I began exploring all kinds of programs with various trainers around the idea and Primal Canine stood apart from the get go because: (1) Erin is an amazing, kind and professional person to work with. She is prompt, yet not pushy. She worked with the facts and empathy for our needs and budget to help us get to the right program. (2) The trainer we were assigned to was forthcoming, efficient and excellent with the training. He was clear with what we could expect and what the constraints were. (3) Primal Canine is local to where we live, and we really preferred to go with a nearby small business, as both one we could support and build a relationship with, and for convenience. Within the 3 weeks of board and train our puppy went through, he came back with solid foundations and ability to understand and respond positively to basic commands. Primal's role does not end with the program - they constantly support with our needs and questions even after graduating from B&T, and actually offer a lifetime of resources to help us grow and flourish with our new best friend. We could not be happier we went with Primal and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to build a rewarding relationship with their dogs. When was the last time you went to a human emergency room and didn't have to wait more than two hours? The only cases that don't have to wait two hours come by ambulance. This place is utterly amazing. The staff is super professional. They take care of everybody wonderfully and yes, just like all medical whether animal or human, they are desperately understaffed. Let's give a big shout out to these amazing caring professionals Dr. Macy Dr. Akol, Dr. nicki Dr. Lahue, Dr. Kalff Dr Pressel all the doctors I forgot and the best nurses in the entire world. I've been coming here for over 30 years and only receive the best, most attentive, kindest and gracious of care. Folks need to understand how long things take and what the word triage means. I am a seasoned dog owner who has spent many hours and has had many visits to the ER over the years. However this last visit was brutal. We arrived at 830 am and didn't get fully seen and discharged for 12 hours ! 12 hours is insane to make someone with a sick animal wait. At least be up front on check in and say. You are likely looking at 5-6 hour wait. At least that way you can make a call and decide to not put your already sick animal through more stress. I get how triage works. Most pressing cases are seen first. But to have us come back into the exam room several times just to sit and wait for at least an hour or more each time is wild. The tech calls me and ask me if I've left and I say no I'm right outside and by the time I've come in they have forgotten about us and stick us in an exam room only to sit and wait another chunk of time. The vet was lovely and she helped diagnose my dog and set up a treatment plan. That was the only plus.

She had stopped eating and drinking for weeks and had recently begun having seizures. As difficult as it was, we knew it was time to let her rest peacefully. Before bringing her in, I called MedVet because this was my first time going through the euthanasia process. The woman I spoke with was incredibly informative and compassionate. She patiently answered my questions and even provided a price range so we knew what to expect. When we arrived at the emergency hospital emotional, they assisted is right away. The registration process was quick and easy, and Sophie was taken back for an evaluation within just a few minutes. Soon after, we were escorted to a comfort room where one of the veterinary assistants gently explained that the doctor agreed it was time to let Sophie go. Once we made the decision, the staff brought Sophie back to us and gave our family all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. They even gave us a button to press whenever we were ready for the doctor to come in, which allowed us to move at our own pace without feeling rushed. When we were ready, the doctor came in and was incredibly kind and compassionate. He carefully explained each step of the process before administering the injections. Although it happened quickly, it brought us comfort knowing Sophie was no longer in pain or suffering. Afterward, the doctor respectfully took Sophie and explained the next steps. Every staff member we encountered treated us with kindness, compassion, and genuine empathy during one of the hardest moments our family has ever experienced. About a week after Sophie's passing, we received a handwritten condolence card in the mail. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much to our family. I cannot thank the team at MedVet enough for the care they showed Sophie and our family. I highly recommend MedVet to anyone facing such a difficult situation. They made an incredibly painful experience as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be.

My primary vet submitted an online form for her outpatient admission. Then, it goes to a dead end. I had been chasing these people over a week to setup an appointment and all I get is "we cannot access the emails with the radiology department" and they will give a call and this call never came. When I mentioned that no one is calling me back, the audacity of these people to say then bring your pup to the ER - like why? My pup is not in an emergency, why these shady people are pushing patients to come to ER - so you can make some extra bucks. Please go get a life and do a decent job in what you care to do. I will never recommend this place. Take you pup to a place where they give a damn.

