We had the fried pickles which are amazing! They do spears instead of chips which is different and good. Got the chicken finger platter for lunch. These things are gigantic! They give you 3 and that's probably too much lol. Very good experience. Will definitely come back when In the area.

We originally were sat at a smaller four-person table right by the roll up windows towards the front of the restaurant, and the draft was so intense, we were freezing even with jackets on. We asked to be seated somewhere else, which they did (although that spot wasn't much better), and placed another couple at the original table. Within minutes they had the same issue... bundling up, switching seats around, etc. our waitress seemed on the younger side, and maybe even new. But she appeared visibly confused with just about every request we had. Her response was usually "uhhhh..... okay" followed by us getting wrong drinks/food. The food overall was decent. The chicken tenders were juicy and crispy and the ranch was great. Their fries were delicious. It likely wouldn't be my first choice in picking a place to eat, but I do believe it deserves a second chance. I'll be going back when it's warmer to hopefully have a different experience.

My husband and I come here with our family and dog often because there is patio seating and it's conveniently located next to the outlets. You just can't beat a pizza and beer on a nice day outside. And they keep it interesting at Tailgate, with a rotating selection of craft brews on tap and a pizza of the month. I am a creature of habit and will usually order the tailgate orange wheat beer (tastes even better on tap than in cans from the store!) and a hot honey pizza. On occasion I'll venture out on a limb and try the pizza of the month. For April 2026, the pizza of the month was ham, blackberry jam and ricotta. It was a hit for all of us (even my dog!) and I wish I could order this again and again. This last time we also ordered a flight to try some of the new beers on the menu. The most unique sip we tried was the TG blast, Tailgate's boozy version of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Go check it out while it's still there!

The beer is pretty good here and the pizzas always impress. We've tried a few different pizzas…read moreincluding their garlic white sauce, meat lovers, and whipped ricotta. Each one was better than the last. We have also gotten some of their apps and they didn't disappoint. The only thing that left us confused/annoyed is that they charge for ranch... I've never been charged for ranch after buying a $30+ pizza, $12 appetizer and $8+ beers. It feels like they're just nickel and diming you. This location has a cool atmosphere, and it's probably my favorite of all the Tail Gate locations. I love how open it is and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a good amount of TVs, making this a solid option to watch a game at. This place can be a nightmare to get to during the holidays, specifically when it comes to parking. There aren't enough parking spots in this shopping center and it can be a madhouse.

I ordered the ribs with a fresh salad and wedge potatoes -- incredible value, and easily one of the best deals in all of Nashville. Come on down every Wednesday night and enjoy fantastic live music. Best Philly in TN!! If you want the best Philly cheesesteak, do it the right way: American cheese,…read moreno debate. This cheesesteak is everything it's supposed to be--thinly sliced steak, perfectly seasoned, cooked right on the flat-top until it's tender with just the right amount of crisp. The American cheese melts into the meat, not just sitting on top but wrapping every bite in that creamy, salty goodness that makes a true Philly cheesesteak legendary. The roll matters, and this one delivers: soft on the inside, slightly crusty on the outside, sturdy enough to hold all that juicy steak without falling apart. Every bite is balanced--meaty, cheesy, rich, and comforting without being greasy or overwhelming. Let's be clear: American cheese is the move. It melts smoother than provolone, blends better than Cheez Whiz, and gives you that classic, nostalgic Philly flavor that hits every time. This is the kind of cheesesteak you crave when you want real comfort food--simple, honest, and done right. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just a proper Philly cheesesteak with American cheese, and it absolutely delivers.

3.5 To borrow a page…read morefrom my Salsa review: "Nashville has Dominicans?" I had a friend in town from Miami and I wanted to show him that Nashville had a Latin scene beyond Central America. A furious search later and we came upon 809. When I saw that the name and colors were legit, I felt good about bringing him here. We walked in on a Wednesday night and we were the only people in the bar. At the time, they were transitioning from being a bar & restaurant to just a bar. That meant that I would not be enjoying any mangu or sancocho. No me gusta. After sidling up to the bar* and having the bartender pick the wrong one of us to be Dominican, I opted to have a strong rum drink since I wouldn't be enjoying any food. She asked what I wanted and I told her to surprise me. Some blending later, I had a perfectly strong rum drink to make me feel like I was going to the islands. She told us that the weekend is the top time to check 809 out. From the ample bar space and pool tables in the venue, I thought that sounded right. She also mentioned that, to her knowledge, this was the only Dominican bar/restaurant in the Nashville area. That's just crazy. I know Nashville is still growing and the city hasn't fully settled into what it's going to be but... Imma need Nashville to hurry up and attract more of my peoples.** For right now, 809 is a solid 3.5 for me. The lack of food is a bummer and I'd need to see the joint in full swing to go up/down but for what I experienced, I appreciated what they're doing and I hope they have the business to support it. I'll be back. *An insane telenovela was playing above the bar, which made me all sorts of happy. **Depends on the day/circumstance.

They just opened their kitchen and are offering a variety of Dominican, Mexican and Central-American dishes. I tried their Sancocho (Caribbean beef stew) and Tacos (al pastor and Chorizo) which were excellent. Their tacos are very well seasoned and not too greasy. As an appetizer I recommend the fried plantains and fried yuca with Chicharrón. People are very friendly; do not be surprised if someone invites you to dance salsa or bachata. I really enjoyed this place; I highly recommend it.
