Called one day around 6 p.m. about getting a massage and they said they were booked until 7 so I said okay and left it at that. They call around 7:10 to ask when I'm coming in even though I never said I would, but decide to anyways go because my boyfriend suggested it would be a good idea and it was close to his house. We arrived and asked for a couples massage and they charge us, then tell us after they charged us that the couple's room is booked already and we should have gotten there earlier, so we have to be in separate rooms. The only reason that my boyfriend came with me was for us to get a couples massage but since they already charged us we just both had our separate massages. Today was my wife and I first time to do a 90 minute massage. Our masseuses did a good job for what we needed which was to relax after a long day of driving. I would have given a higher rating if not for two things. First, our masseuses were not giving much of a massage at all in the beginning but after some coaxing they did improve. Second, when you pay for a 90 minute massage that is what is expected. They started 7 and 10 minutes late, so my wife got 80 minutes and I got 83 minutes. Now to be nice to them, there was a power outage right before we showed up. This of course is out of their control. However, To do their job they don't need a lot of light but I'm sure it threw them off their game. Recommendations to owner. 1st: put sign please be quiet, and tell obnoxious clients/customers to be quiet. Respect other people relaxing time. 2nd: therapists should not stop their message to answer phone call or greet other customers. We are here to enjoy our 1 hour time. Not being interrupted from phone calls and whoever walk in. Hire a receptionist to do that. Tell your therapists to be quiet and not talk to each while messaging. Okay so let me start off by saying..THIS PLACE LOOKS CREEPY when you are driving by it on Fletcher Parkway! My bf found a coupon in the reader, so why not give it a try. We walk in and the lady explains the two different massages they have, body and feet where you enter in a room that is public and you leave your clothes on. Who wants a massage when you have to keep you clothes on? So we decided to get a couples massage. The lady informed us that there was only one man and one woman that are available to massage. So I HAD to take the man bc my bf refuses to be touched by the same sex. We enter into this room w/two beds. We undress and it feels like forever until they walk into the room. We waited about 15 mins before they even started! The man wore a Brazil shirt and was actually pretty good. One ANNOYING thing was the lady that was massaging my bf walked in and out of the room 6 times! It was such a disturbance! I thought she was getting hot towels the 6 times that she walked out, but my bf said NO she didn't. Who knows what she had to do. Maybe she had the runs! Other than that, everything was pretty clean. So this place is pretty close to where I live and it's one of the only massage places that I could find that was open late. They close at 10pm. When I first came in the woman at the desk looked at me frantically and I told her I had an appointment at 9:30 and immediately started rushing me to take a seat and sit down. I understand that sometimes the language barrier can be frustrating but she was way to stressed and freaking out and in turn would stress and freak me out. She told me it was $40 for a full body massage for one hour in which I said that's what I was looking for. She said that I needed to pay and tip before my massage which I thought was a little weird. I tip based upon how good the service is and I think it's a little weird since I haven't even had the service yet. After I paid she rushed me to the back. I understand that the language barrier can be a little frustrating but she was constantly being frantic the entire time I was there. When I finally got to the the massage room a gentleman came in and told me to completely undress from head to toe and left closing the door. When he closed the door I could hear all the other staff talking in the other rooms. The walls were paper thin! The man finally came back and began massaging me. I was so upset because I could still hear the staff talking and it was like that the entire visit. The masseuse was very nice..but the massage was not a massage at all. More like an intense rub down. He used his forearms for everything. When I get a massage I want some type of finger or hand usage, but instead he just rubbed my body with his forearm. It was extremely painful, and every few minutes he would say, "Are you okay, are you okay?" No I wasn't okay and this man had no skills at all. Only reason why I tolerated it was because I already paid and he was nice. No wonder they make you pay first, they know you probably won't end up liking it. They also put this oil on you which made me break out and gave me a light rash the following day. I was so depressed, I just wanted it to be over, and the last 15 minutes of my massage they put laundry in