers, which was also not wearing any mask himself. I got the most rude and threatening answer: he told me he doesn't have to make sure about anything and that I had to go back "at my fuc**ng place" (cit.) (for clarity, I am a 28 yo woman 1.58 m tall, not a 2 m tall bodyguard!). So I did, since I was very scared about his aggressiveness. Since I was sitting in second raw, I heard he called his "operative center" and warned I was probably going to complain with Flixbus, and called me "a little annoying lady". I also heard him reporting to his colleague that his operative center answered that "if I wanted to travel safely I had to rent a fuc**ng car" (cit.). As if it wasn't enough, he came back to me telling that if I dared to take pictures or videos, he would report me to the police, and kept calling me "you little lady (signorina)" laughing. I felt terribly unsafe and in danger, so much that a friend of mine which I was texting decided to notify the police and warn them. No intervention from the police was needed, but I am fairly sure this situation is not compliant with Flixbus policy and with both italian and french regulation for Covid-19 protection. When I notified the Flixbus Customer Service the day after, I got a almost automatic answer of excuses and they truly gave me the impression they are not going to do anything for it, they simply invited me to go back travelling with Flixbus so that I could change my mind. They also refused to refund my ticket. I was very commonly travelling with Flixbus, but from now on they will not see a cent from my anymore. read more

Hello. In Lisbon it was very confusing to find the station because the print out of the ticket said the bus was meeting a 20 minute walk from the bus station. And the ticket said it could be at either or platform. Confusing! I know it's a fairly new company but I was very displeased. 10:15 PM departure ended up being 1 AM. They said there was an accident and they needed to change buses. I understand that. I was sent a text that I was going to be picked up in a white bus. But the regular bus came. It was very confusing to everyone in the termina, chaos continued. It was exhausting. Although, The Buses were very clean and very safe. I Got to my destination but almost bought a ticket for the Next day bus and a hotel for the night... Ridiculous I am not recommending them. read more

They say with wifi, it's false... they were late and there was no toilet in the bus (also they say they have). Worse company to travel

The worst bus trip I have ever had, compared with buses in Africa, India, the USA, Australia. This bus was truely a nightmare. The heating was on full blast the entire twenty hours trip which sounds small but we also we're not allowed to stop to get water. This was a serious situation, hot dry temperatures around 32 in the bus and no water for close to twenty hour is very serious. I strongly advise paying the extra for a share car or plane. Really not worth the distress read more

My luggage was lost on the bus, I told the bus driver and he yelled at me. Next I contacted customer service (about 10 times now), eventually they agreed to refund me. Then I gave them my bank details and they never contacted me again, I've emailed 3-4 times since. Avoid if possible! read more

Ignoring the low quality of this app, their customer service is terrible! Charged me an extra 80€ for a bus trip and they still haven't gotten back to me (3 weeks later). When I call they simply say there's nothing they can do and are unwilling to transfer me to a representative with any actual ability at solving my situation. Do not recommend to anyone! Pay 2 more euros and use a decent company. read more

Cautionary Tale: I rode with Flixbus and had my life ruined On Sep 25, 20:30, I boarded on the Flixbus at the Berlin Central Bus Station bound for Zurich Central Bus station. In addition to my checked-in luggage, I had one small waistbag/fannypack that I wore on my body during the journey, which holds all the valuables including passport, wallet with 130 euros in cash, all credit cards etc. When the bus arrived at the destination, I got off to retrieve my suitcase but left my waist bag on my seat. On arriving at the terminal stop Zurich, I walked away from the bus to take the tram nearby. About 500 meters away, I realized I'd left my waist bag on my seat. I returned immediately, the bag was gone. The bus was already loading new passengers for a new trip since it arrived 2 hours late according to the schedule. I asked the new driver, he didn't speak English and simply did not care. The 2 drivers from Berlin were off duty and went to sleep, he told me. Since this bus arrived in Zurich late, it was already filling up with passengers for the next planned trip to Stuttgart. There were a few passengers on board and I asked them if they saw anything, they told me no. Since my seat was at the mid-bus entrance by the partition board, it's directly under the surveillance camera. I believe by reviewing the footage we can find out what happened. To this day, my legitimate request has not been answered. I called the service center of Flixbus in Germany right away and told them the whole incident, believing that in this mostly timely manner the bag can be found easily found without too much trouble. How wrong I was! The simple, automated line designed to pawn off passengers which the guy on the line, in his most indifferent tone, must have repeated a thousand times before goes, and I quote: submit the loss&found form! My 5 day trip to Zurich was naturally ruined. I made an official police report in Zurich with which I later returned to Germany as a kind of explanation for not having an ID when passing the border control. I specially mentioned the surveillance camera which could be used to discover the whereabouts of my bag. 5 days later I embarked on my return trip with Flixbus. It was a red-eye ride and I had to change midway for a train in Heidelberg. Due to the enormous stress and emotional fatigue endured thanks to the ruined trip, I left my suitcase uncollected when I got off at my stop. I soon realized the mistake minutes after the bus drove off and immediately called Flixbus help center, the only advice they provided was 'to ask someone you know to pick it up for you along the stops the bus will make on this trip'. I do not know anyone in those cities, to which he suggested to submit a loss and found form via their website and wait for the news, cause that's the best they can do, naturally. I came back to Berlin totally devastated. I'd submitted loss and found requests for both of my lost properties to Flixbus not only once, but three times in total, and each time they came back with the automated message: we're sorry, but we could not find your belonging. I'd paid a personal visit to their company, and the staff there, clearly underpaid and overworked, said there's nothing they could do. Nothing, not even a word of apology. The course of my life in Germany flipped 180 after the unfortunate ride with Flixbus. 2 months later, I had to leave the country for good since some documents I had was irreplaceable. I blame myself for the thrift, for having wanted to save 60 euros and made the poor choice, for not having done my homework properly beforehand. The ill reputation of Flixbus as an irresponsible, bloodthirsty company can be revealed a simple google search away, enough to discourage any penny pinchers to think twice before travelling the perilous road with them. read more

