I also discovered a few things that I may go back for later on. The store had a hodge podge of various items. They had some simple OTC drugs and personal items. They sold postcards and souvenir items. They had a lot of Cheerwine merchandise including some locally made Cheerwine jelly and barbecue sauces. A good selection of local and state college and university gear was for sell. They offer embroidery services that they sew in-house! They sell ice cream, desserts, and soft drinks. You can enjoy these items at their cute soda counter. They have meat, eggs, local honey, produce, and a lot more. It is surprising what all is contained inside this store. I left with several University of North Carolina at Charlotte items. I'm happy that I stopped in.

I started cross stitching and they were one of the only places around that had stitching supplies, hence the stitchin' part of their name. Miss Pam's Mom would help me pick out my supplies, such a nice lady and she really knew her stuff when it came to the stitching. They had such a huge selection of things for me to drool over, beautiful framed pieces on the walls, it was a sight to behold. When they first got Yankee Candles I thought what is this, candles in my stitching place? But, it was the first place I ever bought a yankee candle, I still remember the flavor, Mulberry. Yankees are still my favorite brand today but mulberry flavor has sadly been gone for years. Now here in 2019, the Stichin part of their name is no more and its just gifts now. They have a huge selection of all the latest brands of just about anything you could want. Gee gaws as far as the eyes can see, I just miss the old days when I could sit and go thru the books of patterns dreaming of what I would stitch next.

Since 1917, during the sugar shertage, they've been cranking out this burgundy-red color delicious soft drink with a cheery disposition and I discovered it in North Carolina when I was just 4 years old. It's 9% alcohol each bottle is priced under nine dollars & it's really delicious you will not go wrong with the wines from Pacific Fruit vineyard. They carried quite a few items not found in the Denver Aldi. 2. While there was some items out of stock, there was nowhere near as many out of stock items as in the Denver Aldi. 3. The prices were better here. I guess the Denver Aldi thinks everyone in Denver lives on the lake and is rich and prices everything accordingly. Same goes for the Aldi near our daughter's apartment at the beach, better pricing and selection.
