They stopped coming and didn't bill us anymore so we thought they just didn't want our business and then we receive a collection notice for the system install from a year ago and all of the months for the service plan that we didn't even know we still had because we never received a bill, a call, salt, anyone checking our system or anything. My pool has never had a leaking problem until after they serviced it. I reached out to the owner hoping to resolve the situation, but instead of listening to my concerns, he told me to refill the entire pool "to see if it drains again." I explained that I didn't want to waste money refilling thousands of gallons of water just to watch it leak out, and his response was, "it doesn't cost that much. You live in Barrington, not East Providence," implying that I should just be able to afford the cost. It was condescending, rude, and completely unprofessional. I also explained, as a business owner in the trades myself, that I understand callbacks can be frustrating, but we just needed help resolving the problem. Instead of working with us, he told me he would charge a service fee--despite the fact that the issue only began after they closed the pool. The owner took zero accountability and dismissed everything I said. The lack of customer service, respect, and responsibility is extremely disappointing.
