They use Facebook quite a bit which I'm not a Facebook person but they posted regular pictures so we could see what they were doing at any time of day. Their business is monitored by security cameras so I felt pretty safe that they could see what was going on in and around the property. I thought I could go see some to prepare myself for when I am ready. The Dog House in Manchester is a puppy store. They have a large inventory of the cutest, little puppies. They are actual babies at only 3-4 months of age. These puppies came from certified breeders. They claim all puppies come ready to go, with up to date vaccinations. As soon as I walked inside The Dog House I was greeted by hundreds of super fluffy and super noisy puppies. The lady named Iris handed me a puppy to play with, long before I asked for one. They are all so very precious and little. Some are more timid and others are spitfires of energy. It made me sad to see their water bowls were totally dry. My pup was drinking water till his very last days. I can't guarantee they are treated well. I would love to home all of these babies. Not this time for me.

However, the same staff member from May 8, 2026, came out again and rudely said, "One of you needs to go get your dog, and if he keeps acting like this he can't come back." She did not tell me where I needed to go to get Frankie, and when I asked, she simply pointed toward the door. What makes this even more concerning is that Frankie's report card stated he was "such a great boy," "well‑behaved," and "a pleasure to have," and that he "had a great time in the courtyard with his siblings." Clearly, the issue was not Frankie's behavior but the employee's attitude toward him. When I expressed my concern to the polite staff member behind the desk, instead of acknowledging the situation or saying she would inform management, she told me we could "try one more time," but if Frankie "acts up again," we wouldn't be allowed to return. Upon our consultation, I got the feeling he understood exactly what Bruna needed, and he recommended a four week board and train program. It's always a risk leaving your dog with a stranger for four weeks, it requires a lot of trust. I instantly felt like I could trust him, and you can tell he really cares for his client dogs and remembers all of them. He sacrifices a lot to constantly have dogs boarding in his home at overlapping times. Well, fast-forward four weeks, and Bruna is home. We instantly noticed a difference in her overall behavior. He told us he was going to teach her to relax, and that is literally what he did. She has been responsive to all of her commands, and at times when she breaks a command or does an undesired behavior, we now have the tools to deal with it. Walking her on a leash has become a great experience. She walks at our side at our pace, no longer dragging us down the sidewalk. I am beyond impressed with Doug's ability.
