However, they recently started charging $5 PER PERSON if you want to play any games, including ones you bring. The reason given is table space, but it doesn't take any more space to play games than you would be taking to eat your food. And nobody shares tables at restaurants with strangers anyway, they are already losing seating space by you dining there, just like any restaurant. It makes no sense. Wife and I spent $20 per person on our food, then another $10 for the table charge to play our own card game while we waited for the food, then tip calculated on top of that (i do 20%). So our $40 meal cost $60. Quite the markup. We were there for less than an hour and there were other empty tables the whole time -- so what was the charge for? Loved this place as a spot to gather with friends but if it's gonna be anywhere from $10-20 table tax before tip I can't justify it. It feels bad, makes you feel like you're getting scammed. Gonna find a new spot. Edit: I want to clarify my experience regarding the below reply. In the past we were offered to rent one of the businesses' board games for a flat fee. We were never charged before for bringing our own, nor charged per person in our group. I understand renting gaming tables but that rate last time, especially if scaled into a larger group and applied pre-tip, is just too high for us to keep coming back.

It's a mini strawberry museum (actual title, not just my words). There are strawberry decorations, strawberry pins, stickers, bags and clothes, strawberry ice cream, strawberry art to buy, and plenty of non-strawberry goods as well. They even have a take-one leave-one installation for PDX Sidewalk Joy. (Checkout the link for more installations: https://www.pdxsidewalkjoy.com/) The owner is very kind, patient and appreciative of your support. This shop has a very community oriented vibe. We bought our goods and decided to hangout to eat our ice cream. There are a few tables, so it has limited capacity, but I also like that it's small and not crazy busy. Very chill. It was a fun little experience, and we all agreed to go back again.

My sundae was layer after layer of flavor and texture and I was scraping the glass at the end to get every last bite. There are artistic details and touches everywhere - including the scalloped edge on the frame of the bathroom door! Go in the late afternoon if you can, the light at that time makes everything extra sparkly and sweet. Handmade strawberry-themed treasures are for sale all over the store, I came in on my birthday and found a pair of earrings that made my 13-year-old daughter day "They're so perfect for you!" And they have vegan gelato too, so I can bring my best friend here and we can both enjoy something sweet and spend a little time browsing together. To top it all off, the owner is one of the nicest humans I've ever met. It felt so good to be around her and in her space.

Our service was super friendly and fun. We will definitely come again the next time we're in town. Now the note. There is some confusion about bar seating. Ive seen a few negative reviews from people who were told there would be a wait when there were empty seats at the bar. This happened to us our first time too. Like other people, we were confused why we couldn't sit there. In our case we were told it was a 45 min wait. This time we had reservations and were shown to our seat right away. If Ravens Manor would just clear this up for people it would help eliminate some of those negative reviews. OH! One more critically important note: REDRUM is supposed to be spelled with backwards letters as it's a mirror image. Cmon Ravens Manor! LOL

Appreciated that they had the WiFi code displayed & not having to bother someone. Staff was also very nice! If you're looking for a quiet spot with quick bites, definitely worth stopping in.
