This may come as a surprise to those that find out we frequent here, but we have no pets! What we…read moredo have is a gaggle of little kids and a need for indoor activities! The parking lot is always busy in this shopping center which I know well because of Trader Joe's. You can find parking, but it's very busy and not my preference with a ton of little kids. Petsmart does have a dedicated spot or 2 for online pick up! If you haven't guessed yet - we come for the animals! We typically start with the fish! There is a large wall of them. They aren't all full and sometimes we catch floating fish, but mostly my littles don't notice. They have live crickets, but I'm the only one that notices those. Towards the center are the reptiles, birds, and rodents (at least that's what I call hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs). Finally there are cats for adoption on the other end of the store. They have a dog training area which I have yet to catch dogs being trained, but it's over by the fish! We can kill an easy 20 minutes here and it isn't far from our house. Sometimes they have more for sale than other times and they aren't always the best kept enclosures, but it does in a pinch and it's a lot closer than the zoo and aquarium! Sometimes we run into other parents doing the same thing so I know we didn't invent the idea. But it's a great way to entertain little humans in a pinch!

I came to Petland in early November to see if they had any Mini Schnauzer puppies, and they did, a…read moremale and a female. I wasn't interested in the male, but I was interested in the female. I asked one of the employees if I could spend some time with the female Mini Schnauzer in one of the many "let's get acquainted" cubicles that they have, and it was fun finding out what type of personality she had. I thought she had a great personality, and loved to play, but her conformation wasn't the best. I thought her head was a little small. While I was with the puppy, the employee brought over documents about the puppy, and I noticed that the puppy's sire was AKC registered, but her dam was APRI registered. I knew that this meant that this puppy was not eligible for AKC registration. Petland wanted $4,850 for her, so I knew this puppy wasn't the one for me. The price was way too much for a non-AKC puppy. She was cute, though. Parking was easy to get in the big and free parking lot that is shared by all of the nearby businesses in this long outdoor strip mall. All of the dogs looked healthy, but there were instances when I thought there were too many dogs sharing the same spaces. The store didn't smell like kennels and it was well lit. It looked like this Petland is more geared toward sales of dog and cats, or more like puppies and kittens. I had seen this store before it went through a big renovation, and there is now a lot of aisle space, but the inventory of food, supplies and toys seems lacking and is nowhere near the higher level that used to be available here.

I was told multiple times that they could. I showed up. Our family found the perfect mini Goldendoodle. Filled out all the paper work and when I went to pay was told they couldn't enter the card manually. Working in IT, I knew that was a lie. I showed them how to do it on the clover Point of Sale system they use. They then told me that the owner wouldn't allow it to happen. I called Mr Hunt, the owner, and explained my situation and what I was told. He told me his employees know better and without saying, called me a liar and scammer. I told him to pull the recordings, but I doubt that will happen. He then offered his stores financial services which are absolutely ridiculous compared to what I currently have. They lost a substantial sale and a customer for life. I'm also aware that these front counter workers make money from sales. I feel bad that the girl helping my family missed out on this commission, but unfortunately the owner prevented that. I could tell she was heart broken. I should have read all of the ratings and took them to heart before driving this way. The only way Mr Hunt keeps this store running is by manipulating people into terrible financial deals.

This was our first visit to CityVet in Roswell, and we were definitely impressed. Our normal vet…read moredid not have an appointment available on Saturday, so we found this place by doing a Google search. The thing that impressed us the most was that Dr. Raskin entered the room and literally sat on the floor next to our dog, giving her a chance to become comfortable with him. While the vet tech held our dog, Dr. Raskin examined our dog and explained everything he observed and what he would recommend in terms of treatment. While this place is a little further from our house, we would definitely consider returning and highly recommend Dr. Raskin at the city vet in Roswell. Cheers

City Vet is the 3rd veterinary clinic I have been to since moving to Roswell and I am happy to…read morereport that the 3rd time was indeed the charm! I brought my old lady, Hoshi, in because she struggles with chronic ear infections. I did not take her to the last vet that treated her because they were less than helpful with a situation that arose with my cat, so I decided they no longer deserved my business and looked elsewhere for a better vet. I wanted a vet who genuinely cares for my pets as much as they care about their profits and despite that being quite a unicorn these days, I do believe I have found that in City Vet. The entire staff from the receptionist to the vet tech to the vet herself was awesome! My girl felt so at ease that she did not tremble uncontrollably as she has at every other vet we have been to. Dr. Morris exudes love and compassion for the animals she treats and my old girl definitely picked up on that warm and loving energy. Dr. Morris took her time and thoroughly explained her diagnosis and treatment options. She also gave me some advice on things I can do to help prevent future flare ups and she texted me the next day to follow up on how Hoshi was feeling. No vet is cheap these days, but the overall cost of care lined up with my expectations for what was fair given her treatment. I absolutely LOVED City Vet and plan to make them my new go-to for all my furbabies going forward.
