It is reasonably priced. The lighting and music are nice. It's not always quiet, but it's still relaxing. They do more Asian style massage with firm pressure. For the price, it's worth it. read more

Just had a Full 60 minute massage of body and feet for $43 that felt wonderful! I have been coming here through the years, even back 10 years or so when this massage was $18... prices have changed overtime, but the massages are still good. You get every minute of the 60 minutes too, which is awesome! read more

The massage was ok I guess but the lady was really lazy with the draping so I was exposed frequently during the massage, and the lady had her phone out part of the time. It was incredibly uncomfortable because like, what if she was taking photos?? She didn't tell me her phone would be out and I didn't have the heart to say anything to the person there and left feeling incredibly violated. I decided to sleep on it before making a review and a day later I still feel really weird about the entire encounter. read more

Came here for a massage and they were chatty most of the time. Also, my lady kept getting up to greet the guests who were walking in. I get that those guests have to be greeted, but if I'm paying you to massage me for an hour, I expect to be treated for the full hour. That being said... the prices are unbeatable and overall cheap. But you get what you pay for... I probably won't be returning, but hopefully your experience is better than mine. read more

By far the best massage I've ever had! I am not the type to fall asleep at massages but I did! I did a foot reflexology with Peter 10000/10. He was super professional. read more

This is a great place! Had the best massage by Judy! My friend got a massage from Peter. They give you so much attention! I love the foot massage (#15) in the community room bc it's sooo affordable- you keep your clothes on and you get a full body massage with lots of attention on your feet... for a full hour! . The masseurs are very conscientious! read more

I'm so glad I found this place right in my neighborhood! I have been a customer for 2 years now, and go back at least once a month. If you're looking for a great straight-forward massage, look no further. Although the staff doesn't speak English as their primary language, that is more than okay with me. Why? Because I'm concerned about the technique and the quality of craft. And they know their craft. I've been to chain massage places like Massage Envy, or other 'spa' day spots, but I prefer non-fluff places like this: where I can walk-in and receive a high quality massage, without the expensive price tag! You can request hot stone, deep tissue, etc. They will be as light or hard as you request. They will concentrate on trouble spots. All this for less than Happy Head or Massage Envy? Yes please! It's the best deal I've found in a while. Time and money well spent. They deserve 5 stars! I'll be back, as I am, each month. Happy customer. :) read more

Such a sh**thole. Disgusting trashy greedy screaming at me in Chinese or smthg like that because she didn't like the tip. Hello I paid for the massage as well. Don't go there. The massage itself was really bad. I had a female. I wanted to tell her to stop and leave before she was done. Someone has to shut them down read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. The massage was ok. Which by massage standards is hard to do because every massage should be, at least, pleasant. But this was ok. Just ok. Imagine drinking flat soda that you found in the garage with no flavor. The soda is still Slightly bubbly, still slightly sweet but muted down. That's what this massage was like. And then this mother fucker had the nerve to say I should tip more than I offered! I offered 20% which is a solid tip for a bull shit massage and then she declared it wasn't enough. Then when I demanded my card back, she boxed me in and said I couldn't leave until I tipped her. Wtf!!! I almost drop kicked an lady tonight. I couldn't believe how uncomfortable and unreasonable that whole situation was. I highly recommended you go to another place. Any other place. read more

I was looking for a quick massage at the spare of the moment, so I was pleased to find Fletcher Massage was open during these COVID times! When I called I was told that same day appointments were available so I scheduled to arrive within half-an-hour. When I arrived, I was surprised that no one wore a mask! A box of hand sanitizer and other cleaning items were sitting at the entrance, but I was not asked to clean my hands and I was already wearing my mask. After inquiring whether or not proper sanitary measures and safety precautions had been carried out, to include clean sheets on the massage table, and clean room disinfecting, the response was a half-way answer. Not sure if the half-response to my strong safety concerns was due to the slight language barrier or not, but I was told the sheets were new, and the therapist proceeded to put on a mask and showed me to the massage room. I decided to go ahead with the appointment because my shoulders and neck were so tight, but I went for the upper body/back message instead of the full body so I was face down the whole time. I must say, the message was great! He worked out most of the tension build up in my neck and shoulders and asked for a tip afterward as I proceeded to the door. I gave three stars due to my unsteadiness concerning the cleanliness of the facility and proper COVID-19 regulations that were not clearly carried out as far as I could tell. read more

