I am not convinced the employees know what they are doing. I had my feet measured and they told me…read moreI needed a 10.5 wide shoe. I alerted them to the fact that I typically where a 12 or 12.5 in most shoes and sometimes a 13 if it isn't a wide shoe. They insisted I try a 10.5 which was too tight, but they convinced me to purchase an 11.5 wide. As expected, after wearing them for 2 days I could barely walk. My left knee began hurting, as did my back and the arches of my feet. I stand and walk for 10-13 hour shifts and this was not acceptable. I returned to the store and had them rescan me with the same resulting shoe size recommendation. This time I insisted on a 12.5, which they did not have in stock and had to order. When it came time to order the replacement shoes, the employee wanted to order the new shoes first and then process my return. I disagreed with this process as I had purchased the shoes with a gift card and would then be paying $180 and leaving with a $150 gift card. The employee asked the manager for assistance and they agreed to do my return first and refund the money to a gift card that could be used for the purchase of the new shoes. This seems like common sense, but based on the shoe measurement discrepancies, perhaps not for these employees. I will see if the replacement shoes fit better when they arrive, but I am not likely to recommend this business to anyone else looking for shoes

Dear Friends, 2023…read moremarked the start of a change in my life. We all make resolutions at the start of the year but this change isn't a resolution. It's a change.... I decided that instead of watching life I'd join it. After losing another classmate, I finally realized that my bucket list would be for not if I kept waiting for the perfect situation. One of the items on that list is to constantly improve my physical fitness. Since the stairs at work snatch my breath on a daily, I decided to start with walking. It's been a while since I walked for exercise so I knew I needed to get the right footwear. I knew without the new kicks I'd use every excuse under the sun about why I can't exercise because my shoes are worn. I landed at Fleet Feet to get the perfect fit. From start to finish I felt informed and encouraged about the process. The staff member was exceptional. His customer service was outstanding. He explained the scans, offered the best choices, and I left with my new kicks to sign up for their spring training program. While I have miles to go before I'm ready to tackle the Cooper River Bridge, I know where all my footwear will be coming from. Suggestions: Book an appointment on their website, come prepared with questions, and forget the words "I only wear...." Feet and shoes change so be open to trying new sneakers. Please share your story, reel or photo with me when you venture out to get your next pair of trainers. Excited to see you on the pavement soon. Sincerely CSRA

I am working with our Yelp team to get this corrected. In the meantime, read on! Shoes stores pop up and disappear every week. It's just the nature of that business. But to find a place that has been around for over 3 decades is a wonder. You need a belt? They have you covered. A jacket? Socks? It's all here. And the team are some of the kindest people you'll meet. If you aren't familiar with the location, just know that it is only 5 minutes away from AU (Augusta University) and is easily accessible from Broad Street and Washington Road. And where else can you buy new shoes and get a haircut without having to change parking spaces? Walking in, I found signage letting me know how the shoes were laid out and the shelves had labels with the sizes. Now it is a little jumbled up and squeezed together right now, as they are preparing to close December 31st, but wade through the piles! There are deals everywhere. From dress shoes to casual to styles you want more of, this place has the shoes. I consider it a travesty that I didn't before, but I will be back frequently these next two months. You should do the same. *Insider's Tip -Go weekly. I was told they will get new stock up until they close.

I have never owned a pair of Air Jordan's or K-Swiss (though I always wanted a pair of the latter). I view shoes as an accessory to a outfit, albeit a necessary one. So it is no surprise that I seldom visit any type of shoe store, but when I do it is almost always here. Although the Men's shoe section pales in comparison to the Women's, it is still the largest selection (both of style and brand) I know of. And the prices? You are not going to find better. From comfortable sandals to hiking shoes to dress shoes, they all came from here. So sneakerhead or just not a fan of walking around barefoot, I recommend stopping in here. Oh yeah, they have hats, messenger bags, purses, socks, and jewelry.

I was informed by another friend of mine that my former bff worked here and y'all know my pull up game is STRONG like E6000(if you didn't know now you know!!! So keep it cute!!!). So as we made our way inside the store we noticed the fragrances first. They have several great fragrances for ok prices. I fell in love with one body spray they carried. It was by Kenneth Cole and smelled amazing. Sweet and fruity, just how I like to smell!!! Next, we went into the accessories department. They have nice accessories by renown designers for really affordable prices. My friend picked up a few items in that section. It was a lot of merchandise to look through. We went to the men's department next. The style of clothing they sell for men was very preppy and my friend isn't quite preppy so he didn't really find any clothing he liked in that section. They had really nice underwear, t-shirts , and socks though. Those items would give any man confidence with their outer appearance, even though all those goodies would be tucked away underneath your clothing!!! We strolled over to the home goods section, which I didn't know they had there. They had a variety of things in that section. As we were checking out the merchandise, Lo and behold my former best friend walks right past us. Not knowing what to expect from her since we hadn't talked in over 5 years she greeted us with hugs and chatter. I don't know if she was being fake or was she actually glad to see us. Well we stopped shopping and held a conversation for a while. It was like we had never fell out. It was interesting because she was a person that got me. Like things I say or refer to she immediately understood what I was talking about. It actually felt good to chat with her. We talked a few minutes but her superior was telling her to go ahead and clock out, so that cut the reunion short. So we continued to look around the store more. I didn't even know they also sell bedding here as well. I like jersey knit sheets and I didn't see any here. The other materials in bedsheets tend to make me sweat and I HATE that, that's why I stick to jersey knit fabric. They also carry decent shoes here. I didn't see any bigger sizes but there was a nice selection. They even have some Gucci shoes here on clearance. They were very stately and modest, not our style at all. We also went into the lingerie section. My friend was looking for a waist shaper but they didn't have any. There was nothing exciting in the lingerie department. There was a lot of neutral colored undergarment and they were fashioned in a very demure way. My friend did find many things he liked and bought, mostly home knick knacks. This store is pretty decent for what they sell but it's for a much older and conservative crowd. Don't get me wrong you can find things that are youthful and modern but it will take some searching. I'm glad I was able to see my former bestie, maybe we can start on a new friendship!!!!
