We ate pizza that was ordered from the local area but the servers made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend for a local Cheyenne spot. read more

This place is getting one star all because of the AH bartender Josh. When we first got there, we were told if we had any problems with any of the games to let them know. My son and I both scanned our cards to play Skee Ball. The first time I scanned mine, it malfunctioned and rebooted. I tried a second time. It took credits off my card but shut down and rebooted again. It did not give me any balls. My husband went to ask for help. In the meantime, by the time they got back over to the game the balls finally dropped down. When the (kind) employee arrived, I told her, "Oh the balls just came down. I guess it finally decided to work." She asked, so I explained to her what had happened. She walked away and everything was good. I rolled two balls then it stopped recording the score and it showed zero balls remaining. My husband, again, went to ask for help. The girl was once again nice, but Josh came storming up pissed off at the damn world. He scanned his card without even talking to us to ask what was happening, rolled a ball and condescendingly said the points worked for him. Then stormed off again. I told the employee that it worked for the first couple balls for me too, but then it stopped working. I asked if I could just get a refund on the lost game that I didn't get to fully play. She said I'd have to talk to Josh to get it because she can't make cards. We talked more and she explained that there's a program in the game that if you don't roll the balls fast enough they count down to 0 so while I was explaining what the game did the first time it counted down to 0 balls. We talked about that being silly programming and I went on my way. I didn't ask about a refund again. My husband and I decided that $1.00 wasn't worth it. We were having fun, playing games with our son when out of nowhere, Josh came storming up to me again, shoved a card in my hand declaring, "There. Here's 200 credits. Just take them. The game was working just fine, but just take it anyways." I tried telling him the game wasn't working fine, thank you, and I don't need 200 credits. He kept turning back to me, verbally attacking me. Then he accused me of lying about even scanning my card and being unwilling to give him my card so he could check it. I told him he could check whatever he wanted and handed him my card. He scanned it and saw I had paid for the game, but of course he can't admit he's wrong so he yelled at me again declaring that I only paid for it once. I told him, "I know. That's what I said from the beginning. I said there was an error the first time and it did the reboot to the system code. The second time it went to the start-up code is when it took the credits." He didn't like being corrected so he proceeded to continue yelling at me, telling me that the game worked perfectly, cussed at me more, then trying to kick me out. I never once raised my voice at him or cussed at him. He kept saying, "Let's separate," but I never once tried to engage him. He kept circling back and verbally attacking me. The only time he stayed away is when my husband asked for a refund so we could leave. When a man tried to talk to him, he tucked tail and ran. I pointed out to him that I wasn't angry until he started giving me attitude and yelling at me. He claimed his employee came back and told him that I was yelling at her. I was confused about this because I didn't think I yelled at her but was willing to apologize. I did not see her again while we were there. We finished playing as quickly as possible because I had to get out of there because he upset so much and I was afraid he was going to come out and start attacking me again. When we were outside, my husband saw the original employee that we talked to through the window. I asked him to please apologize on my behalf because I could not step foot in there again. He went in to talk to her and apologize. She told him that she did not say anything about me demanding refunds or yelling at her. She also told him that she had already contacted his boss for how he handled the situation. We found out Josh lied about what she supposedly told him about the situation. We also checked the card and he lied about that too. He'd only put 20 credits, not 200. (Again, didn't expect credits but don't lie to try and make yourself look better.) The three younger ladies working there tonight were wonderful. If they were our only interaction, this would be a completely different review. Unfortunately, Josh's behavior was so abhorrent that it has to be a 1 star. I cannot give a higher review to a business that allows employees like that to work there. Also, our plan was to play a little bit, eat dinner there, then refill our cards to play a few more rounds. We regularly spend hundreds of dollars at arcades because it's something our family enjoys doing together. You only got $30 because of the "acting manager" who doesn't understand customer service and has the other employees afraid to stand up to him. read more