My Bae and I come here for the couples massage, it's $80 for an hour for two people. And it's always over an hour, I'm guessing that people who say theirs were 45 minutes or whatever came here with unrealistic expectations and were exaggerating. This is a little neighborhood Chinese massage shop, not a hotel spa experience, you really need to keep that in mind and adjust your expectations downwards accordingly. It's true that some of the staff don't speak English, I'm not aware that that is a crime, there are staff here that do and they can step in and assist. My Bae understands Chinese, so I've never had an issue. Everyone's friendly enough, I don't need people to be fake nice to me while I'm getting a massage, I actually like it when it's silent in the room to be honest, it's more relaxing imo. The massage itself is good, they do check in with you about the pressure, and if you don't like the oil, you can speak up and tell them your preferences, no one is a mind reader. Bae always instructs them about how to use the oils, you're the customer, advocate for yourself in advance to avoid any problems. The man that works here does have much stronger hands than females, he can really workout those knots, especially when he gets on the table for leverage. I would say on average they've gone about 70 to 75 minutes per session, and we pay for 60, this is why it's good to pay and tip in cash ;) read more

I was looking forward to this massage for a long time, I've been putting off getting one because my schedule didn't line up. Well, today was the day--some clients I had recently done some work for spoke highly of this place. They mentioned they even take walk-ins. So, naturally, I was excited. I arrived to a warm welcome and an open room, however, just as I was going to get undressed for my massage, the host tells me I have to leave, that they're "too busy." Feeling confused, I left immediately. There was only 1 car in the parking lot...how are they busy? I hope on my next visit I can get an actual massage and maybe change my rating. Def not the first impression I was expecting from what I've heard. Update: I figured I would give them a second chance, and this time they did not disappoint. I had a masseuse by the name of "K.K." One valuable lesson I've learned in life, never judge a book by its cover. That saying applies directly to K.K. --her size is deceiving, she's an absolute power house. I had a super tight back and shoulder area, and she helped relieve a lot of that tension. I will be returning. Thank you for all your help!! read more

This was our first time here for a couples massage and my husband got a massage for the first time ever from Emily, and I received a massage from the man that works there. Both of our treatments were fantastic. Emily was very thorough with explaining the different types of massages she was giving and which parts needed the most therapy. We will definitely be coming back here! read more

Didn't speak well or understand English. Couldn't communicate what we wanted. Didn't listen or understand our request. Dark. Felt more stressed afterwards. I felt it was a waste of money. The man who massaged me hands were rough like sand paper, and smelled like an ashtray. Gross! I couldn't relax cause of the stink, I have allergies and asthma and I felt sick. My nose now running in my mask,, disgusting. It was sloppy all the way around, not a professional massage as expected. Then they waited at the door, expecting a tip. I tipped but nowhere near my norm.. The massage alone cost more then enough cause it wasn't worth it. I always tip well when I receive the service expected. Very sad walking out, feeling I needed a SCRUB BATH and another massage elsewhere. Sorry, but I do NOT recommend. read more

Summer is the best, very deep tissue massage, walking on you back is amazing.. facility is clean and professional. Will keep going back..

Sonny has been my masseuse for a few months now. I came in originally with a curve in my spine and the surrounding muscle and tissue very tight. It was suggested that I get a 90 minute massage. Sonny worked every muscle and I left the first day with relief. I have been going back regularly and have gained range of motion in my neck that I haven't had for years. Though I was reluctant at first I allowed Sonny to walk on my back to stretch my body even more intensely. Sonny is a professional. I highly recommend Fletcher Massage and especially Sonny. read more

I would avoid this place. I went in for a massage and never got one! They told me to wait 5 mins and that's fine. Then 5 turned into 10 which sucked but that's not the reason I left. I was lying there almost naked and I hear yelling. The yelling gets louder and louder and then it turns into screaming. Two massage ladies are straight up fighting, sounds of slapping and shutting the front door in anger. They were speaking in another language so I didn't know what they were fighting about it was obvious an argument. I did not want an anger lady touching my body so I got out of there and luckily got my money back. The energy was bad. read more

