They refused to do anything, and since I had taken it home before noticing the problem, I couldn't prove anything. Just check everything before accepting a repaired item back. The repaired charge port works fine and I have to live with the damaged screen.

I am happy to report that Canada Unlocking is the real deal especially if you have a locked phone from one of the carrier from Canada. I requested their service and in less than 12 hours I received the code by email and it works!!! Highly recommend as the price is 1/3 of what the cellphone company is charging! Canada Unlocking is also a local company in GTA and you are not dealing with someone in Europe or USA! Honestly, I wish I could give this place no stars. I have never received such poor customer…read moreservice. Firstly, I have my perfectly working phone's battery replaced. This was over 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine until I got home and the keypad was not working. Every time I tried to open my keyboard, it would not come up. I take my phone back and wait over an 1 for the guy to tell me it was an update that caused this issue. He then tells me he will look into the matter and message me when he has more Information. I wait a week and did not hear anything so I message him and ask if he has sorted out the issue? Nope, he can try a few things and hope it works. Tonight I try and call the store because Google says their are open from 11 to 9. I tried calling twice and receive a message "text only". Please keep in mind my phone has now not worked for 2 weeks. I explain the situation and say I am leaving overseas tomorrow and is there anything that can be done for me. I get told to message the guy who changed my battery. I can not believe I am being bounced around. I just want my phone to work. I have attached the conversation and how unprofessional this guy was. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! He explained to me that he would call once the phone is unlocked and all I had to do was connect it to iTunes on a computer. The next day the same guy called and told me I had to pay an extra $10 to get it unlocked. I asked why and he said he messed up on the prices. I went down and payed, and waited my time for it to become unlocked. Day 8. Still no call. I called there and a different man answered. He said that night at 8pm it would be unlocked and I would get a call. No call. I called again the next day and then he said 1-3 days. STILL NO CALL. I went down there to get my money back and I see on the wall "no refunds." Great. A different man was there who was older and much more rude. He asked for my receipt, I gave it to him, and he told me "this isn't our location this is Whitby handwriting". I told him I was 100% sure this was the location I came to. He didn't want to deal with me. He called whoever unlocks the phones and when he hung up he's says "it's unlocked why didn't you connect it to the computer." I told him I didn't receive a call and how was I supposed to know when it would be unlocked. Luckily I had my MacBook on me and I connected the phone. I inserted my virgin mobile sim and it worked. I asked the guy to cut my boyfriends wind sim because it was too large for the iPhone 6. He started to do so and it was very worrying... Luckily he finished and he had to actually sand paper it down for it to fit. We popped it in and it finally was working. Do I recommend this place? NO!!!! Never again. Go somewhere else.

Its a run around to get any straight information and delays for no reason. First of all the clerk ordered the wrong part for my phone (lucky thing I caught that and told him to change it). Next I was told to come pick up my phone as the repair would be done in in an hour or so. I even gave them to the next day as I was busy yet they said the part still wasn't ordered.Yet they found the part in the back area when they took a look? Confusing and unclear. Not to mention they almost lost my phone case and tried to tell me it was my fault (lucky thing he found it when he looked around). Now this last part is more on the business itself not this specific location (I hope). They have a 50$ non refundable fee you pay on top of whatever you need to pay for repairs. I was told it was an assurance fee....Yet whenever I go to other places like Infrared Repair there is no such fee. My first and last time there for sure.