I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable treatment I experienced during my journey on FlixBus 095 from Munich Central Bus Station to Klausen (Chiusa) on 8 March 2026. Details of the incident: During the scheduled stop at Innsbruck Südbahnstraße, Austria, the bus paused at a service station. The driver announced the break and explicitly allowed me to use the restroom for 5 minutes after I asked him in German, which other passengers can confirm. The driver was aware that I was going to the restroom without luggage and would return within the 5‑minute period. I bought a bottle of water at the station at 15:02 (transaction receipt available) and returned to the bus within the permitted 5 minutes, only to find that the bus had departed without me. Additionally, the bus left the Innsbruck stop earlier than indicated in the app (15:10). As a result, I was left stranded without my backpack, which contained my passport, wallet, and all my personal belongings. This caused not only stress and inconvenience but also restricted my freedom to travel, as I was denied access to my identification and financial means. This put me in a personally threatening and unsafe situation. I had no option but to follow the bus by taking a taxi. Another important point: FlixBus didn't mentioned in the ticket-related information that my action was prohibited. I did not expect this outcome. In addition, I called FlixBus customer service multiple times, but they could not provide any meaningful assistance. Instead, the lack of support only increased my frustration. Imagine racing a taxi after a FlixBus from Austria to Italy. I had to convince the taxi driver that I was not attempting to deceive him, with no money or ID on me, while speaking with the highly unhelpful FlixBus customer service. I had no option but to follow the bus by taking a taxi. Despite the fact that the bus departed minutes ahead of schedule, the driver's negligence forced me to arrange an emergency taxi from Innsbruck to Klausen, Italy, which cost me significantly. When we finaly intersected with the driver this was reluctant to give me access to my belongings. This situation has caused significant distress and financial burden, and I expect FlixBus to take full responsibility. read more

I have been travelling through Europe a lot in the past few years and I'm really glad that it's finally possible to travel within Germany by bus now. A fellow traveller highly recommended Flixbus to me and I found their connections perfect for a little trip through Germany so I planned an entire trip with Flixbus for me and my boyfriend. We stayed about 2 nights in each city, mostly in hostels and we also did some couchsurfing, so the entire trip was extremely cheap and one of the best travel experiences I ever had in Europe! Our experience with FlixBus was very positive. Everything worked out well and the tickets were so cheap :-) For my first booking I called the Flixbus Hotline for some help as their website is not available in English yet. Their staff was very friendly, helpful and could speak perfect English. + Very cheap tickets, snacks and drinks! + Our busses were all on time + Everything was extremely clean (I think they only have very new busses) + The drivers were great, very friendly and helpful + Free wifi + The transportation of our big backpacks was free + Service Hotline staff is great - Website is not available in English yet Here are the routes we travelled and the fares for one person: For the first part of our trip, I booked the tickets a few weeks in advance, so I managed to get the really cheap early birds fare Frankfurt Airport Cologne (5EUR) Cologne Bremen (13EUR) Bremen Hamburg (1EUR, yes! They had a special promotion or something and I got two 1EUR tickets, sweet!) Hamburg Berlin (8EUR) For the second part of our trip I booked the tickets only a few days in advance, so the cheapest tickets were mostly gone, but the full prices were still awesome (From Berlin to Dresden we took the train) Dresden Nuremberg (23EUR) Nuremberg Munich (15EUR) Munich Regensburg (11EUR) Regensburg Prag (23EUR) Prag Munich (33EUR) Munich Stuttgart (16EUR) Stuttgart Nuremberg (9EUR) Nuremberg Wurzburg (5EUR) Wurzburg Frankfurt (6EUR) I can highly recommend FlixBus and the whole route we took. Germany is a great country and it's now possible to easily travel from city to city on a budget :-) read more