their dryer right outside the door so I got to hear that noise along with the talking noises from the staff . Once it was over the man gave me a small cup of water, you know those cups the dentist give you to rinse your mouth? That small. All in all worst experience ever. Called Fletcher massage and was able to get an appointment for a massage in an hour. This was the first time I had been to Fletcher massage so I wasn't sure what to expect. To be honest, from the outside I was a little skeptical as the outside looked very run down. However, I as greeted graciously, asked to pay first, and then had one of the best massages I have ever had from a gentleman named Terry. I could relax the entire time as Terry was not a talker - thank G-d! And his massage was excellent and lasted a full 60 minutes- not 50 or 55. I will definitely be back and will be asking for Terry. Worst place ever. My sister and I called before coming and they asked us to come, when we arrived they were loud and were complaining the whole time about staying a little late. I just went there and got a full body massage from Jessica! It was worth every dollar. They may not speak perfect English but with massages that good I'd learn there's! no offence I know English or any second language is difficult. I got a deep tissue and she used heels toes elbows hands etc... She was really easy to be around I will for sure being going back! I'm sure they are all very good there but after getting Jessica I doubt I'll ask for anyone else! On my right side was a heavy breather, probably asleep. His masseuse had very squeaky shoes on. Obviously I should of had earplugs in I'm thinking about now. My mom and I were visiting from out of town and decided to get a massage. We weren't familiar with the area and decided to go on yelp to find reviews on a good cheap Asian massage place. We decided to give parkway a try even though they only had 4 reviews, but they were consistently good. $40 for a full body massage was not bad for 60 minutes, plus a $10 tip. The place is no frills, but the girls are no joke. They have hands of steel. Yu-yen was a seasoned pro and really dug into me, I thought I had a high threshold for pain but I had to tell her to take it down a notch. She was really nice and and didn't take offense. They were very thorough and really massaged the pressure points and seemed to "pushed out the toxins" in my body head to toe, or at least that's what my mom told me. They also have a loyalty card, but too bad we weren't from the area or else I would have gotten one. Would definitely return when I come back to visit. I did not have a good massage experience here. The lady kept pressing hard on my spine rather than on the sides of it. She applied way too much pressure and the hand movements were very sloppy, my head was hit a few times during the movements. She also stepped out 4 times and one of the times she answered her phone and took a call. I did the couples massage with my boyfriend and the two ladies talked to each other the entire time. It was not relaxing. She also did a head/face massage and put her fingers inside my ears which I found odd this wasn't done to my boyfriend. She also dragged her hands across my face multiple times. I honestly should have stopped the massage right then and there. The only positive thing was the leg massage was okay but overall I do not recommend this place. Lastly, we did not want to tip based on the terrible experience but the women demanded a tip and seemingly got upset when we said no and I understand tips help them so we went and got our debit card but then they wrongfully charged my boyfriends card for a $30 tip when he asked to charge $20. I've been going to this place since it opened! I love the friendly staff and they special order the big bag of garden mints for me. Very clean! The only reason not 5 stars is because sometimes I have to wait a little longer even though I made appointment. Lynn does a great job, he was very gentle and caring. They are no longer doing the cards 10- 1 free or 5 full body, now you sign your name and phone number and they track how many times you come in and the owner will call you after you reached the mark to receive free massage. I like the card better, but i guess they're working on carbon footprint. This place is definitely worth every dollar spent! If you are not down for a really god rough deep tissue massage this is not and I repeat not your cup of tea. If you have horrendous god awful knots no one can help this place is a god sent. I have had multiple spine injuries and get severe Charlie horse type knots in my shoulders kind of like rocks the size of jawbreakers. I was a little nervous at first about the legitimacy of this place due to the cost, however I had the best 30 minute massage ever an older man with hot stones got rid of knots that no one at massage envy have even been able to break during a 90 min rub. I am on the computer all day I got the rub 3 days ago and still feel amazing. Before this run I have been in constant pain for an entire month.
