I googled for a Programmable Thermostat on Tuesday morning... Fleet Farm came up as the simplest for a reasonable price. Google listed the Add To Cart option so... I did. Within a couple hours I had the Come Get It email. I went the store per the instructions, the lumber yard for pick up. I pulled up to the gate and a jolly fellow came out. I handed him my license and showed him the email barcode. Easy Peasy and he instructed me to drive to the other side of the yard to get my item, without having to get out in the cold! Before I pulled away he said "make sure to tell them who you saw today" as he pointed to his name bade "Santa Mark" we had a chuckle. I didn't follow the instructions super great since I went to the main store first and was directed to their outdoor/lumber pickup area. Once through there it was a breeze and staff were very friendly, just kind of a zoo to get one thing - I would shop in store next time for sure, the parking lot was easy to navigate and it didn't seem crazy busy. read more

I like Fleet Farm as an establishment but this one specifically is also pretty good. I think what is stocked makes sense (sometimes running low on certain ammo but that is to be expected). They always have black rifle coffee (yay) and from what I've been able to see there are enough workers where it makes sense and I never feel like I can't find someone. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but it was the end of the day, so these things do happen. All in all, I love Fleet Farm, it is what it is, you can get almost everything you would want and need here too! read more

I have been to a couple of Fleet Farms over the years and this location is slipping a bit. I like the mix of products and the low prices at FF, especially for the kids clothing. On my recent visit I bought a cheap pair of sunglasses for myself and they are quite durable. However, on this trip, I came for some kids clothes basics for my toddlers and I wasn't able to find the sizes or the items themselves. The stock was a bit messy, too. The staff at this store was nice and tried to help, but I wasn't able to find anything but the sunglasses (which wasn't why I went in the first place). read more

I went to Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park to buy something to re-string my outdoor chimes. It needed to be strong but thin enough to get through the pre drilled holes. Robin led me to the fishing line. Not only did she teach me about which kind would work (20lb) but she saved me money by cutting only the amount I would need over the pre packaged items. I dropped by this Mills Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park on my first full day in the Twin Cities in late March. I was here for the food trucks that occupied part of Fleet Farm's parking lot. So, my review is about the parking lot and not the store itself. It seems weird, but why not? I know this franchise as Mills Fleet Farm. I have realized the past handful of times visiting Minnesota (Twin Cities and Rochester) that Mills has been dropped from the name. I don't know why. It used to be owned by the Mills family. Maybe it's not anymore? Fleet Farm caters to a few states in the midwest. Its headquarters is in Appleton, WI. I have seen stores in Iowa, North and South Dakotas, and Wisconsin in my life, besides Minnesota. I hope that it's still the case. If I were to compare Fleet Farm to a Canadian store, it would be Canadian Tire. You can find everything from tires and automotive parts, to food and toys. The only difference is that the former caters to farmers, too. As a result, you can get tractor parts and products to care for horses. My first experience was hitting a Fleet Farm in Rochester to get an M&M's candy dispenser. I still have it to this day. Anyway, it wasn't difficult for me to find the food trucks. They were off to the side, away from the main entrance, closer to the tire service area. I parked close to the trucks and browsed. The parking lot is vast such that the four food trucks set up tables and chairs for folks to sit down. Unfortunately, it was windy that day. No one sat outside. I ate in my rental car. I wished that I had time to visit the store itself. I basically ate my lobster roll from Rebel Lobster (it was fabulous) before I needed to hit downtown Saint Paul for a Minnesota Wild game. It's a great place for food trucks to set up shop. Whether you work up an appetite shopping at Fleet Farm or simply like eating yummy food, come here when there are food trucks. (118) read more

I went in for one particular item and was having trouble finding it. A nice lady (Latonya) was busy with a full pallet, stocking the shelves. She saw me looking and asked if she could help. She helped me find it and then when she scanned it the price showed up different that what was listed in my email ad I had received. She took me up to customer service and the lady (Niq) called the manager and explained about price difference. He okayed the email price. She rang me up and said she was glad it all worked out. These two ladies and their great customer service is what keeps me shopping at this Fleet Farm. read more

