We went inside and literally everyone said hello. I loved it. You look around and you feel so welcome and it is comfortable. My mom shared a picture of Jaime Lee Curtis, how she wanted her hair like hers. My mom is unable to get her hair washed as she can not lay backwards in the chair due to having stage 4 metastatic cancer in her spine. Susan said no problem. She wet her hair by using a water bottle. My moms hair cut does look like the picture and to that, thank you. My mom is so happy. She will be back and I will be making an appointment myself. Thank you Susan!!!

The roots were not blended, but had harsh chunky lines and very brassy! I took a picture of it and texted her and asked if she could please fix the front of it for me. I had to make another appointment next week for someone else to fix it and I asked her to give me back my money so I can pay someone else to fix it, but of course she ignored me. That is so incredibly unprofessional! Please be careful!

I wanted to have a change of hair style, so I let my hair grow to see if I can achieve a slicked back style. After reading blogs and watching videos about the Brazilian blowout, I checked for the closest certified salon to do this treatment. Exclusive Style popped, so I gave them a call to explain my hair situation and what I wanted to achieve. Bindia explained to me that what I wanted wasn't going to work if I did a Brazilian blowout: it would be easy to manage, but not straight as I would like. She recommended the permanent straightening treatment, not only because I was going to be happier but because the results were going to last longer. After figuring out what I wanted to do, I decided to pass by the salon. Bindia had busy day, so she asked me to show up at 8:30 am of the next day. She looked at my hair and told me that the treatment was going to work, she did the same for her son and looked good. This comment made me feel more confident, so I showed up at the scheduled time. After 2 hours of shampooing, drying, putting product and flat ironing, my hair went from having a bird nest to a nice straight hair, you could see the difference half way through the treatment. Bindia and Jazmine made the appointment pleasant, both are friendly, talkative and always with the smile. I feel that they will be the only ones taking care of my hair from now on!

The lady that was cleaning (im sad i didnt catch her name) asked me to take a seat in the waiting area while she finished sweeping and I waited no more than 5 minutes before she asked me to sit in the salon chair. Overall im very happy with the cut and the price. Everyone there seemed friendly and by the time I left there were at least 4 people waiting for their turn. Would definately come back again.

I decided to try out Star Salon since it's close by the house. The staff seem nice. I had…read moremedium-long hair and requested to cut up to chest length with layers and pointed ends. The stylist started off by cutting the length of the hair as if a kid was cutting the Barbie's hair, which was fine to me at first because I assume she would fix it later. Next she sprayed the water and sheared the hair that comes down along both sides of the face near the ears and done. The hair cut took less than 10 minutes. I asked the stylist what happened to the layers? She said oh the hair is too short for layers. I only do layers for long hair. I do front layers for you. Then I asked can you cut the end with pointed end? She said no I do round for you (blunt, uneven, rounded ends). She then grabbed the mirror and show me. At that point, it was a waste of my time to ask or argue. I ended up with blunt rounded end for the back hair and pointed end for the front hair. My fingers can't even slide through the ends because they're too thick and choppy. This salon seems to be okay cutting men or boy's hair, but I would not recommend for long women's haircuts.
