My sump pump started beeping, so Choice Home Warranty dispatched Flawless Sewer Service Corp. The technician spent no more than 5-10 minutes inspecting the pump, collected the $75 service fee, took a few pictures, and claimed the sump pump was installed incorrectly. He said both the main sump pump and the backup system needed to be replaced, explaining only that the check valve was installed "too high." This made little sense considering the sump pump was installed by a licensed plumber in 2020 and has operated without any issues for years. Based solely on that assessment, Choice Home Warranty denied my claim, citing improper installation. Wanting a second opinion before replacing the system, I hired another contractor. He found that the main sump pump was working perfectly. The only issue was that the backup sump pump battery had reached the end of its life and needed replacement. No installation problem existed with the primary pump. Based on my experience - I have no choice but to conclude that they are not interested in diagnosing the real problem and only there to collect the service fee. read more

Very unreliable technician and vendor. I would not recommend hiring Flawless Sewer Service, (347) 227-5126. I contacted the company because there was no hot water in my bathroom shower. The technician diagnosed a problem with the mixer valve and charged me $200, including a $75 service fee and $125 to replace a part that typically costs around $35. I accepted the price, but immediately after the repair, I noticed water dripping heavily from the showerhead. I contacted the technician right away and sent the requested photos and videos. After several messages, he said he would return on Tuesday, four days later. The day before the appointment, I contacted him to confirm the time. He asked me to send the photos and videos again, which I did, but he did not show up as promised. He later told me to wait a few more days because the problem might resolve itself. He also suggested replacing the showerhead. I purchased and installed a new showerhead that same day, but the leak continued. I gave the company several opportunities to return and correct the issue, but they did not follow through. I now have to hire another company to repair the problem. I will also be reporting this matter to the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey and the appropriate insurance company. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company or its services. read more

Flawless Sewer Service - The new pipe - Plumbing Near Me

They sent a so called plumber to my house while I was away. The guy wasn't able to fix a leaky faucet on the bathroom sink, something that I've done several times by simply changing the cartridge. He also told my wife that the tile needed to be broken to fix a leaky faucet in the shower, which all you need to change that cartridge is to use an extended socket, not break the tile... She asked the shoe maker if he could come back when I got home because I told her it was an easy fix. He told her yes, that she just had to call and they would send someone to finish the job. When I got back from my business trip, my wife called the office to have a plumber return to finish the job. My wife requested a different plumber be sent, because if I'm not a plumber and that guy was unable to fix something that I've fixed several times, he's definitely incompetent. So she asked for another one of their plumbers to be sent. One that has previously done work at my house. The person on the phone who refused to give their name told my wife, "This isn't McDonald's. You don't get to have it your way". That comment along with several other sarcastic & unprofessional comments were all in text, because they refused to speak to my wife directly on the phone. After the person refused to identify themself after my wife asked them several times who she was speaking to, they told my wife their name was John. Which was most likely a lie. The person told my wife "not sure how having a name makes a difference in conversation"... I was shocked at not only by the incompetence of the technician that was sent to my house to do a simple repair, but by the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the person representing the company that spoke to my wife on the phone. When I read the texts I said, what an asshole this person is. If I had anyone like that representing my company, I would immediately fire them! My wife asked several times to speak to the person directly on the phone, because there can be misinterpretation in text, and the person refused, even when my wife called, nobody would answer. This company has highly incompetent technicians working for them, and their staff is highly unprofessional. It's appropriate that they are in the sewer business because that's where their staff comes from! Bottom Line! Incompetent technicians! Unprofessional staff! The owner is a nice guy who previously did work at my house, but whoever they sent while I was away was a total amateur, and whoever he has working in his office and dealing with his clients is a low life scumbag who I'd love to tell that to their face... Imagine, that person would not speak on the phone and would only communicate by text. The good thing is my wife has it all in writing. What ignorant moron with a bad attitude would communicate in writing? Terrible Service! Unprofessional Staff! Incompetent Technicians! read more

I have a home warranty, and this company was assigned. Claimed a part was not covered, called the company now it was a lie, charged me over 160.00, the original problem was clear, making a bigger problem. Clear one drain, causing that drain water to backup in a different sink. Then the tech refused to return, as he knew there no more money from this senior. Got water all over the place, then toss my belonging that was under the sink in the trash never saying anything. I ask before he started did he need them moved. Had me sitting here from 3-8, 7:17 he text claiming that's a new problem, my: reply no, there was no problem before your fix. Then got pissed and stated he was coming. So this company failed, I just use my wet vac to clear the water, to stop the other room from flooding as it did before I realized what was happen. UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNTRUSTWORTHY I'm thinking Elder abuse and theft after the problem is corrected and I fulling understand what he did wrong. read more