Had so much fun!! Came in with a cake for our small family to celebrate my Son's 15th birthday. Did the $10 Mondays deal and had a blast all around. The pizza and burgers were in point. Tried the cherry and vodka icee just for something fun. People kept coming by the table to tell us cute cake and wish my son happy birthday. Super friendly staff!!! Classic arcade feel. My fiancé and I stopped in here for an impromptu date, and as avid arcade-ers we are glad we did! They have several (probably dozens) or vintage and current pinball machines that were a real treat to play. They also had classic arcade games like Pac-Man and then some fun twists on the classics like Pac-Man 4P. Definitely a good range of games for all age groups and fairly priced. Everything was between $0.25 and $1.00 per player. They have an ATM ( handy!) and change machines. There is also a bar for the adult crowd and a small food selection with corn dogs, hamburgers and the like. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon and didn't have to wait for any machines. There were some teenagers and a couple of families, but it really wasn't crowded at all. We can't wait to go back! read more

I felt inclined to write a review based on the two appearances I made at this arcade. First, I'll start by providing a couple of positive bits of information. The atmosphere is incredible. It looks like an arcade. I appreciate the fact that the games which are geared for a younger audience are in a separate area from the classic coin-ops, bar area, and pinball machines. The staff is willing to compensate you if a game is out of order, or doesn't work properly in some capacity. That being said, it's important to reiterate that a lot of games are not in proper working condition. A ton of the pinball games have defective flippers (no pun intended), particularly the flippers which are located on the upper portions of the tables. If you're spending anywhere between 50 cents to a dollar per game, you deserve a quality experience. While I'm on the subject of pinball, I would go as far as to say that the panels were intentionally warped or grooved in order to direct the ball away from the flippers. I'm not sure if the Better Business Bureau would laugh at a claim such as this one, but I can honestly tell you that the trajectory of the ball doesn't often make sense whenever you're playing the majority of the pinball games, so I believe this particular business operates in a similar manner to the carnival game stands that are out to make a quick buck off of various marks. Several classic games (most notably the Pac-Man games and the multi-cade machines) have joysticks which could use a ton of maintenance. In order to reaffirm any readers that this isn't a random hit piece, you can see my high score name (ZWI) on a few high score screens for some shmups (shoot 'em ups), so I've legitimately tried to support this local business on account of being an arcade enthusiast throughout the years. Sadly, it appears that this place will never quite capture the essence of a true arcade. It's more along the lines of a tourist trap for those who are looking for entertainment in the downtown district. The beers are overpriced ($4.50 for a bottle of Fat Tire, just to provide an example). The staff seems disengaged, and you can't help but wonder if they're only there for a paycheck, as opposed to wanting to make this a reputable arcade due to a life-long love affair with video games. I didn't think the food was reasonably priced, based on what I saw on the menu. Families are better off taking their kids to a park or a museum. Video game lovers are better off renting games from the local library at no cost. It pains me to write this review, as I really wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, this is not the arcade you're looking for. Forgive me for ending this review with a nod to the Star Wars franchise. read more

New and classic, VR and ski-ball, Buck hunter and pack man, guitar hero and dance dance, shooters and racers, it's all here. Plus, tons of pinball. They have a great bar and food too. I logged back into my old Yelp account (which I haven't used since, like, 2015?) just to leave a review. Flippers has a multitude of amazing, retro arcade games, as well as some newer additions, for cheap prices. Most places would likely charge double per play, and I could've stayed for hours. The staff was quite friendly, and the food, while not the best (what do you expect from an arcade? A gourmet meal?), was cheap, and fits the arcade experience. The selection of pinball machines was great and overall, I think it was a hidden gem in the relatively small town of Cheyenne. Will certainly come back next time I visit. read more

This is a nice fun and relaxing place. I don't ever ties well that kids can go even though the name says it in the directory. From the outside you would think it's a bar. They do serve food to include some bottled beer. There was an amazing amount of pinball machine's that I totally enjoyed. That's their primary focus. I would go back to play pinball although they could use a little bit more lighting over the machines. Flintstones and Star Wars and Addams family were my favorite. read more