I just has a massage with Peter. Very good. I was having pain in my lower back and calf. He really knew how to target the right spots to remove the tension. They use hot oil that really helps with the muscles. I have gone there several times. The cost is very reasonable. read more

I tried this place in the hopes of getting a relaxing massage. Relaxing it was not. The male masseuse applied what, at best, can be described as extremely hard pressure. I wondered if he was trying to hurt me. He actually succeeded in making me yelp in pain more than once, which affected him not at all, and actually left bruises on my shins. I'm no fragile lady, either; I've birthed three kids and know pain. I'd love to try this place again because likely not all the masseurs are this bad, but I can't for fear I'd get the same thug again. Try at your own risk! read more

Fletcher Massage - Shin bruise from crazy firm pressure. - Massage Near Me - La Mesa, California

My husband and I have gone to this massage establishment on our long drive to Mexico about 4 times now. We always look forward to it. It is not fancy, it does not smell like flowers, they do not give you fancy towels... They are friendly, they have always taken us (with reservations) on time, it is an inexpensive treat, it is clean, they have nice music, comfortable tables, very experienced and professional people, massaged personalized (strong or light touch) bring cash, pay before the service and tip them well -they deserve it! read more

Clean/Affordable/Friendly They take credit but cash is better. That sums it up pirty good. This is a new place and everything looks neatly put together. The waiting room has a professional look to it and that continues to the foot massage area and the private body massage rooms. The price is a lot like the others $20 for feet $40 for body. However it has one thing extra I like. !THE PUNCH CARD! And there is only 5 times to get a free massage. They don't mix and match you get separate punch cards for foot or body $20 for a foot massage. The foot massage is mostly your feet but still some body time (cloths on) in a shared room with 6 tables. This was GREAT on my feet. But if you really want a massage for your body pay the twenty bucks for the full massage. My gf told me I fell asleep, I'll have to take her word for it but she might be right :P $40 for a body massage. The body massage it defiantly worth the money. I got my full time but it felt like more. The rooms are inviting, warm, and have a nice smell to them with soft music playing. The massage itself was GREAT. I would say the only thing lacking was the time spent on the foot, but no big deal for me I got 20 bucks for another hour. So how did we (me and my GF) end up at pkwy massage? Dumb luck. We were spoiled with massage intill 8 months ago. Our friend was taking massage classes and we were getting a massage every week. Intill she moved to Colorado! Then last week we thought it had been long enough so we started looking. We went to three others, two of them we did not get anything done because they looked half assed and dirty. But at some point everybody has to go to COSTO. We saw this place, which does not look like much from the outside, and said why not. Now where two trips in and I think I found a place to get my weekly massage back! read more

Booked an hour Swedish couples massage. It was excellent! My husband and I will definitely be back.

This place was recommended via a conversation at the gym. Both individuals in the conversation had really good experiences here as well as some professional knowledge of massage so I valued their opinion. I have to say that my experience was very satisfying and the service is well worth the value. read more

I would recommend Fletcher Massage to anyone looking for a great massage. Appointments are easy to book and response if fast, they are always ready for walk-ins, no appointment necessary. They offer many services and can handle large groups or 4 or more at a time. They have multiple location so resources are not a problem. Stop by and them it out. read more

I've been going here for years, always a great way to relax. The price has gone from $20, to $25, and now $40 for a foot massage. It's the same price all over town though. There all great, but sometimes I get Peter, and he actually does reflexology too. Safe, clean, and little wait. People call to book a time, but really, it's a walk in business. They now offer chair massage by the minute. Don't think your just going to get your feet rubbed, although half the time is spent doing just that. They start with your face, shoulders, then your feet. Then finishing with your back. I usually leave a $15-$20 tip read more

