I gave this place 5 stars and here is why. This place was recommended by my wife's aesthetician. I used to participate in local triathlons so massage therapy was part of my recovery process so I have had a lot of massage therapy sessions. This place impressed me on the quality of massage, professionalism and atmosphere. This place is located of off the Lake Murray Boulevard so it was easy to find. Parking is a little tight but there is a shopping square next to it to utilize. The front desk person takes your payment before your session. They take credit card or cash. They also take reservations like we did for our couples massage we were both in the same room. The room was clean spacious and wall hooks to put your clothes. Our session was on Saturday afternoon and not too busy. It was pretty easy to get the appointment but there were appointments before and after our session. We did book the same day three hours before the appointment. They do couples massages, combo massages where the feet are involved and cupping massage. I recommend the 60 minute massage after 30 minutes your body will thank you! There is no music playing like I have experienced at other places but most of the time I'm snoring logs after 15 minutes in the session. Overall, we had a very relaxing session. The staff is very nice & the place is clean. But not formally trained massage therapists for sure. If you want to be rubbed down for an affordable price, this place might work for you. But if you're looking for a real masseuse that can treat your aches & pains with professional technique- skip this place. Also modest isn't highly valued- my butt was out in the open when she was working on my shoulders?!? This happened multiple times throughout the massage. Also, I added on cupping with silicone cups- once I got home I realized she hadn't done it correctly. Found this spa on Groupon. First thing I appreciated was the customer service we received on the phone. I've noticed that most "affordable" spas/salons have a common theme of rushing you while booking on the phone, Let's Relax Spa did not. The gentleman was very courteous and professional. The second thing I appreciated was the cleanliness of the facility. It is on the newer side, so I hope they keep it up throughout the years! Finally, I appreciated the deals and the price points offered. Very flexible. This was my first time getting a massage, I went with my boyfriend and we got a couple's package. He's had many massages before, and we both agreed that we were not satisfied with our massages. However, this could have been due to miscommunication/misunderstanding. My bf had mentioned that he had a tweaked back and wanted them to focus on that, but maybe they thought he wanted them to be gentle? We still left them a good tip. My husband and I had a great experience here. We took advantage of their special for $120 for a 60 min couples massage. They were prompt and polite when we arrived and showed us to our room right away. They asked if we'd like cupping (we both did!) and told us we'd get hot stones at the end as well. The room was very neat and clean so we laid down to get ready to relax! Both of our massage therapists checked on us several times to make sure we were okay with the pressure and everything. When we were done, they were waiting with water! He even informed us not to shower for a few hours after cupping which I had never been told before but after looking online it is a good precaution to take as the skin is very sensitive. Our masseuse were named Amber and Vivian (or so I think). They were friendly, the pressure was great, and we came out feeling amazing. She provided the full time, didn't leave the room, etc. She asked numerous times if I was comfortable, okay, if the pressure was okay, and truly gave one of the best massages I have had in a long time. Very thorough, inquired about areas of pain, gave choices of oils and lotions-seemed really sincere about improving my pain and range of motion. Just had an amazing massage experience this morning. I had come in randomly and got a foot massage here a couple weeks ago, that was great too. I just walked in and got service right away (was just after opening though), very clean and professional. I've had a lot of massages and this was easily near the top of the list. Will definitely be coming back here regularly. I neglected to get the masseuse name although I had her on my previous trip as well. Great technique, multiple check ins on pressure and worked around my injured shoulder without issue. Came in with severe lower back pain and left nearly 100% with minimal pain.