The trap under the kitchen sink was leaking on a Sunday. I initiated a claim through Choice Home Warranty and Flawless Sewer and Drain was assigned. They contacted me on Monday and advised that a Technician would come on Tuesday (today) between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Earlier this morning I was advised that the Technician would come between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. ANTHONY arrived at 12:10 pm and immediately determined what needed to be done and explained it all to me. He then proceeded to expertly complete the repair, which involved considerably more work than what I expected. ANTHONY was careful, neat, and obviously competent. He documented all of his work for the Warranty Company and obtained their approval for the job. Well done! read more

I deeply regret not reviewing this company's history before allowing Choice Home Warranty to dispatch them to my home. Previous customers clearly documented their pattern of demanding cash payments without proper receipts and imposing excessive charges. They also reported substandard work and the company's refusal to accept accountability for their mistakes. My experience confirmed these warnings. Within hours of their pump installation, I discovered an obvious leak. When I contacted them about this defect, they dishonestly blamed it on an existing pipe that has never leaked during my years of homeownership. This is demonstrably false--their own two technicians that came to my house thoroughly inspected the area before beginning work and would have immediately identified any pre-existing leak. This company deserves no stars whatsoever. Even one star significantly overrates their service and integrity. read more

If you get this company as a service provider for one of your home warranties( ex, Choice home), please call the home warranty company to re-assign your claim to a different company. Flawless is full of flaws. They take cash only deductible. Then, provide a wrong diagnosis to the warranty company so that no work needs to be done. They pocket the deductible and diagnosis fee payment from the home warranty company(I think it is $100) The home warranty company ( in my case, Choice Home )is ok with the arrangement, as they closed the claim for less than $150. In the end, the customer is screwed. Anyways, please don't take any service from this company. read more

Choice home warranty contracted flawless for a sewer smell which needed to have main outflow snaked. Flawless tesponded in 48 hrs than better response down to 24 hrs. Was told between 11-3. Gentleman came . I showed him toilet which was making noice said I had to put in another claim with choice and wouldn't fix it. I showed him main outflow that needed to be snaked . Said he had to call choice to see if it's covered. This company is such a sham that it willing takes $75 in cash, no receipt given, knows already what's covered or not covered as its been long time affiliated with choice. Takes the $75 cash from senior citizen , makes you wait because they say their calling choice to see if it's covered. And guess what? Your scammed out of $75 10 min service call. The guy showed up through Choice home warranty to fix a flush issue. I rarely write negative reviews but the customer service was absolutely distasteful. More specifically, the owner Anthony is rude, arrogant, combative. They are contracted with Choice Warranty and for both of these companies i would 10/10 NOT recommend! Steer clear. You pay a monthly fee, then a deductible, and then you're left with the same issue. Just hire a handyman for odd jobs when you need them. It'll be cheaper And less headache! read more

They show up, collect the service fee and do not fix anything. Happened a couple of times with me. Not going back to them. On both the occasions they came through the home warranty company. In the first instance there was a leak in the powder room under the sink. They wouldn't fix it saying it's not covered under policy as the plumbing was not done correctly. In the last 6 years there was not a single leak, so when I questioned them they said it doesn't matter. I called up another plumber on my own subsequently, they came in, found the issue was an old pipe was leaking because of wear and tear (which should have been covered under the warranty). This plumber charged me but fixed the issue in 30 mins. I did not have the energy or time to go back and fight with the warranty company. Wrong diagnosis on the part of the flawless technician. On the second occasion (also through the warranty company) my shower started leaking due to a clear wear and tear issue in the existing pipe which comes from the wall. Again the wear and tear issue was not communicated back to the home warranty company and instead they recommended a handyman. read more

I had a sewer backup. The plumber from Flawless came and said he ran 110 feet of cable and wasn't able to clear the blockage and that the blockage must be farther down the line. Said I'd have to get a different plumber because the home warranty only covers 100 feet. The next plumber (who I paid out of pocket) was able to clear the blockage at ~90 feet. So the plumber from Flawless both wasn't able to fix the issue and didn't even realize he had already passed the blockage. After the Flawless plumber left, I saw he damaged the trim on the door. This was Friday so I called the plumbing company Monday morning and was berated by the owner and hung up on. If you get assigned this service, just tell the warranty company to send someone else. Based on my experience and other reviews there's a decent chance they'll end up costing you money. read more

I used this company because where I had my home warranty they covered this company. The man came to my house was very nice and polite. Analyzed the problem. I thought he would have to cut the ceiling. Decided he could go upstairs and just fix it from there. He knew exactly what it was. It had to do with the ring in the toilet which he fixed and replaced billed my insurance company cleaned up afterwards and then he was on his way. I was extremely happy with the repair the way the toilet works now that there is no leak in the kitchen. It was wonderful!! I own a secret home and I will be having them come to do a bigger repair there. I'll make sure I keep you guys informed but for now 100%. I would definitely use them again. Great company. Nice trucks. No cursing cleaned up afterwards and no more leaks!! read more