Place an order online to be pick up , had to cancel it , because I was able to pick it up at a different location (only reason I choose this store was because it was closer ) on the phone for over 20 min and no one pick up in sporting goods, can't even have the option to talk to service desk to cancel my online order , now will have to wait 5 days or step foot inside this place to cancel the order . Yesterday I was in the sporting good section (because my wife wanted to visit the garden section) And saw a 11-12 year old kid just unsupervised going around picking up firearms and racking them , bumping them on stuffs , knocking some over and there is NO employee there to step in .. imagine a worst case scenario were to happen in that area , well there would be no employee to see it and deal with it . I give up on this place. I fully understand that many businesses are having trouble with staffing. That said, when a business hires someone, they should probably go to the trouble of, A. Training them beginning with the idea they have been hired to help customers, B.) Put the employee in places where they can be of greatest help and, C.) Check on them from time to time to see if the employees are doing what they were trained and expected to do. But enough of my Fleet Farm dream... The reality is that I walked out of the place (without making a $125+ purchase) after asking 3 employees how to do a price check (the price on the item I wanted was priced $6.00 more than on their website) and not one knew how I could have that happen. There were (now please watch closely), 24 customers in line at one register and 19 at the other. There were only 2 registers open. The "service desk" had one person working and 11 people were in line. Oh yeah...there were 2 employees (who I also asked about the price check process...that's a total of 5) standing around the carts and clueless as to what they were doing. But most of all, there was no obvious sign of management assisting employees or customers. When I think about it, I have NEVER seen a manager on the front lines of this business. Have you? By the way, you wouldn't let your neighbors bad dog use the restroom at the store. Wet and Filthy. There must be a feeling in the company that virtually any level of service, training, cleanliness or disarray is acceptable and that their business will succeed in spite of their performance. I was Refused to purchase rifle Ammo because I'm Asian and 20 with a permit to purchase and the Manager named Paul said I had to be 21 to purchase but they were willing to sell me a long rifle at 18 of age. I would love to give them a zero but it's not possible. Where to start. 2 weeks ago a gun safe door fell on me while I was walking by it. "Greg" in sporting goods just walked past me. When I spoke to the store manager he didn't believe until he saw the door. Then he apologized. Today went in for their 3 day sale. I wanted to purchase an item and I was informed on that the small print shows that the sale starts tonight. AFTER THEY ARE CLOSED! Save your money. Sportsman Warehouse in Coon Rapids is better. Absolutely BRUTAL!! Avoid this place at all costs. Their lack of care stems from their Store Manager, to the Asst Store Manager, to the supervisors, etc. The associates are nice and attempt to accommodate, but the leadership ties their hands and don't empower them whatsoever. I preordered an item, went to pick it up, and what was supposed to be a 5mins stop-in turned into a 43mins detention. They took my money, had me walk all around the store, and then refused to give me my money back after I was sick of the goose chase and told them to keep the item and refund me my money. They kept me there trying to get me to take the item, that they couldn't find, and offered nothing in return but a complete disregard for my time. While at the front counter I also heard a supervisor read a customer the riot act for wanting to return an item. The reason for the return was that the customer didn't like the item. The supervisor told the customer that returns were only accepted if the item didn't work. Items are NOT accepted just because you didn't like the item. I called the corp. office in WI multiple times over a few weeks. I have spoken with 3 different ladies who promised calls back later the same day. One lady even spoke with her manager, while I was on the phone, and the manager told her to tell me that she, the manager, would call me back in a few minutes. I still have not heard from anyone. While the prices at Fleet Farm appear to be quite competitive, you will pay on the back end with your time, being stuck with an item, and them refusing to give you back your money. After 43mins and multiple demands to give me my money back, due to them not being able to provide the item for which I paid, a manager came and authorized them to refund my money. Fleet Farm is one of those stores you don't realize how awesome it is until you don't have it anymore. I moved to Florida for 6 years and I cannot count how many times I caught myself saying: Ugh, I wish there was a Fleet Farm here:( I don't live on a farm. We don't work on our house. We don't work on our yard. We don't work on our vehicles. Yet, I find a need to go to Fleet Farm every month or so. Even if I don't need something specific, I just go to see what I can find: Clothes? Yep. Candy & Nuts? Oh yeah. Shoes? Many choices of boots, sneakers, etc. Pet supplies? For sure. Sporting equipment? Heck yeah. Holiday decorations? Absolutely terrific ones. They are bare bones in frills. But I don't care if they don't have fancy checkouts. The employees are plentiful and helpful. Always enough lanes open to check-out. Big and well lit store with something for everyone. So glad to be home so I can shop at Fleet Farm again. That might be WHY I moved back;) read more

