We went here to celebrate our anniversary and the experience itself it was good and the people…read morethere were super friendly but the food was just okay. Nothing stood out. The focaccia bread was sort of dense. The salad course was good but portioning was very small in my opinion. The first main was brisket and grits. It was average, needed salt and some veggie to cut thru super rich flavor. Second main was pasta and that was most disappointing course. Really didn't taste like much and tiny portion. Third course was the best, slightly above average. Good steak with potatoes and veggies. Decent portion and good flavors. The desert was absolutely disaster in my opinion. It was mint chocolate chip ice cream and sort of thin crispy dough covered in cinnamon sugar. First of all flavors did not match and ice cream was half melted by the time we were served. Overall food was just okay. The drinks: I got gin cocktail that was good and red glass of wine with Taylor's recommendation and I have enjoyed it both. My husband got wine pairing and that was good as well. The personal was super friendly and helpful. The ambiance was great and course meal experience was great but food disappointed.

I love Saltwell. Every time I have come here it has been the best food I've ever tasted. And y'all…read moreknow I'm picky af. The decore is dreamy and homey while still being upscale and a really catered experience. The employees treat you like family and it feels like a warm hug when you spend time here. If you're hesitant because of the price don't be. I've never paid for an expensive dinner that has been so "worth it" before such as this one. I'd pay double for it (but please don't raise the price ) I love you Saltwell. As a token of my gratitude here is a haiku. Saltwell season well A delight to my tummy Cozy homey time I also wanna give them a shoutout for all the great things they're doing on social media and highlighting other small businesses. Also we got engaged here and they made it so magical!

The menu at Bella Sol Bistro is crazy diverse. Some would say a little too much so. You've got…read moreItalian (spaghetti pomodoro and fettuccini Alfredo) and Mexican (birria tacos) and Korean (Asian crispy pork belly) and Mexican-Korean (bulgogi beef tacos) and British (fish and chips) and Southern (shrimp and grits) and American (burgers and steak). Aghhhhh! It's a lot. I spent a lot of time just staring at the menu, trying to figure out what I wanted. I landed on the Korean Tacos, which is marinated beef bulgogi, red peppers, scallions, peanuts, wontons and gochujang sauce, all in soft flour tortillas. You get two tacos in each order. They were good but very sweet! I wasn't a fan of the flour tortilla. The people at my table ordered a couple of appetizers -- one of which I loved. The fried burrata was a big ball of cheese hanging out in a dish of vodka sauce, topped with cashew pesto, parm and served with crostini. It was lovely, and I wish I would have just ordered this and ate it all myself. We sat outside on the outdoor patio, which I would not recommend during the summer. There were so many flies! The restaurant did have some fan-things they put on the tables to shoo the flies away, but they only did so much. Next time, I think I'll just sit inside.