I must express my profound disappointment with the recent experience I had with FLIXBUS. On the 8th of July, 2023, I, along with two other passengers, eagerly awaited the departure of the bus in České Budějovice. We arrived at the designated platform well in advance, but little did we know that this would be the start of a frustrating and unprofessional encounter. Fifteen minutes past the scheduled departure time, there was still no sign of the bus. To add to the frustration, the mobile application failed to provide any updates or notifications about a possible platform change or any other adjustments. As a result, we were left clueless and stranded, eventually causing me to miss a significant tournament I had planned for so diligently. The lack of communication and disorganization exhibited by FLIXBUS is unacceptable. As a traveler who relies on timely and accurate information, this experience left me not only inconvenienced but also with a considerable financial loss. I am genuinely concerned about the professionalism of FLIXBUS. The utter disregard for its passengers' time and schedules is deeply troubling. When customers make a commitment to travel with a company, they expect the same level of commitment in return. I am now seeking an immediate resolution to this issue. It is only fair that FLIXBUS compensates me fully for the trip that never happened, booked under reservation number 3090140303. Furthermore, I believe it is essential for FLIXBUS to take responsibility for its lack of communication and ensure that proper measures are implemented to avoid such situations in the future. In conclusion, I strongly advise fellow travelers to think twice before choosing FLIXBUS. This experience has left me with a bitter taste and has shattered any trust I had in the company's services. I hope this review serves as a warning to others, and I implore FLIXBUS to address this matter promptly and professionally. read more

On April 28, 2024, I traveled from Paris (Bercy Seine) to London (Victoria Coach Station) via a FlixBus service, with a departure time of 10:15 (Paris time) and an arrival time of 18:55 (London time). My booking reference number for this particular trip is 315 443 4163, route 700. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in London, I realized that I had inadvertently left my suitcase in the luggage compartment of the bus. The suitcase in question is a medium-sized black one with four wheels, displaying some minor scratches, and branded "Newcom." Immediately upon recognizing my mistake, I hastened back to the station within a mere 10 minutes, only to find that the bus had already left. Despite my swift actions to retrieve the suitcase, which included visiting the station on the evening of April 28 and again on April 29, as well as lodging a report with FlixBus's lost and found department (report reference number: 37302145), there have been no updates or leads regarding its whereabouts. It has now been more than two weeks since my first contact with the lost and found service. The inability to find my suitcase, which was left in the luggage compartment of your bus, for such an extended period is unacceptable. This lack of professionalism on your part is simply unacceptable. I vividly remember the driver who operated the route and have provided all relevant details. Despite suggesting the possibility of contacting the bus driver, FlixBus declined to do so, citing privacy concerns. While I acknowledge my own error in leaving the suitcase behind, I am profoundly dissatisfied with FlixBus's approach to resolving this matter. I believe the company's actions--or lack thereof--could be construed as negligence. Consequently, I am considering taking legal action to address this situation. read more

my trip with you guys has turned out to be one of my worst traveling experiences ever! Been on a bus from hell from Barcelona (what's the worst smelling toilet you ever smelled? For me flixbus N710 towards Düsseldorf) got physically sick of it and I'm a bartender used to cleaning horrible toilets!!. Plus I now stink sooooooooo bad that other passengers won't come close and probably think I'm incontinent so yeah feeling great. As cherry on top I booked a ticket for 40 minutes after arrivel in Amsterdam since you guys are never more than 30 minutes late but now am delayed again and send a message on Facebook about my connection. And it seems that you guys are not responsible for me missing my transfer in Amsterdam because of bs reason the nice girl (Linda on facebook) had to give me. So we go from boasting about being on time to not taking responsibility for a 40+ minute delay on a 3 hour and 40 minute trip (assuming my math is correct and I miss the flixbus in Amsterdam) boasting about service where you straight up endanger people (yes the ride were a boy got a seizures from the smell) and your bus drivers (both) did nothing! Tought BHV (dutch for company first aid) was something they would need as well but you guys are welcome since I have mine and together with some passengers could stabilize the guy and see him off in a ambulance. Oh and please stop advertising that you have wifi now in my 7th flixbus in 8 days and only one had (sort of) working wifi. So here is what I would like. Man up and take responsibility!