Fleet farm the amount of disrespect that was put on my girlfriend last night was unacceptable. Secondly, when it was a simple solution to having a manager look up a receipt why was there 20 minutes of allegations and sarcasm? We ordered a jacket online for in store pickup. With a 200 dollar purchase you got a 50 dollar gift card. When we arrived to get it we were told to go to the yard to pick it up and that there is no gift card. So the girl behind the counter said to go get it and bring it back. She would then refund 50 dollars. I picked it up and immediately went back into the store. In the meantime the girl went on break. So my girlfriend gave the replacement employee the jacket to do the refund. She started off by asking where the jacket came from and did she just bring it in. Mind you my girlfriend had the purchase receipt and a pick up confirmation from 10 minutes before. Instead of looking at that 2 more employees joined in and started accusing her of stealing it. Girlfriend asked to speak with a manager numerous times and was denied. Meanwhile she was pushed out of the way to allow another customer to return items. After 20 minutes of verbal harassment and attitude a manager was called who finally resolved issue with nno apology. I spend alot of money there and my girlfriend does also. Wait I mean we did. I will not promote a business that has employees that disrespect ecustomers and act like its standard procedure and do not apologize. That is shameful. The 400 dollars of merchandise we purchased online is going to be returned. Along with all the other items I have bought in the last 90 days. Its too bad the bad attitude of 3 of your employees is going to cost you thousands of dollars. On a regular basis. To the 3 employees I feel bad for you. You are pathetic. Don't waste your money on the tire warranty. I had a tire loosing air and it took 1.5 weeks just to get an appointment. Then I show up for the appointment and it took 2 hours just to repair a bead leak. Buy your tires elsewhere. The follow up service is poor. read more

Purchased battery for my home plow truck 10/2021, needed to put charger on after every use. Went to move the other day and one end froze and blown out. Even with a charger on it one cell froze which say bad cell. Mills response tough no warranty. I cant believe I am about to say this but I like Fleet Farm. It intrigues me the way that Costco intrigues me--I dont actually need anything in the entire store (especially not at the size it is being sold here) but I am amazed that it is all housed under one roof. Do you need horse tackle? Shotguns? A camouflage nightie with matching thong trimmed in hot pink lace? Yes! On my first adventure, I bought a shirt from Fleet Farm. I get lots of compliments on the shirt but that is not why I like it. I only like it because the size on the tag says "XS". I dont think I've ever owned a size XS shirt before but the sizing spectrum at Fleet Farm is skewed to the large, suburban crowd and thus, I scored my first XS. Ridiculous in comparison to 99% of other clothes sizing on earth, but a stroke to the ego nonetheless. On my second adventure, I bought snow boots. Apparently the large suburban crowd that populates Fleet Farm also have large, suburbanite children with large, suburban sprawl-type feet. For one reason or another, I fit into the size 4 children's boots. I wear a size 7 in normal shoes and these look just like the women's version of the exact same boots but instead of $70, I paid $20 because they are for a child. I have made the harrowing journey out to the suburbs to visit this Fleet Farm (a love of which I have had since my childhood in suburban WI, where my grandpa would bring me along on his trips to this now sacred establishment), two times now. The first excursion was to obtain matching flannel shirts for Boyfriend and I on the occasion of the zombie pub crawl (we were going to Mr. and Mrs. Lumberjack i.e. he would look legitimately lumberjacky and I'd have my tits out). We not only found a plethora of old man/mountain man apparel here, but also sassy hats and I found some Rocket Dog slippers for dirt cheap. My second excursion took place this last week when I sallied forth in search of a graniteware canner. My GOD, this place is canning mecca. The Fleet Farm of my childhood epically fails in the canning department when compared with this place. Maybe they are savvy to the fact that foodie citydwellers will travel far and wide for their mason jars and canning supplies, or maybe the suburban types are super into it... whatever the reason, one ENTIRE aisle in their gigantic warehouse of a store is COATED with canning stuff. If I hadn't been afraid of being abducted by a suburban perv, I would have fainted dead away with joy. I will definitely trek out if ever I need anything podunkity again. read more

