Tried to buy a riding mower on a Sunday. There were only a few kids working had the ticket waited half an hour at customer service wanted it delivered all the kid kept saying I'm not sure how to do that. I said OK went to Loews down the street and bought a mower to be delivered free up to 100 miles. I was in and out in ten minutes. Done with this store. read more

This review is for the auto service center. I stopped here on my way up North to have my lug nuts tightened (I had service done at my local Fleet Farm in Beaver Dam before I left and it was recommended after 100 miles). and have some wiper blades put on. As I approached the counter, I was abruptly told to wait by the service writer. He then got my service written up. I told him what type of wiper I wanted as well. They had a rack of them in the service center and I wasn't real picky on what I wanted. A short time later, the service technician came out and said the wiper blades wouldn't fit. I tried telling the service writer that I would just go with Rain-X wipers, but he insisted on calling the store and getting the other blades that he thought would fit. Again the tech came out and said that the brand wouldn't fit. I tried telling the service writer that I would just go into the store and get them because I had to go in anyways. He refused to listen and sent the tech to go get them. During my wait, he rudely answered the phone several times and told people he would call them back. It seemed that he couldn't handle doing more than one thing at once. Over 1 hour later, my truck was done. It was irritating that it took that long because I had to be in Ashland by 2pm. I am not sure what the service is like when he isn't working, but if you stop in I hope that it's his day off. read more

Well dang, the guys at the Fleet Farm Auto Shop must think the guys at other auto shops need to catch a break or something. My partner took his VW to Fleet Farm Auto for an oil change. His next oil chagne was done by Scaffidi, who told him his oil filter housing unit was missing. He takes his car back to Fleet Farm, who "replaces the unit" for him. Later, we were greeted with a large pool of oil under his car in our garage. He gets it towed back to Scaffidi where he's informed that the unit was replaced with a part of the wrong size and installed improperly to boot. The actual replacement part plus labor plus the tow plus the lost oil ended up costing him about $400...all bevause he took his car for an pil change at Fleet Farm Auto Fleet Farm did an "internal investigation" and found no fault of their own. Customer service is a thing of the past under the new ownership. Cashiers and lower level "managers" have no clue how to take a VISA Credit/Debit gift card. First, only a few cashiers could do a split tender when the purchase was more than the card value. I really needed to squeeze in getting new tires for my car, and all the associates in the Auto Center were amazing to work with. The tires I needed had to be special ordered, no problems there! Got me scheduled as soon as they could! I felt like they cared about me, and my needs. I commute for work, and need to make sure my car is good to go! There is a gas station here with the best priced automatic car washers in the area. The store itself has an automotive center with the best rates for car or truck tires in town....they are even cheaper than WalMart, and I trust the workers here to do a better job than at WalMart. I have a friend that's worked here for years and they have a great benefits package to keep their good workers from leaving so I trust the work they do here. I really like that when I take my car here for an oil change (be sure to call for an appointment) I can go look around the adjoining store while I wait, and this store has just about every thing a guy could ever need. Tires, an extensive men's and women's clothing section, shoes, steel toe work boots, tools, hunting, fishing, car batteries, a little bit of furniture, farm items, Tupperware, a huge selection of bird seed and feeders, pet supplies, a few electronics, cleaning supplies, outdoor and indoor decorations, paint, lighting, snacks, more beef jerky than in most any store around. I work with people who drive over 30 miles just to shop at this store. The products are all of solid quality. Remember that this place also carries things that are for on the farm so don't expect to find cutting edge fashion items here. But the store is large enough that most people wouldn't get bored walking around looking at stuff. read more

This one star is for the automotive service department only. The rest of the store is five star as far as I'm concerned. My wife took her car for a oil change as the usual place we go was booked up. Two days after the change she asked me to check her tires, all were low with one at 6 pounds and another at 12. Three days later she ran out of windshield washer fluid. Makes me wonder if they even changed the oil. read more

Purchased tires and had them installed there late last year and it was a reasonably good experience. Decent price and the service was adequate. Fast forward to October 27th, the valve stem broke off from the TPMS sensor, causing a flat that could not be immediately repaired. Took just the wheel assembly into the Tire Center around 11:30 AM, received a quote and agreed to the work. I was told they will work it in either their appointments and it would probably take a few hours. No problem, as I had other errands to run. Came back at 2:45 PM and the service writer said that there was one ticket in front of it and that it would probably be another hour, maybe two. So I left and continued on with my afternoon. I figured they would call when it was done. I never got a call prior to the closing. We called this morning around 9:30 and they still had not started the work. It's 1:47 PM on October 28th and the work still has not been completed and no one is answering when we try calling. Absolutely atrocious service. Would not have taken it there other than the fact that we had a decent experience prior to this with the tire installation. Personally, I would recommend anywhere else in Stevens Point to handle your emergency tire repair needs, as they don't seem to give any priority to emergencies and then refuse to give an honest update on when to expect your work to be complete. read more

Auto service is horribly slow. Waited over two hours for ONE tire to get changed. Another woman waited over an hour for an oil change. There was zero sense of urgency whatsoever. Not recommended unless you like excruciatingly long waits for something that shouldn't take long. read more

I went to Fleet Farm to get new tires put on my car because I was a student in the town. Less than 2 years after having them put on I had safety issues with the tires. One of the tires got a bulge and I was living over an hour away from a fleet farm so I went to a shop that was local to get the tire replaced. Less than 2 months after that, I had a tire go flat when I was driving. I had to get my car towed to a local shop and they determined my tires were doing this because of the way that the tires were installed. When I confronted the auto service manager Dale at the Stevens Point Fleet Farm he was very rude to me and said that it couldn't have been their fault. So I took my car to another Fleet Farm in Manitowoc and the auto service team there looked at my tires and confirmed that the tires were installed wrong. I was reinburced partially for the tire that I brought in that went flat. I called the general manager at the Stevens Point Fleet Farm and I was very disappointed with their customer service. They never said sorry and after I told him all the issues I had and money spent all he said was "what do you want me to do about it?". I am sharing my story because this should never have happened and the way they delt with it was terrible. I will never go to a fleet farm now to have my car serviced and I would never recommend this place. read more