I just had the best massage of my life by Kevin!!! He is truly professional! Not like rest of massage places. You would be amassed! He is trained and it shows. He is very delicate. Whenever I can't get fit in last minute with my massage lady I ALWAYS come here! This is definitely an Asian style massage place so cash over credit card is appreciated and discounted in price and yes they are expecting a decent tip after the massage but it's always phenomenal!! So I always tip $15-$20! A mans touch and massage is just different from a women's and I love that they have men here. And if you're looking for that deep tissue don't be afraid to ask for a deeper pressure! I've recommend this lotto a few friends and they haven't been disappointed either! Oh and they're open until 10pm, which is great for people who work late! read more

OMG how Nasty Dirty this place is!! First of all they want you to tip them before they have done anything. Then after my terrible massage the girl asked me if I wanted a better massage I could come to her apartment down the street. Are you kidding me. All this because my lower back hurt. Her breath smelled like Old Garlic Fish!! So Disgusting never will I ever go back. Stay away this place is how you get sick! Unbelievable. How this place passes any health board test is beyond me. I wasn't there for a happy ending as the girl that massage me indicated would happen if I went with her to her apartment. read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We went in there for two 20 dollar foot massages...After our rushed massage had ended, we handed them 8 dollars cash as a tip (20 percent tip)I was very surprised when the two men shook there head at me and said it was not enough of a tip. They then preceded to show me other people's receipts with personal card information of how much they have tipped them compared to ours even though those customers had spent more money. They then tried to hand me back my receipt and demanded I wrote in a larger tip on my card receipt. Appalled I told them I would not come back there ever again and walked out leaving them no tip. They then followed me out to the car asking for the eight dollars. I have never been so disgusted. As a small business owner myself, this is unacceptable. Everyone beware of this sketchy place. read more

I recently got a full body massage from Peter. He did an amazing job. I was in a quiet, private room. Highly recommend!!

First of all let me start out with saying this was my first time ever going to Fletcher massage. I have been to similar massage places, but never to this place so I wanted to try it out. I would describe this massage place as a nicer type of hole in the wall massage place where you can go to get a cheap massage. I got an hour massage for 30$. They ask you to pay before you get your massage. If you are paying with a card you tip then. Not knowing how this massage was going to turn out I tipped 20 percent. After my massage was over I told the lady who gave me my massage that I tipped her on my card. She then rudely asked how much I gave her and when I told her how much I tipped her she rolled her eyes and got upset and walked away. I was shocked how rude she was towards me. I am a very kind sweet person. I always say thank you and treat people with respect. I always tip. Tipping has turned into something that people just expect when truly it should just be done when someone has done a good job and you want to show them appreciation. I am blown away of how disrespectful she was towards me and of how ungrateful she was. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS MASSAGE PLACE AGAIN! to this massa read more

I used to really love this place and I would come at least once a month, But on my last visit I felt super uncomfortable after I paid for a massage, As I was paying and Tipping one of the ladies comes up to me and goes that's it you're not gonna give me more... I paid well over the 15 to 20% threshold and honestly I did not appreciate that whole interaction it felt really uncomfortable in that moment. I personally can't really see myself going there again after that but we'll see because I really do like most of the other staff. read more

My mom and I needed a massage after my wedding. We were able to book a same day full body massage for a very decent price (90 minutes for $60 each) but that's where the pros end. We used the couple's massage room and both mine and her masseuse were male. Within the first 5 minutes a woman started yelling in the hall in another language and one masseuse left the room and went out into the hallway with her for a few minutes while we heard their entire exchange. The guy finally came back and the two males began talking to each other. They continued to talk and giggle amongst themselves for a few minutes until I finally asked them to be quiet. You can hear everything in the massage room (the doorbell when people come in, conversations in the hall, the cling of hot rocks, sinks running, etc.) so it's really not relaxing at all. On top of that the two men were so rough on us we felt worse the next day, had bruises/sore muscles and my entire back was sensitive to touch. There is no glitz and glam here (we were given water in a tiny dixie cup, and there were fake roses on the massage beds) so if you're looking for a spa treatment, this isn't it. Ultimately, I will not return. read more

decent price, decent massage, clean place, most of the staff are friendly. Have had one Woman twice for the full body massage and she keep asking for more of a tip. The massage was $60 and I gave $15 as a tip and she felt it was not a enough of a tip and asked for more. read more
