I recently moved from Hayward to Morgan Hill, and wow--what a difference. I absolutely love it…read morehere. One of the best parts is having VCA San Martin just 10 minutes from my house. I brought my baby Lulu in and got connected with Dr. Zhen, and I'm so glad I did. She's super cool, attentive, and I really like her vibe. You can tell she genuinely cares. My dogs had a bad habit of being spoon-fed (yes, my fault ), and she gave me simple but effective advice--stop hand feeding and just leave the bowl out. And honestly... she was right. My senior dog now eats so much better. Before, it was such a struggle and I had to hand feed all the time, which just isn't realistic now that I have a baby. That advice alone made a huge difference. She also let me know Lulu was a little overweight (lol), and reassured me it's okay if she skips a meal or two--they won't starve themselves. I appreciated the honesty. Since I liked her so much, I also brought in my brother's dog, Belly Belle, and stuck with Dr. Zhen for both. She did dental cleanings on both dogs--though I was a little sad Lulu had to lose two teeth, I trust her care. Now the downside--and it's a big one--is the wait time. Every visit I've had, there's been a noticeable delay. The last time I brought Belly Belle, it took almost 30 minutes just to be seen after checking in, which is really frustrating. I understand things can run over, but it feels like there's not enough buffer built into their scheduling. When you plan your day around an appointment, that kind of delay adds up--especially with pets and a baby at home. Overall, I really do like the care and I plan to stick with Dr. Zhen. My 12-year-old senior dog is scheduled next--he has a lot going on (alopecia, dental issues), so I'm hopeful to see what kind of magic she can work for him. Just really hoping they can improve the wait times, because that's the one thing holding this place back from being a 5-star experience.

When I arrived at my appointment, I filled out paperwork and was seen right away. I never waited for than a few minutes, and in just a few minutes the staff gave my cat a microchip, his vaccines, and also shaved some mats off of him. Then the vet did a brief check up and I was out the door. I was so impressed at how friendly and efficient everyone was! I'm so used to needing to wait 30+ minutes for any appointment I schedule (human doctors, car service, DMV), that I was so pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and efficiency of the staff here. Definitely bringing my pet back!

I needed to take my Dalmatian in recently and got the relief Dr. who did a battery of test and X Rays. Dr Danny did another X Ray and found some other analysis. Dr Danny called me and asked if I can come in so she can show me what her concern was. My point, I found Dr Danny extremely knowledgeable and her concern for Finn was paramount. I would highly recommend Dr Danny, she is fantastic and thorough. Front office staff is very good especially Jeanette, Ruth, Maureen. Highly recommended this veterinarian.

My cat has had severe dental issues, and we recently found out that he has an autoimmune disease and needed all but a couple of his teeth extracted. After being overcharged numerous times and visiting multiple other vets without ever getting a real, long-term resolution for his severe mouth issues, I honestly don't know what I would have done without Dr. Harika. Dr. Harika has ultimately helped save my cat's life and has given him the opportunity to finally start his healing journey after being let down by other vets. He is incredibly compassionate toward animals, and I have complete confidence in him and his entire team. Thank you so much, Dr. Harika and staff, for taking such great care of my cat and dog!

Dr. Harika has been an amazing vet to Dooso. I have also met with the other veterinarian on staff,…read moreand he has always been incredibly kind and helpful as well. Dr. Harika treated Dooso from the time he was about three months old. I eventually stopped coming only because I moved to Santa Clara. Around that time, Dooso developed SEVERE allergies that seemed almost like an autoimmune disorder. Another vet recommended that I take him to a dermatologist, so for the past six years, that is exactly what I did. And when I say dermatologist prices, I mean dermatologist prices. One exam was around $350 before medications or testing. We paid for allergy panels, immunotherapy drops, antibiotics, steroids, Cytopoint, Apoquel, Atopica, which is VERY expensive and constant skin testing. I was spending close to $1,000 a month, and Dooso would still have major breakouts every few months that required another round of appointments, steroids, and antibiotics. After years of this, I was exhausted and could no longer justify the cost when he still was not getting lasting relief. I decided to make the drive back to Morgan Hill to see Dr. Harika because he has always been honest and upfront with me. I was completely honest and told him, "I'm exhausted. I'm paying around $1,000 a month, and this is CRAZY." Dr. Harika and the other vet gave me their honest recommendations. They removed all the unnecessary medications and started Dooso on two basic medications. And what do you know? Dooso is now itch-free, his hair has grown back, and he only needs to visit about every six months for bloodwork and checkups. After six years of paying specialist prices, two basic medications finally gave him relief. We recently had another big scare when Dooso developed a large lump on his face. Of course, I immediately assumed the worst. Dr. Harika started him on antibiotics, followed up with several rechecks, and thankfully Dooso is now healthy and has even gained five pounds A huge shoutout to the vet tech who always gives Dooso treats because he absolutely loves her. Also, shoutout to the girls at the front desk who are always patient with me while I bring in my three-year-old and my very loud 18-month-old. I truly appreciate everyone at Morgan Hill Animal Hospital. I will gladly drive 30 minutes to bring Dooso somewhere that genuinely cares about finding comfort and solutions for pets instead of just trying to charge people for unnecessary treatments.

It's very important when you are sending a pet overseas to any country to get educated on that countries protocol and what and who you need to partner with (at least a year before) so you can set up a timeline for your pet to be ready to go. So far so good. This is a partnership with the providers that is important to follow clearly and directl
