DO NOT GO HERE. I am…read moreextremely disappointed with my experience at Blush & Glow. I was in the middle of their Acne Bootcamp treatment, which I had already spent hundreds of dollars on, when they suddenly decided they would no longer provide me with services. I am a high school student who balances school, work, and other activities, so my schedule can change unexpectedly. Every time I needed to reschedule, I communicated with them and worked around their availability. I also paid the 50% cancellation fee every time I was charged without arguing or complaining about their policy. What is especially frustrating is that they were completely willing to continue taking my money and rescheduling my appointments, but once my schedule became inconvenient for them, they decided I was no longer a "good fit." I understand that cancellations, even when communicated with a reason, can be frustrating for a business. However, that does not change the fact that I consistently paid the fees they charged me and communicated with them whenever I needed to reschedule. What makes this even worse is that they stopped my Acne Bootcamp treatment in the middle of the process. I had already contacted them previously because I was concerned about my skin getting worse and sent them pictures asking if what I was experiencing was normal. I was told that it looked like purging and that it was normal, and I continued following the treatment and home-care routine as instructed. After everything I had already invested into the treatment, to suddenly be told that they would no longer schedule me was extremely disappointing and honestly felt very unprofessional. If they had concerns about my appointments, they could have communicated that with me instead of continuing to schedule me and then abruptly ending my treatment. I have school. I have work. I have other responsibilities. I should not have to have a completely open schedule in order to be treated with respect as a paying customer. I would not recommend this spa. I would strongly encourage anyone considering spending hundreds of dollars on a treatment here to think twice. Being halfway through a treatment and then having the service abruptly discontinued is not the experience I expected as a paying customer.

I was disappointed with my experience at Diamond Lash Beauty Lounge, specifically with how my…read moreconcerns were handled. I am a newer client and since my first appointment, I felt that my lashes weren't quite the style I was looking for. Initially, I didn't say anything, but when I finally mentioned that I wanted to adjust the style, I was surprised by the owner's response. She commented that the lash style I liked was "ugly" and stated, "We don't do that here." Regardless of personal preferences, I found those comments unnecessary and embarrassing, especially in front of other people. What made the situation even more confusing was that I left feeling unsure whether I was welcome to continue as a client. If the style I wanted wasn't something the salon offered, that would have been understandable, but the way it was communicated left me uncomfortable and uncertain about what my options were moving forward. To add to the confusion, I was informed that I would need to pay full price to have my lashes corrected, even though they had been done less than a week earlier. At the same time, my membership payment was scheduled to be charged the following day. (Which was going to cover my next two future appointments) Because I wasn't sure whether I should continue booking appointments there, I asked if the membership payment could be held until I received clarification from the owner. Which I still haven't heard back and my payment did go through. Overall, my biggest issue wasn't that we had different opinions about lash styles, it was the way my feedback was received. As a paying customer, I hoped my concerns would be handled with professionalism and kindness. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, and unsure whether my business was valued. After changing up my lashes a bit they are left very heavy and very itchy...

I debated on leaving this review, but after careful consideration and not even an apology (I didn't ask for a refund so that was the least that could have been done) I decided to leave this review and cancel my next appt with her. So please go at your own risk....the artist was nice and very professional so I trusted her technique. When I messaged her and sent her pictures she said she didn't touch the tail end of my brows and explained that this was due to a brow trim? I didn't know a trim removed hair ? well you can be the judge of that. First picture the left was after I left and the right was before going, second picture is when I left her place the first time, compared to this visit on the right. If a client sends a message right after a service with concerns, then it's in good nature as a business owner to at least apologize because obviously the client isn't happy, when you reply with a defense response AFTER sending pictures that's in very poor taste in my opinion. Thankfully brows do grow and makeup has done wonders but I paid to get a tint and wax to a avoid having to do this and save time in the mornings before work, needless to say that did not happen because I am having to work on them every morning until they grow out.