In the grand family of retail stores Fleet Farm is like the outstate country cousin of Menards. Although I lived on this side of cities year ago I never really ventured into FF to buy anything. I would always hear about all the various things you could buy like horse feed, home improvement goods, pet food, giant jars of licorice, etc. It wasn't until recently that I finally decided to stop in and check out what the store had to offer. The store itself is pretty massive and can be confusing to find things in as some of the aisles don't line up exactly in a nice pattern. They do have pretty much everything under the sun for sale here but seem to focus on the needs of the farming (hence the name)/hunting community. Truth be told, I was only here to check out the pet goods selection as I heard they have pet toys for cheaper than most pet stores. On average the prices for items in the pet section were cheaper or around the same price of places like Petco or Petsmart. The dog food brand I buy for my pup was actually more expensive than what I usually pay. However, the items that I did decide to buy were less expensive than what I usually paid for them outside of FF. read more

i had a motorcycle battery that was 4 days past the 1 year warranty at fleet farm in Brooklyn Park mn. The management there would not do one thing to stand behind it, not only that but the manager there in that department was completely condescending, and acted like he was doing me a favor by even talking to me. Mills Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park is a great store to shop at, the customer service is excellent, besides the worker from the gun section. When another person rung the buzzer for assistance, he walked past us. He didn't even know who rung it and needed the help. But one thing I can say this store attracts a lot of bigots. I mean the customers. But I guess African Americans are good enough to work in there and wait on customers but we can't shop in there with out getting lots of staring by some, it is some the attitudes I pick up. I'm from Brooklyn Center and has shopped here with my Grand Parents since the 70's but historically this store has always seem that way. read more

This is a 1 star rating based on their unwillingness to honor posted pricing. Apparently the manager of Mills Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park, MN, doesn't know that not honoring posted prices can be devastating to a stores public reputation. Word of mouth travels fast! My boy went to this Fleet Farm after visiting Cabella's and Gander Mountain to compare tripod deer stands and pricing. At Fleet Farm, he found one in their outside yard that was 20' high and marked on sale for $200. When he enquired about it, he was told that was a two year old display model that they didn't have any more. That's OK, because the display model was badly damaged and rusted anyway, but the signage didn't specify any particular model other than a 20' tripod stand. The manager refused to sell him one of the models they had in stock for that advertised price. Really, Fleet Farm! If you are too lazy and/or incompetent to remove display models you no longer have available and post the correct selling price for the models you do have, that is NOT your customer's fault. You MUST sell products for what you post the price to be! I used to do a lot of shopping at Fleet Farm in the past, but I will now shop elsewhere first and only go to Fleet Farm as a last resort. read more

Tire Service department: if you make an appointment for an all day service for a simple oil and change and tire rotation, expect for it to take all day. First car in for the all day drop off and it's three, still haven't heard back if it's done. Couldn't get an estimated time of completion, all they could say was it will get done when it gets done. They guys there seem to take on more than they can chew! read more

I come here quite a bit since it is somewhat near my work. Fleet Farm has a little bit of everything. Walking in can be a bit confusing if you've never been here. I think I explored the store by just wandering around and trying to find odd things that I needed. They better not move sections around because I'd never find anything and I'd probably get lost. read more