I used FlixBus to get from Ljubljana to Zagreb and then Zagreb to Budapest, and was very impressed with the service. Both buses had a good wifi connection for the entire trip, and both had bathrooms on board. The Zagreb-Budapest trip was a longer one (5 hours) so they also had food and drinks available on the bus to purchase and stopped us at a cafe halfway through in case anyone was hungry. While the bus trip was better than I anticipated (especially because the cost of the tickets were cheaper than anything else I had seen), but how they deal with cancellations and changing tickets is actually why I wanted to write a positive review. On the day of our trip from Ljubljana to Zagreb, we found out we needed to get to Zagreb earlier than we thought so we could drop off our luggage at the bus station luggage hold before it closed. FlixBus had an earlier bus to Zagreb that day, and we were able to cancel our original tickets, get a voucher for the full cost of the original tickets we cancelled (sent to me immediately by email), and then use that voucher to book the new time, all of which was incredibly easy to do on the FlixBus App through the "rebook" option. They also allow mobile boarding passes (also through their app), which was great because so many bus companies require a printed ticket which general isn't possible when you're travelling and don't have access to a home printer. Overall, I would highly recommend FlixBus! read more

I had the worst travel experience of my life with FlixBus. My trip started at the Miami Beach (Newport Beachside) stop, which was already a confusing and poorly marked location. The signs could easily be mistaken for the hotel's shuttle, and the lack of clear instructions in my confirmation made things worse. The bus passed right by me at the stop while I was standing there with my luggage! Determined not to miss my trip to Orlando to meet my family for our Disney vacation, I had to chase the bus down in a car and catch up to it at a red light. When I approached the bus, the driver immediately started screaming profanities at me, addressing me in the most disrespectful and racist manner, calling me by my skin color and using offensive names. It was shocking and humiliating. I felt incredibly unsafe, but I had no choice but to get on since I had already paid for my ticket. I had even paid extra for a seat upgrade, but when I found someone else sitting in my assigned seat, the driver refused to assist me. His hostility throughout the experience made me feel completely unwelcome and uncomfortable. FlixBus's lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic human decency is appalling. I would never recommend this company to anyone, especially if you value respect and safety. Avoid FlixBus at all costs! 1/5 stars, only because 0 stars isn't an option. read more

Had a horrible experience with Flixbus!!! I was supposed to board the bus around 1am at the airport in Amsterdam. First the bus was late (which is understandable) but then when the bus finally arrived and I was trying to get on board my printed ticket or the ticket sent to my email would not scan. I showed both my printed ticket and the ticket on my email and everything was okay but for some reason my name was not in their system and they would not let me board the bus. I was trying to reason with them but I was told there must be a problem with the payment and still they would not let me on the bus. So I slept at the airpot in Amsterdam while trying to figure out what to do. It has now been a month and I have emailed flixbus 4 times. After the 1st email I got a reply a week later telling me to explain the situation better because they could see that my name was in their system. I replied to this email with and got a reply blaming me saying that I had missed the bus because it was late and other people had boarded the bus. Since then I have emailed them 3 times and have not heard anything back! I decided to share my experience in case people are trying to decide between bus companies I would say do not choose Flixbus unless you want to be left stranded somewhere in the middle of night and not receive any help regarding it. read more

I'm absolutely disgusted by the experience I had with FlixBus and the way they handled my complaint. A few days ago, while waiting at the Broxden Park & Ride, I mistakenly boarded a bus headed for Aberdeen. The driver's reaction? Completely rude and dismissive! Instead of a polite response to a simple question, I was met with a condescending and aggressive tone, embarrassing me in front of other passengers. And when I reached out to customer service to report this unprofessional behavior, I received a generic, computer-generated response that did nothing to address the issue. Clearly, FlixBus doesn't care how their customers are treated. I've used FlixBus multiple times in the past, but let's be honest, the only reason I tolerated their poor service was the cheap price. The internet never works, the toilets are often out of service, and the buses themselves are filthy. I could overlook these things for a budget-friendly trip, but dealing with rude, disrespectful employees is where I draw the line. I've deleted the app and will never use FlixBus again. If you're traveling in Scotland, I highly recommend Ember, which offers a far better and more professional service. Do yourself a favor and avoid FlixBus--it's simply not worth the trouble. read more

FLixBUS hires racist bus drivers. Welcome back to Germany!

Mein Fazit: Meine neue Mitfahrgelegenheit heißt FlixBus! read more

Horrible. I would give 0 stars if I could. We went a day early to ask the bus driver if our 11 month baby could travel with a baby carrier and if he needed a ticket. He said it was fine and baby travel free. Based on that info we reserved tickets online for the next day from Luxembourg to Brussels. The next day , we artived two hours before departure , the bus driver arrived late and made us wait till the end of the queue with my baby in tow before telling us he wasn't willing to take us without the car seat even though we explained we checked the policy the day before. We then had to unpack all things from the bus. Three things. 2. It never specified what a suitable carrier or seat was for babies, if they need a ticket . We have lost 40 euros and lost time as well as endured humiliation all because we listened to one flix bus driver advice and had another horrible bus driver to deal with. I will never set foot on flix ever again. read more