Anthony came to fix a leaky shower . He replaced the cartridge and solved the problem. Just as he finished up I asked him to tighten a cover plate a bit and through sheer bad luck one of the screws broke. First things first...these guys answer the phone. So that's already a huge plus. Secondly they deliver a fast professional honest service. I sent photos of our plumbing issues meaning he showed up with all the right equipment for the job. Which was replacing the regular faucet and the very hot water faucet. We now have fancy working faucets. He also fixed our leaky toilet which at first he thought was a reseal job. Then it was discovered it was not the seal. Then he said as may have to replace the waste pipe but he needed to open my hallway ceiling to do it. I said do it as there was already a hole and lo and behold he was able to fix the crack without totally destroying the hallway. We now have a non leaky toilet and a bathroom sink that drains (amongst items fished out included a mini flashlight and a disintegrated batter pack along with toothpaste tops and other caps Highly recommend Flawless because the work is flawless. 5 star service with pretty reasonable rates for plumbing services. read more

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this company when it sounds to me it's more the warranty service. This company was also dispatched through my warranty company and they were very nice and knowledgeable. Anthony did not rush us to find the issue and stayed explaining things to us that we did not know. Just glad the problem was not a real issue but gave us his card in case we see water. Would recommend this company to others in the future. Glad to meet an honest person because he could have opened my wall when there really wasn't a leak that I thought I heard. read more

Update to my review: We got it confirmed from another plumber and they confirmed that the person who used a saw to cut open the drain cover didnt know what they were doing and in the process of cutting through it, cut through the PVC pipe underneath (attached the pic with the cut in PVC). The drain cover (attached a pic) which this guy told he couldn't open the screws and needed to cut it to get the snake in, the other guy opened both screws in less than 5 sec. When I asked these people what about the 30 day workmanship guarantee, they had no answer except to say, your home warranty told us to ignore it, lol. The same home warranty told me to ask them to pay the damages. The point is, now that even when we proved to them that their plumber did the faulty business, they still didnt want to own upto their bad deeds. What does that indicate?? - They are con and they are used to doing it. Same thing what i told before, they just have the pattern to damage people's homes and then blame it to them. The only thing to do for me now is to go through legal route to atleast get the damages back. For a simple unclogging, they made the mess out of our bathroom and due to that we have a damaged ceiling drywall and a broken PVC pipe and haven't been able to use the bathroom for almost 6 weeks now. DONOT EVER LET THEM STEP IN YOUR HOUSE!!!! Original Review: Such a pattern with all the reviews below. Every bad review has a justification given for that proving the customer themselves as wrong. Same experience with us too.. Came to fix the bathroom for a clog, did a drilling to remove the cap of the sewer so that they could put in the snake. The drilling caused some sort of breakage and the water from the shower started leaking in the room below the shower. Asked them to just come and take a look under the workmanship courtesy and instead they started talking trash. I don't see how it could have been any different given how the below reviews are addressed. Totally an unapologetic, good for nothing company. Atleast have courtesy to validate if the work caused any other issues, isn't that the whole purpose? Doing the work in a way that it fixes the problem WITHOUT causing any other damage to the people's homes? I do know this review will also have a justification attached to it, so never mind. Replying to the comment since there is no other way: - First off, the leak happened the very next day and not 3 days later, that too we got to know because we took bath in the evening. You did the fix on Monday afternoon, I reported to you on Wed night, Tue was unnoticed because we took bath in the morning before rushing to the office, meaning we won't go and check. On Wed, we noticed coincidentally because my husband was downstairs. - Second off, stop keep saying that home owners pay service fee and want everything fixed. We don't only pay service fee but also an annual fee.. In our case, 6 years advance, so don't give me this. Its not the question about money, but having ethics to do the work correctly and even if not done, being apologetic for a mistake committed. - Third, I am still going to request a new claim because its my home and we need it fixed but will make a strong request to not have you guys come over. No trust left. read more

Wish we could post a negative review and you can see based on the other reviews what kind of terrible company this is. They were hired by my Warranty Company to find and fix a leak that was causing water to come in under my kitchen floor. They spent less than 10 minutes running water in my sink and then decided that that it wasn't a plumbing issue and was either "a crack in the foundation" or "leaky back door". They decided to state that as a fact causing my Warrantly company to not allow any further inspection of the issue. It turns out that it was a leaky pipe (which was found in 5 minutes by the insurance adjustor). When I called them to try and get them back out to do the job or at the very least call the Warranty company to clear up the issue, the owner started screaming at me like a mad man saying "pipes that connect to appliances aren't a plumbers responsibility" (which I confirmed with the Warranty company that it is), they claimed I was trying to scam them out of money and admitted to dodging the calls from the Warranty company to follow up on the job. Avoid these people at all costs, they need to have their license revoked and are unprofessional scam artists. They literally wanted us to be left without coverage rather than admit they made a mistake. And for the record the Warranty Company did agree to send out a second plumber because of their unprofessional behavior and the new plumber confirmed that the "not responsible for pipes that touch appliances" statement is BS. read more