While I hope all of our fur babies will never need to come here, sometimes things happen and unexpectedly. I want to be transparent that I was at SAGE earlier in the day-- let's just say I don't like the route they wanted to go and I went to VEG few hours later. As we know, cats are masters at hiding pain and discomfort. The below review was from July 15, 9pm at night. My 5 1/2 cat Bebe's symptoms: 1. Not eating or drinking and it was 95 degrees 2. No potty at all (I have a litter robot, plus two other cats) I brought her in after 15 hours of these symptoms. A bit "quickly" but as I mentioned it was hot out and my girl LOVES food. About the vet: I called beforehand, very nice gentleman answered, didn't rush me, didn't treat me like another number in the queue. I also want to call out, no AI crap! A real human answered when I called I didn't have to select "press 7" etc. I arrived about 20 mins after the call and was greeted warmly by the front desk. Extremely clean place, coffee and tea bar, freshly baked cookies! We were promptly given a room and Dr Molly came in within 15 mins of our arrival after the nurse took vitals. Dr Molly is a pure assets to this vet. Before she started talking, she sat down on the ground to not overwhelm my cat. Her voice is very sweet, she understood my concern and gently got Bebe comfortable. Treated her like a little scared child vs just some animal with no feelings. She got to Bebe's level vs throwing her on the metal table. Dr Molly listened to every little trivial thing I said about the past 24 hours because I wanted to be transparent and she determined we should do an x ray and blood work. I was promptly given the link via phone to pay + outline of costs, clear! I did have to wait about 2 hours for results of the xray due to the hour I was there (9pm to midnight), the results were sent out for review. I received them back and they are the clearest x rays I've ever seen, better than a human hospital, seriously. They send you a live link to download them too. Diagnosis: she came back in, same calm voice vs the chaos she had in the vet (few emergencies popped up with dogs) while I was waiting. She gave Bebe fluids and anti nausea injection and an antibiotic injection. I got home 1am and she started eating! I couldn't believe it. Her red blood cells were a bit high (inflammation), thank god no blockages. What I think was wrong: we had a little stress when I got home with a big box and she ran between my legs and got stressed running into them + the door slammed same time she got freaked out running into my legs hard.

Then the said I have been caring you Bills for a long time. What that is not true you never cared us , your office manager has debit the billing and set a bill paid . Since then we have used Steinbeck Dr D was the first .he was amazing.. he always explained what he needed to do ... then we met most of the other vets Dr "S" was the main person... if she was not available. Now we see the other vets and mostly the are female, no matter what time of the day or night. Years ago one of our horse hot spooked by the ground keeper drove the tractor fast by his stall .. It's 9:00 and Dr " S " came out . The cut was deep he could not walk to a covered barn to treat him... we had a conex we stored hay .. it was empty, she asked could you get him to go inside of the 5-by12 . I said he trusts me .. the 3 of us and a / new vet that joined their team... flash light were no going to do what she needed. She brought new team member, get their truck and point the head lights into the conex. Dr Sarah De Santi was so amazing in rain cold wind doing the secures one by one the horse . It must have been 11;00 he was back in his stall I think the other one was Dr Kalea . Tried to start the truck but the lights been in on so long it would not turn over. Dr Kayla would come out to tube horses when they colic... Star could tell it was a vet driving in to the stables just by the sound of the engine. Dr Carlton has done a few surgeries on our horses as well . Removing cancer on the back side of horses. What is so amazing is that everyone that is on Team Steinbeck, the front office Nicki who seams to know who is were who is available to come in an emergency... forwards calls to someone in the field, gets script refilled by a Vet and has it ready by the end of day to pickup Then the techs that come out with a vet that knows what they need to assist and usually has what they have it in hand as they request it. If you asked a question she became irate and raised her voice. She spoke quickly and did not clarify anything. We are 60 and need to give our dog shots twice a day with multiple other things to do. It required more than a 4 minute conversation for his care. Some people are not cut out to be a Vet. Avoid at all costs.

They could clearly see between my face, and her, that this was serious. Although our sweetie passed, they did everything they could, and kept me in the loop the entire time. The physician gave us great peace by telling us what had occurred, there was nothing we could have done, and even if we'd gotten her there earlier they probability to survival was low. In an extraordinarily difficult time they give my wife and I peace knowing we'd done what we could and it wasn't our fault. I had a mentor tell me, "why and what if are what keep you up at night." They did everything they could to shut down those difficult thoughts. While this is a sad outcome, I can't think every person who helped me and our pup last night do what they could. I'll never forget how you helped me through one of the most difficult processes of my life and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
